Two artworks by Satoshi Morita was currently on view at the Boomer Gallery in the Tower Bridge district of London, England. (Until May 15, 2024).
We received a nice photo of the opening from the gallery! (We could not be present during the exhibition. But we felt the energy of the exhibition through the photos! Thank you Boomer Gallery!)

Does a latent shadow reside in the heart of artistic creation and within the souls of the artists themselves?
If any figure could parallel the introspective solitude of a monk, it is the visual artist. Though it may stir debate, let us reflect. Consider the profound solitude, the palpable stillness of the studio where silent hours merge into days, as the artist labors and broods over their craft, fervently hoping for the world to awaken to the brilliance of their ideas, to feel the pulse of their passion embedded in their work.

CONSCIOUSNESS – ANIMA MUNDI 2024

9 artworks of Satoshi Morita was exhibited at ANIMA MUNDI 2024 in Venice, Italy.
We visited the opening event!
This exhibition by ITSLEQUID Group was held in May 10 to May 24, 2024 and hosted a great selection of photography, painting, video art, installation/sculpture and performance art!
I was surprised at the diversity of various artworks.
The opening started with beautiful performance of Shibari(rope performing art). I felt pure joy and emotion from their performance.
The power of art, that was surprisingly strong. Every artworks talked to me in different ways and different point of view. That made the atmosphere of the gallery like an Kaleidoscope.
The viewer's intention and vitality were diffused and reflected by the artworks … then this chemistry created a world of primordial chaos. That was just like the theme “CONSCIOUSNESS- ANIMA MUNDI”

🏫Workshop🏫 at Bagel Burlesque Expo
I gave a workshop on Saturday 27th April 2024, at Le Studio TD.
This workshop is about stage dynamics to increase performer’s power.
The workshop shared the use of the stage in classical plays like Romeo and Juliet, the use of the stage in Noh, a traditional Japanese art form, breathing techniques, as well as wisdom passed down from classical burlesque legends.
Thank you to all participants for taking the course with sincerity!
Wisdom from our predecessors is passed on in this way…and is the legacy not only of burlesque but of the entire stage industry.

I would like to talk about Neo Burlesque Extravaganza in Montreal, Canada!
Bagel Burlesque Expo : An International NeoBurlesque with artists from all over the world (Japan, Canada, USA, France, UK).
(From Japan, Mecav headlined this year.)
I hosted this fantastic showcase on Friday, as an English MC , with Sugarpuss .
There were so many incredible talents! It was such an honor to introduce them on stage.
I had performed as an international burlesque performer from 2005-2016, and was based in Montreal. I already retired performing in 2022 in Japan, and this time retired internationally in my dearest town with dearest people.
It was such a great time to share this stage with Montreal’s stars and international fantastic artist. It was a miracle . Just time flies…(almost like no time has passed…this is the words which my best friend Sugarpuss told me.)
Montrealers! We were together at that time and we built the foundation of the Montreal scene together. I am very proud of all of you, and grateful that it has paid off in a big way!!!!!
At the Bagel Expo, I was awarded as “Burlesque Montreal Legend” …it was such an honor! So sweet…

✨Behind the scene✨
At the Green room of Le Studio TD…Bagel Burlesque Expo.
Today I’d like to talk about my dear friend, Sugarpuss, an actress and a burlesque performer in Montreal.
This was April 26th. We Finished rehearsal, then came to the venue.
It was a miracle. We didn’t feel that 10 years had passed…That was just like no time between 2014 to 2024.
We first met in Tokyo, Back in 2007, at the rehearsal for the musical Forbidden Zone. Since then, we shared a tons of stage.
We lived at the same building in St-Henri.
When Lulu (The organizer of Bagel Expo, amazing talent!) told me that the French host at the Bagel Expo is Sugarpuss, I was SO EXCITED!
I am really lucky person.
If Sugarpuss was not located in Montreal, I would never thought of moving to there. Without her, I might have lived elsewhere in North America, not MTL.
Sugarpuss, Thank you so much!
This was my last burlesque show in all over the world. I had very special happy moments with her and fantastic neo burlesque artists!
My stage career is finalized, but I think our friendship has entered a new chapter !

Reunion with poutine!!
Hi there! I visited Montreal last week.
I used to be an international burlesque performer, named Cherry Typhoon. I was located in MTL at that moment.
This time, amazing friend of mine, Lulu Les Belles Mirettes invited me to MTL as a selection comittee member of Bagel Burlesque Expo. She Also invited me as a guest MC for Friday Night.
So, this is my travel diary of reunion…
On the first day -I flew from Tokyo with Japan’s Burlesque star Mecav and Japanese Artist Satoshi Morita, co-founder of my company Raymma.
At the airport, we met the big beautiful smile of Lulu Les Belles Mirettes , the founder of Bagel Burlesque Expo. I always love her energy offstage/onstage! Very loving energetic girl! I am very happy that she is inviting us to this very innovative event.
And YES! ! My best friend Sugarpuss was there! Me and Sugarpuss had shared a tons of stage and our lifetime since 2007. And going to share the stage as MC on this Friday at Bagel Expo again!
Then finally gorgeous Lazer Mullet came to the airport! Big hug moment! I can’t wait to see his new stage persona on this weekend! He is going to be one of the stage kittens on Friday night. That will be the teaser of the world of Lazer Mullet…
Then on the 2nd day - we went to La Banquise for POUTINE REUNION ! Aren’t we cute?
