goddddd nyx is such a tragic character. they're smart, they're good, theyre dedicated, but everything they do is either wrong or totally pointless, through no fault of their own.
take the tower wheel: it was not unreasonable to think that the tower could trap the cube demon. it was trapped before for a reason, nyx thinks, (they couldn't have known the cube wasn't actually trapped, just waiting) in of itself, it's not a stupid decision to make. it's just that when you're powerless and out of time, you're forced to take risks that just might not work out. nyx was forced, by those who actually had the power to do something and didn't, into a position where nothing they do matters, either because they're without money or influence, or an actual ghost. it's very topical!
for them, everything is left to forces outside their control when bad things happen, so its honestly fitting that dumb luck was also the thing that saves the world and brings them peace in the end.
“The keffiyeh, also known as a hatta, is a traditional Arab headdress. Historically, it was worn by nomadic communities — or Bedouins — in historic Palestine. It's typically made of cotton and adorned with distinctive woven patterns. It comes in a variety of colors, though over the last century, the black and white one has become synonymous with Palestinians.”
