Bali is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and for a couple’s holiday, it scores highly. Whether you’re thinking of a honeymoon destination, or just somewhere to unwind for a week, consider this Indonesian island for its unrivalled hotels, natural volcanic landscapes and warm hospitality.
We’ve shared some of the best things to experience together, while taking in everything the island has to offer. From romantic sunsets and beach clubs, to coffee plantation tours and cooking classes, here are some of our top recommendations.
Relax at Toya Devasya Hot Springs
Located next to Batur Natural Hot Spring, this is a resort that’s open to the public all day. There are infinity pools, a lakeside restaurant and spa where you can book treatments. The mineral-rich hot springs benefit from a lakeside location with views of Mount Batur; it’s a truly magical place to spend a few hours with your love one.
Tumblr media
Catch the Sunset at Uluwatu Temple
Right on the edge of a 70m cliff, this ornate Balinese temple has deep roots Bali’s religious history. It’s one of six key temples considered to be Bali’s spiritual pillars. Visit this quiet spot at sunset for the best views over the Indian Ocean.
Tumblr media
Visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace
If you’ve seen any photos of Bali, then the iconic rice fields in Ubud is probably etched in your memory. It’s a popular tourist spot, but still feels very peaceful surrounded by lush greenery. You can offer donations to locals before entering the rice fields, so small change is best rather than large notes.
Tumblr media
Book a table at The Amora Bali
Tumblr media
Dinner with a view. This sky-high restaurant has panoramic vistas over Mount and Lake Batur, with a menu of dishes created from local harvest that focus on quality and authenticity. With all day menus, you can pop by for breakfast, lunch or dinner on the terrace.
Get soaked at Tegenungan Waterfall
One of Bali’s most beautiful waterfalls is in the Ubud jungle, and has natural springs for bathing in. The water flow is heavy and refreshing, so it makes for a dramatic photo opportunity. This waterfall is popular with locals too, so it’s the perfect way to find out more about its fascinating history.

Maldives
Tumblr media
There is no bad time to head to the Maldives. Even rainy season is fairly dry compared to similar destinations. 26 coral atolls are made up of hundreds of tropical islands, nearly all geared towards luxury tourism.
A 10 hour flight from the UK is definitely worth it if your reward at the end is a Maldivian paradise! Accommodation in the Maldives ranges from floating beach huts to 5 star luxury hotels – take your pick.
Mexico (Cancun)
Tumblr media
Mexico’s number one tourist destination is the ideal place to catch some rays during the UK winter months. Just over 10 hours flight from the UK, Cancun boasts highs of 30°C heat between November and March meaning that you can spend days enjoying clear days, miles of white sand beach, popular outdoor attractions and historic Mayan landmarks.
Cancun’s Hotel Zone is where you’ll find the biggest all inclusive resorts, complete with Caribbean sea views and endless entertainment on offer. Downtown, Cancun’s shopping malls, lively bar scene and nightlife will keep you busy until the early hours.
Benidorm
Tumblr media
Why not swap the bleak UK winter for sunny Spain? On Spain’s Costa Blanca, Benidorm is a classic seaside resort with a long history and during the winter months temperatures average at a moderate 15°C.
As one of the most popular destinations for Brits, it offers lively nightlife, spacious golden beaches, and a handful of theme parks and water parks. It’s also home to the famous Sol Pelicanos Ocas; the twin hotels featured in hit ITV sitcom Benidorm. Not just a place for adults to enjoy, Benidorm caters well to young families wanting a fun-filled beach holiday with the familiarity of home.
Dubai

Thailand
Tumblr media

The best time to visit the islands is between November and March when the monsoon is blowing dry air, lessening the chance of rain. You can expect highs of up to 35°C during the day and balmy evenings.
Malta
Tumblr media

Already thinking about where you want to be escaping the UK winter months? Our selection of winter sun destinations will inspire you to get booking that holiday well ahead of time!
DUBAI
Winter is arguably the best time of year to take a holiday to Dubai considering that this desert destination is often sweltering later in the year. Anytime between November and March is ideal for bearable temperatures of around 25°C, perfect for lying by the pool! Dubai is home to some lovely beaches and boasts the number one water park in the whole of the Middle East and Europe.
Tumblr media
No trip to Dubai is complete without experiencing a Sunset Safari or a visit to the tallest skyscraper in the world, the Burj Khalifa, to get a birds-eye view of the city, desert and ocean from the 134th floor.
COSTA BLANCA
During the winter months temperatures on the Costa Blanca average at a moderate 15°C. Located in the province of Alicante, Costa Blanca is one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations. Also known as the ‘White Coast’ due its mile of gorgeous sandy beaches and clear waters, here you’ll find everything from beach watersports, restaurants and great nightlife, to lush green almond trees and orange groves that make the region unique.
Tumblr media
The coastline boasts countless resorts, the most popular including Benidorm, Torrevieja and Calpe. The annual Benidorm Fiesta is held each November and attracts a huge following with many visitors returning year after year. This amazing celebration honours the Patron Saints of Benidorm, La Virgen del Sufrage and Jaime Apostol and lasts for 6 pulsating days. In 2019 the party starts 8 November and lasts until 13 November.
TENERIFE
Tenerife is always a popular destination for winter sun. The coolest month of the year for this beautiful island is December, when temperatures still hover around 20°C. If you fancy some quiet relaxation then head to the charming town of Los Cristianos on the southwest coast or for something a little more energetic, Playa De Las Amèricas has a lively nightlife scene and six beaches.
Tumblr media
The island has plenty of activities to offer such as scuba diving, horse riding and swimming. Visit the town Los Gigantos with its lovely harbour where boat trips offer you the chance to see dolphins play in the waters with the stunning backdrop of the Los Gigantos ‘giants’ in the background, vertical cliffs reaching heights of 500 m in some places. For the wine connoisseurs, Festival of San Andres takes place 29th to 30th November where the first wines of the new season are ready. Producers from vineyards open wines for sampling at the harbour of Puerto de la Cruz.
FLORIDA
Temperatures in Florida during the winter months rarely drop below 20℃, and the sea stays nice and warm too. Great for a day at the beach! There’s plenty to do off the beach too, with Universal Studios Orlando and Walt Disney World just two attractions offering entertainment for children and adults alike.
Tumblr media
If you’ve always fancied exploring the wildlife of the Everglades, now’s the perfect time to go because humidity is low, and mosquitoes are rare. For something a little different, the Halifax Art Festival takes place 1st to 2nd November in downtown Daytona Beach.  This is the second oldest art festival in Florida and attracts hundreds of top artists and thousands of visitors.
FUERTEVENTURA
Due to its close proximity to the African coast, it’s not surprising that Fuerteventura enjoys 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, making it a popular destination for winter sun holidays. Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, famous for its long sandy beaches and towering sand dunes. The main resort of Corralejo can be found in the north of the island, with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. There are dozens of great restaurants and cafes and bars and a beach ideal for water sports.
Tumblr media
Caleta de Fuste is a purpose-built holiday resort situated on the east coast of the island. If you are looking for a beach holiday, combined with lots of family orientated activities, then Caleta de Fuste is the perfect destination. The International Kite Festival takes place every November in Corralejo, with about 700 kites in various shapes and colours decorating the sky. It lasts for three days and attracts large crowds from all over the island.
COSTA DEL SOL
Costa Del Sol has around 320 sunny days a year and an average winter temperatures of 20ºC. The mild temperatures make it possible to walk on the beach, eat al fresco with views of the sea or explore the charming whitewashed towns. While summer on the Costa Del Sol is busy, the winter months are perfect to take advantage of the substantially shorter queues at major attractions. Besides the beaches and sunshine, Costa del Sol is full of artistic and cultural offerings.
Tumblr media
Granada is home to one of Europe’s greatest treasures – the Alhambra. Malaga has everything, from Roman ruins and Moorish fortresses to contemporary museums and art galleries. Marbella’s Old Town is a charming blend of Andalusian and Moorish architecture, and Fuengirola boasts a striking Arab fortress. The Nerja Feria is a festival in honour of the patron saint of the village, Virgen de las Angustias, with events, music and celebrations happening all over the town. It takes place in the second week of October and is one of the most exciting times in the village.
ALGARVE
The Algarve has more than 300 days of sunshine each year and very few rainy days making it ideal for those wanting to get away from the Irish winter. With the average temperatures ranging between 10 and 15C in most coastal cities in the winter months, the dry and warm conditions make it excellent for exploring outdoors. Boasting over 100 miles of golden beaches, including the Blue Flag Praia d’Oura and Praia de Vale Figueira, the Algarve is Portugal’s most popular region for holidaymakers. Known for its limestone caves and cliff tops, whitewashed villages, water sports and golf scene, the Algarve has it all.
Tumblr media
One of the Algarve’s most popular areas is Albufeira, close to Faro airport. In the popular Old Town, you’ll find churches, restaurants, cafés and bars in abundance.  Every 11th November in the port city of Portimão, the ancient festival of Feira de São Martinho (St Martin’s Fair), takes place and is a real slice of Algarve culture. There are stalls, street food and carnival games to enjoy but the festival is mainly celebrated by eating roast chestnuts and drinking the first of the year’s wine (called a magusto).
MALTA
Malta enjoys some of the highest average hours of sunshine in Europe throughout the year and from October to April you can expect temperatures from 10 to 25C. With over 250 km of barely inhabited coastline and beautiful inland landscapes, Malta in the winter months is a great destination for a walking holiday. The weather is perfect for heading out trekking or exploring without having to worry about getting sunburnt or overheated.
Tumblr media
Malta’s rich history offers an abundance of indoor or even underground sites to discover, the prehistoric Ghar Dalam cave is a must. There are a variety of interesting museums, palaces, dungeons and lavishly decorated cathedrals to enjoy too. One of the most popular areas in Malta is in the northern region of St. Paul’s Bay. The neighbouring resorts of Qawra and Bugibba have lots of amazing hotel options and it’s a great place to base yourself if you want to explore more of Malta. The Carnival in Valletta is one of the oldest cultural events that takes place in Malta. From 28th to 5th March, the streets are full of extraordinary floats, each followed by groups of dancers and musicians in themed costumes.

And for the shopaholics, you’ll find plenty of vintage and antique shops to rummage through along The 9 Streets. Jordaan is one of the city’s most famous locations with a thriving community of creatives.

From dance to hip hop, there’s a venue for everyone and events happening each night of the week. Check out Melkweg, a popular entertainment venue near Leidseplein (Amsterdam’s prime nightlife square), and WestUnie in the cultural hotspot of Westergas.

Paris needs little introduction as the city of love. From the cobbled streets and imposing River Seine, to its Renaissance art and classically French food scene, the capital oozes charm and romance.
If you only have 48 hours to play with, consider visiting some of these wonderful landmarks, attractions and neighbourhoods on your city break.
Day One
Go shopping on Avenue des Champs-Élysées
Often described as the world’s most beautiful avenue, this long street is busy 24/7 and home to some of the biggest designer and high street names including Louis Vuitton, Mont-Blanc and Sephora. There are restaurants and bars, nightclubs and independent shops too making it a great place to pick up some special gifts or new wardrobe additions.
If you are both into art, then head to the bottom of Champs-Élysées to have a wander around the Grand Palais (a steel-framed exhibition space and museum) and the Petit Palais (fine art museum). At the top of Champs-Élysées is the iconic Arc de Triomphe.
Explore Montmartre
This area is home to many Parisian artists, as well as the renowned Basilica of Sacre-Coeur atop the hill. Spend some time walking around the imposing white church, and admiring the panoramic views of the city. It’ usually always busy here with tourists taking photos and relaxing on the grassy areas when the weather is good.
Elsewhere in the area is Musée de Montmartre, displaying art from local painters. Spend a few hours browsing the shops, café’s and street markets selling local art, before heading to the Moulin Rouge on the outskirts of Montmartre to enjoy a cabaret show.
Day Two
Stroll through Luxemburg Gardens
Take some away from the hustle and bustle of the city in these prestigious gardens. Once home to royalty before the French Revolution, these beautiful tree-lined gardens are perfect for an afternoon walk or picnic. There are stunning orchids and rose flowerbeds, and orange trees dotted around too.
Dinner Cruise along the River Seine
A cruise is the ideal way to wind down while taking in Paris by night. See some iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre and Musee d’Orsay and indulge in a meal and wine for two at a leisurely pace. Some cruises even offer live music and guided tours as you float along the famous Seine River.

Last minute holidays are fantastic. They’re perfect if you want a great holiday for excellent value and are open to visiting somewhere you may not have been to before. You can’t beat that rush of spontaneity either! Best of all is that you’re likely to grab a bargain too. Take advantage of the discounts on offer, snapping up a great deal for a fraction of the price.
So, if you’re wondering how to get the best last minute holiday deals, look no further. Here’s everything you need to know.
So when is a good time?
Tumblr media
People argue about the best time to a book a last minute holiday, so it’s not surprising that we’re all so unsure about it. Some people say that booking at the very last minute (just days before you jet off) is the best way to do it, whereas others say you should book about four weeks in advance of heading to the airport.
The best time for you will depend on who you’re going on holiday with. If you’re going on holiday on your own or as a couple, you might be able to be very flexible, snapping up the last couple of plane seats and checking into one lovely remaining hotel room. In this case, waiting until the very last minute is a good idea.
On the other hand, if you’re travelling with children or as a large group, you’ll understandably be interested in getting plane seats and hotel rooms beside one another. If that’s the case, you’re better off booking approximately four weeks before you want to go to make sure you have a good choice of options.
When do last minute flights get cheaper?
Tumblr media
Generally, last minute flights get cheaper the closer it gets to the departure date. This might mean holding out to book your holiday a little closer to the week you want to go away on, but there are plenty of good deals to be found along the way. Flight prices vary in price throughout the week, and even at different times of day, so you can find great deals if you’d prefer not to leave it too late.
The best thing you can do if you want to find cheap flights for a last minute holiday is to be flexible; if you don’t need to stick to a specific departure or return date you could snap up a great deal, regardless of how ‘late’ you leave it booking your holiday.
Should you look for an all inclusive deal?
Tumblr media
You might also be wondering whether you should look for an all inclusive deal to keep things straightforward and cost effective. If you know you’d like to relax close to your accommodation and make the most of the facilities and dining options available, then going all inclusive is the best option.
Alternatively, if you’re the kind of person who spends lots of time outside of your holiday resort, enjoys eating at different restaurants each night and are less likely to enjoy a routine, a half board or self catering last minute deal might be a good option for you!
How to book a last minute holiday
Tumblr media
The best way to book a last minute deal is to see what you can find online. It’s easy to do, and you can search our best last minute holiday deals whenever you’re ready to start planning your next escape. Majorca, Dubai and Portugal all make fantastic last minute, short haul beach destinations. Fancy a city break instead? Browse our deals to Paris, Amsterdam, New York and more!

Have you seen new line?! I’m obsessed. Whether I’m getting rey for work or it’s date night, I’m always feeling sassy, sexy, and chic with I’ve been in love with their famous push-up bras because a girl can never have too much cleavage! Now they’ve launched panties as well😍. They’re only 3 for $30 right now. I was in major need of some seamless undies but I was having a super hard time finding cute ones. Seamless can be boring BUT not these - so much lace mixed in! This girl just can’t get enough lace underthings! You’ve gotta checkout what they’ve got going on right now ;) . girl life ista eanscantik eansmurah 22 tory kiev hair
