As you know, we ran into an issue with the materials. The samples previously approved were supposed to be Silicone Shore 10. However they were accidentally made with Silicone Shore 20 - this means that they were twice as firm as the parts we received. We loved the Shore 20 samples!! Due to the nature of the accidental material we need to test another set of Shore 20 samples to ensure that, when intentionally made, this material still meets our needs. Once that has been verified we can start working on the new batch of Spouti™ and we can get pre-orders filled! This will take time, but we will continue to offer this high level of transparency so that you can move along this journey in stride with us! I wanted to use this blog to demonstrate a bit of the personal side of making a business. We’ve sunk a lot of money into getting Spouti™ created so I make a lot of our tools myself. This time it’s a photo box! Taking good photos isn’t easy if you don’t have good lighting and right now spending 50 bucks on a lightbox and so here is our improvised version!  So far I’m happy with the results and I added a few extra holes so I can position the lights differently. It’s a work in progress and I will have to get familiar with the best angles - but I loved the photos I got with it and I wish I had made it before!

Upgrading the office chair - low budget style! Back when I worked in IT the chairs were *awful* so I got this cushion to take some of the pressure off my tailbone. My current office has a great chair but I needed something to support my back while I sit. I was about to purchase one of those mesh lumbar supports, but then I grabbed this and it fit perfectly! A little PT strap from my wife’s PT gear and BOOM! Lumbar support and posture correction for free! As soon as I sat back I felt a little crack as everything lined up - best DIY ever!
