If I fits, I sits.

I blame my husband for the title.
One thing about dragons...if they want to sit somewhere, they're going to sit there.  *sighs*

DBZ Couples: OCs Tim x Debra
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor pencils, Sakura gel, and Faber ink pens.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So, like I mentioned in the previous picture, with all the new DBZ movies and the new series, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and draw some of my favorite couples.  While I drew Debra about a year or so back for a Mother's Day picture, I haven't drawn Tim in ages.  Both have had a style and hair update since their first incarnations.  ^_^
These are my own OCs, who also happen to the be parents of my OC Jianu who is featured in my DBZ/Yu-GiOh crossover series.
More info on them under the read more.
So, like I mentioned in the previous picture, with all the new DBZ movies and the new series, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and draw some of my favorite couples.  Don't look for consistencies with clothing and hair styles, I kinda picked and chose from different points in the series, or made up my own outfits as I saw fit.
Wow, it's been a long time since I've done some proper DBZ art.  Yeah I did do that tiny Shenlon recently, but I've been doing a lot of animal-type pictures lately so he's not as big a surprise as these guys.  With all the new DBZ movies and the new series, I thought I'd have a bit of fun and draw some of my favorite couples.  Don't look for consistencies with clothing and hair styles, I kinda picked and chose from different points in the series, or made up my own outfits as I saw fit.
This picture is...
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor pencils, Sakura gel, and Faber ink pens.  Background made in PSPv8.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
...finally finished.   The last of my old pics.  This lovely piece of mobiumshipping fun was my sanity project while I was wedding planning.  I would work on it in my brief moments of free time, giggling with fangirlish glee as it came together.  As a project solely for my own enjoyment, it was a wonderful stress reducer.
I added the background after not finding a gradient pattern that looked right with them.  Still not sure what they're sitting on, it's not really a pillow....

Steampunk Duel Disk
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Faber ink pens, and Prismacolor pencils. Background pattern and additional shading added with PSPv8.
Remember how I mentioned back in my YGO Steampunk: Yami - The Gambler picture that I had designed and scrapped a steampunk duel disk? No? Well regardless, here it is finally in full color. It was a lot of fun to design, but also a LOT of work.

Kiss of the Vampire Thief
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor pencils, Sakura gel, and Faber ink pens.  Background made in PSPv8.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Request pic from Karenjade, the bite scene from her fanfic:  Kiss Of The Vampire Thief
So this is another one of those sketches I had languishing in my notebook for an ungodly length of time.  I feel really bad 'cause it was a request, but with everything that's been going on in my family the last couple years, I could never bring myself to work on it or my other pics.
Last of the old chibis...I promise.
So while this one came about while I was brainstorming ideas for the contest, it was obvious I couldn't use it.  However, the idea just wouldn't leave me alone so I just had to draw my cute naga Yuugi and Yami interacting.  Yami transformed by the Orichalcos decides to claim Yuugi.  The puzzle reacts to protect its' master and transforms Yuugi into a naga as well.  That's why Yami's underbelly is green and Yuugi's is gold to represent what power changed them.  Obviously Yami approves of the change.
Yuugi as a spirit of spring, playing with fox kits.    The color tones for his yukata were based around typical spring colors for yukatas/kimonos.
Chibi Yami Summer Spirit
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor pencils, Sakura gel, and Faber ink pens.  Background made in PSPv8.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So way back when this group on Devianart had their chibi contest, I came up with a bunch of ideas for possible entries, sketched up my favorites, then let my family help me decide which one would be my final entry. Obviously this one didn't get picked, but it was too cute not to color. The color tones for his yukata were based around typical summer colors for yukatas/kimonos. There's a matching spring one of Yuugi.
Also, that's a round watermelon he's holding.

Happy Halloween! 2014
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Faber ink pens, and Prismacolor pencils. Background and image altered with PSPv8.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So it's been a while huh?
Well, long story short..had a lot of stuff going on that put my art and writing muses into a virtual coma.  But I've been getting back into the swing of things and came up with this cute little piece just in time for Halloween.
Witch Yami and Vampire Yuugi taking a late night flight.  Yami's witch outfit is heavily based on the Magician of Black Chaos, his "broom" is even the same staff!  ^_^
Yuugi's vampire outfit is a mix of designs, with the main inspiration being his usual attire and the Victorian-era vampire attire.
Yami no Yuugi chibi/paperchild
Medium: Prismacolor and Copic Sketch Markers, Prismacolor pencils, Sakura gel, and Faber ink pens.  Background made in PSPv8.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For my Yuugi cosplay I wanted to make a couple of paperchildren to ride on my puzzle.  I drew up both Atem and Yami so I could wear a different one each day.   Atem didn't print well and his pose looked awkward on the puzzle, but Yami here turned out perfect and rode my puzzle the whole convention, clinging to the top-ring and glaring out at any and all potential threats.

Sorry about the random post spam. Accidentally queued these to the wrong blog and this was the fastest way to move them to get them to the proper one. They should all be deleted now. (^_^;)

For my Yuugi cosplay I wanted to make a couple of paperchildren to ride on my puzzle.  I drew up both Atem and Yami so I could wear a different one each day.  Unfortunately for Atem here, he printed up too pale and his pose made him look awkward.  Such was not the case for Yami.
He's still a little cutie.

Motherhood
Medium: Copic & Prismacolor Markers, Faber Castell Ink pens, Roseart gel pens, and Prismacolor Pencils.
Penny Mutou brings 1 year-old Yuugi to see his aunt Debra and her newborn baby Jianu.
I originally planned on having this up by last Mother's day but I didn't get it colored in time.
