What A Million Bucks Can't Buy (Heatherra Oneshot)
[req from anonymous. I really hope you like it! I had a lot of fun writing it]
“Karaoke! Let’s do karaoke!” Sierra suggested to the other contestants. It was a celebration. All twenty-three (Blaineley wasn’t invited- she was old, and Ezekiel was in the hospital thanks to DJ) of the Total Drama contestants were having a party to celebrate the end of their time on reality T.V. at the resort in Hawaii.
Heather was probably the most ecstatic she had been in a long time. After almost a year of dealing with Chris’ challenges, she finally won the money she deserved. Getting her hair shaved off, losing a tooth, it was all worth it now. She couldn’t believe Ezekiel almost took the money- with the angle he was going at, he was going to fall into the volcano WITH the money. Thankfully, DJ interfered and no one died. Yet. Ezekiel was on the verge of death, and Heather was pretty sure medical interference wouldn’t save him. Anyways, the point was, she had the money! And she was always down for a game of karaoke- what was the point of music if Heather wasn’t the one singing it?
“To the Total Drama theme song!”
Oh. Well, what the heck?
“I’m in!” Heather volunteered.
She ran up to the makeshift stage (a.k.a. the step from the dining room into the kitchen) next to Sierra, who was out of her wheelchair. A trip to the hospital fixed whatever was going on with her legs. Thank god.
“The Total Drama theme song?” Leshawna asked. “After all of this, I want to forget the words ‘total’ and ‘drama’.”
“Oh come on. It’s a formative experience of all of our teenage lives now!” Sierra argued.
“I just want to do karaoke, don’t drag me in with her,” Heather said.
Soon enough, someone booted up a computer and connected it to the speakers. Geoff found an instrumental version of the theme song, and it wasn’t like anyone needed the lyrics. Sierra and Heather were both holding bananas that DJ tossed them from the kitchen (he was making salads) as microphones.
“I can’t believe I’m singing the theme song with the actual contestants of Total Drama!” Sierra exclaimed, jumping up and down. “Eee!”
“It’s starting, chill,” Heather ordered. “You’ve been saying this type of stuff all season.”
The music began to play.
“Dear mom and dad, I’m doin’ fine,” Heather and Sierra began, synchronized. Heather was fighting the smile off her face and Sierra’s grin was wider than a football field. “You guys are on my mind.”
“You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see,”
“I wanna be famous.”
Heather stopped fighting the smile. For god’s sake, she was holding a banana as a microphone. And singing the Total Drama theme song with Sierra. Plus, karaoke was one of her favorite things to do at a party. Heather always outshined everyone there.
“I wanna live close to the sun,” Heather jabbed a thumb at her chest.
“Go pack your bags, ‘cause I’ve already won,” Sierra pretended to send cash flying from her hands while still holding the microphone.
“Everything to prove, nothing in my way,” Heather swished her hands from side to side.
“I’ll get there one day.” Sierra’s eyes grew creases.
“‘Cause I wanna be famous!” Heather squeezed her eyes shut as she yelled the line.
“Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!” Heather and Sierra leant in closer to one another.
“I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!” The two shouted the lyrics.
“I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous!”
A couple people whistling in the empty dining room finished off the song. Heather stood up straight and grinned, Sierra copying her actions.
“You are a great singer, Heather,” Bridgette complimented, stepping into the kitchen.
“I know,” Heather threw her hair over her shoulder. “And stop doing your ‘aftermath show’ personality. There are no cameras here!”
“Sorry. Being here has me in stage mode.” Bridgette motioned at everyone. “You are pretty okay at singing, though. Congrats on the million, even if I’m still kind of bummed that Courtney didn’t win. Should’ve been a tiebreaker.”
“That’s better.”
“I’m still pissed about that!” Courtney yelled, from somewhere nearby. “I hate Chris!”
“Salads are done guys!” DJ yelled. He placed a few bowls on the counter at a time, constantly turning back to take the rest.
Heather was about to go grab one for herself. She could use a bite of decent food after all of her time spent on that plane. And DJ’s salads were usually godlike.
“Here, Heather!” Sierra passed Heather a bowl. It was a little emptier than she thought it was going to be. She looked up to Sierra’s own salad, which was a bit fuller. She looked for a difference between the two, and then realized- hers didn’t have spinach. That was weird. It wasn’t like she didn’t like spinach- well, there was that one time she got spinach stuck in her teeth, but she still liked spinach.
Weird.
“Uh, thanks, Sierra.” Heather walked towards the living room and took a seat on the couch facing the T.V. Cody, Gwen, and Trent were playing Mario Kart. The three of them were on the ground to get a better look at the game, so the couch was empty. Sierra sat next to Heather.
“Beat them up, Cody!” Heather cheered.
“Go Cody!” Sierra added.
“I’m trying!” Cody yelled, frantic. It looked like Trent was winning, and Gwen was trading spots with Cody. “Darn it Trent, how are you so good?”
“I have literally never played this game in my life,” Trent deadpanned.
“What a show-off,” Gwen complained.
“It’s not my fault that I’m just good.”
“You’re the worst.”
“I think you mean the best.”
Heather finished her salad and placed it on a side table. She watched Gwen, Trent, and Cody play a few more rounds, Trent winning all of them. When they were done, the T.V. was free for the taking. Heather and Sierra were left alone in the room as the other three exited to the dining room.
“Heather, wanna watch the Saw movies?” Sierra asked.
“Um,” Heather gave Sierra a look, “what is up today?”
“What?”
“We did karaoke, which is normal for a party, but happens to be one of my favorite activities. Then you gave me a salad that didn’t have spinach in it, which was weird because every other salad had spinach in it. Now you ask me if I want to watch my favorite movie series that I never told you was my favorite movie series. What is going on?”
Sierra shifted on the couch, averting her eyes. “I mean, you know I know basically everything about you guys. And I kind of wanted to do some stuff I knew you liked. Just because I wanted to do something nice for you.”
Heather rolled her eyes. “Well thanks, but next time don’t be weird. You did not have to take the spinach out of that salad. That was stupid.”
“Sorry.”
“Come on,” Heather stood up. “I think I could use some fresh air. Let’s sit outside.”
The beach was empty. The stars were bright. Heather took her seat on a towel in the sand, and Sierra sat next to her. Thank god there wasn’t wind, or else she would be covered in sand. She wasn’t the biggest fan of the beach because of the sand, but she still loved it because she looked very nice in bikinis. But the best part of the beach was the peacefulness there was at night. And it was warm in Hawaii, about the temperature of summer in British Columbia.
The stars were bright, and Heather couldn’t help but stare at them. She assumed Sierra was doing the same thing.
“Sierra, I have a question,” Heather began.
“Hm?” Sierra responded.
“Why were you doing nice things for me?”
“Well, you kind of made me realize something.” Sierra turned towards Heather. Heather returned her gaze. “You should matter more to me than any guy ever should.”
Heather felt a sudden warmth in her face. “Oh.” She smiled a little bit. Sierra grinned back. “You too, actually.”
“Well, in your very own words, boyfriends are temporary, but girlfriends are forever.”
“Yeah.” Heather’s smile turned soft as her eyes dropped to Sierra’s lips.
Sierra took the hint, and gave Heather a small kiss on her lips. It lasted only a moment, but it was pretty perfect.
Heather turned back to face the ocean. She dropped her head to Sierra’s shoulder, and lost herself in the night. A million bucks couldn’t buy a septillion stars.

5 Times Alejandro Flustered Tyler and 1 Time Lindsay Noticed Why (Aletyler Oneshot)
“Go Tyler! Go Tyler!” Lindsay screamed across the baseball field.
Tyler smiled at Lindsay. Lindsay was known for showing her friends support all the time. Even if it was just a friendly game between two teams from the same school during summer. Lightning had bet the juniors that the sophomores could beat them at baseball, and Tyler never turned down a challenge.
So, Tyler got everyone who would come roped in for the game. They didn’t have enough people for a proper team, but a game was a game. Tyler managed to round up Geoff, Duncan, Cody, Owen, and last but not least, Alejandro. Lightning managed to get Scott, Brick, Jo, Mike, and B. At the beginning of the game, he said something about it being “guys versus guys”. Tyler was pretty sure he still didn’t know that Jo was a girl.
There was only one person watching the game, and that was Lindsay. No one else really cared enough about some bet between Tyler and Lightning of all people. Yet, for some reason, Lindsay was still out cheering out on the sidelines.
“Tyler!” Lindsay yelled. Not cheered. Yelled.
Tyler turned towards the field.
A baseball was soaring at him.
Pow!
“Ugh,” Tyler groaned, falling back on the field. His head hit the grass, just like how the ball hit his face.
“Tyler!” Lindsay shrieked, horrified. She ran from the sidelines to Tyler, crouching next to him.
“Amigo.” Alejandro got on his knees next to Tyler. “Can you hear me?”
“Huh?” Tyler asked, in a daze. He looked side to side with squinted eyes, seeing two Alejandro’s. He had double vision. Not like he was a stranger to that.
Alejandro took Tyler’s hand, gently pulling him into a sitting position. “Are you alright?”
Tyler blinked a few times, and smiled. “Yeah, I’m okay. This is all grood! Happens all the slime.”
Alejandro chuckled. “Uhh, Tyler, I think you need to sit on the side with Lindsay for a little bit.”
“What?” Tyler asked. “No! You’re really fine! Wait, I mean-”
Alejandro gave Tyler a pat on the shoulder. “You need a break. I’m sure Mike wouldn’t mind sitting out to even out the teams.
“Dang,” Tyler sighed. Lindsay helped Tyler up, and he went to sit on the ground with her.
She smiled. “You said ‘slime’ instead of ‘time’.”
“Aw man, I did?” He folded his arms. “That’s embarrassing.”
“You also said ‘grood’.”
“Ugh…”
~~~
“I didn’t even see that,” Alejandro mumbled. “Good move.”
“Hah, well, you know,” Tyler responded. “I mean, how am I supposed to win sports without a sick sense of strategy? Also, my gym teacher accidentally put me on the chess team for all of ninth grade, so I learned to crush it.”
“It wasn’t an accident,” Duncan muttered.
“I should’ve been there,” Alejandro stated. “Maybe then I could kick your butt even harder than I am right now.”
Alejandro moved his knight to Tyler’s king, knocking it over.
“Checkmate.”
“Woah! That came out of nowhere!” Tyler exclaimed. “You’re really good.”
“Thank you, amigo,” Alejandro smirked and brought a hand to Tyler’s face. “Although, you did put up quite the fight.”
Duncan gave Lindsay a look with one eyebrow raised. She returned it with a smile.
Tyler shot back from Alejandro. “You’re also really good. Obviously,” He squeaked. “You beat me.” He chuckled.
“I did.”
~~~
“Thank you again for holding all of our stuff.” Alejandro slipped his three bags of clothes from individual stores onto Tyler’s arm. “We appreciate it.”
“Yeah!” Lindsay smiled. She dropped her bags into Tyler’s arms, and he stumbled backwards. She most certainly had more bags than Alejandro had.
“Mhm,” Justin acknowledged that they were giving thanks and hung a bag on each of Tyler’s right fingers. Tyler remained upright. He just wished his upper body strength as a whole was as good as his finger strength. With that, Justin walked into the changing room.
“Well, you know,” Tyler grunted. “You’re spending the money so I gotta carry the bags.”
“It’s our money, you’re still doing us a favor.”
“You’re doing a favor by looking pretty and stuff.”
“Aw, you think I’m pretty? Why thank you.”
Tyler’s face turned slightly pink. “Yeah, uh, well I kind of said that on accident but like, you are pretty I just meant that-”
“I know what you meant, amigo.” Alejandro gave Tyler a smile. “Thank you.”
“Yeah,” Tyler managed to vocalize.
“Well. I’m going to try this shirt on.” Alejandro walked into a nearby changing room.
“Aw, you think he’s pretty,” Lindsay grinned. “So nice of you to compliment him.”
“You look pretty too,” Tyler smiled.
“Yay! I know I do, but thanks!”
~~~
“You gonna come in, Linds?” Tyler asked.
“No, I need to work on my tan. And my hair is straightened,” Lindsay replied.
“Aw man. But it’s beach day!”
“Come on, amigo.” Alejandro placed a hand on Tyler’s shoulder. Tyler’s eyes dashed to look at it. “Let’s just go swim. Bridgette and Geoff are waiting.”
“Yeah! Let’s go. Um,” He peeled his eyes from his shoulder, and to Alejandro’s eyes. “Yeah.”
Alejandro and Tyler stood still, staring at each other.
“Uhh, are you guys okay?” Lindsay asked.
“Yes!” Alejandro tore his hand from Tyler’s shoulder. “Let’s go.”
Tyler nodded and turned, walking towards the beach.
“Bye guys,” Lindsay said, slightly confused.
“Bye!” Tyler waved his hand backwards.
~~~
Heather snorted. “What is with your hair?”
Alejandro looked up, as if he could actually see his own hair. “What’s wrong with it?”
“You don’t even have enough hair to do a ponytail so you only did half of it. You look ridiculous, Alejandro.”
“Hey! It’s a style,” Tyler defended. “It’s a half-up-half-down.” He turned to Lindsay. “Right?”
“Yeah, but I don’t think it works that well with his hair type-”
“I think he looks cute!” Tyler yelled, a little too loudly.
Alejandro stood still.
Lindsay stood still.
Heather gave Tyler an eyebrow raise. “You mean the hairstyle looks good?”
“Yeah!” He exclaimed, now a little nervous as he took in his friends’ stares.
Alejandro stood up straight. “Yeah, Heather. Tyler likes it. It’s clearly just a you problem.”
“Well, I-” Lindsay butted in.
“Come on Tyler, we have a game to play.”
The two of them walked off, leaving Heather and Lindsay alone.
“God, what an idiot,” Heather insulted.
“Don’t talk about Tyler like that!”
“Not Tyler,” Heather rolled her eyes, “Alejandro.”
“What?”
“He’s so stupid for not noticing.”
“Noticing what?”
“You are too.”
“What?”
~~~
“And guess what?” Lindsay asked, through mouthfuls of popcorn. “She said my nail polish was cheap! Cheap! I never spare a dime when it comes to accessorizing, she knows that.”
“You should cut her off,” Alejandro advised.
“I guess,” Lindsay said. “But seriously!” She shot her hands in the air, hitting Tyler straight in the nose.
Alejandro fell backwards and off of the footrest he had been sitting on. “Oughhh.”
“Tyler!” Alejandro stood up. “Are you alright?”
Alejandro held a hand out to Tyler and pulled him back onto the footrest.
“I-I like girls!”
Alejandro chuckled, and continued to hold his hand. “I know.”
Lindsay looked between the two.
Tyler looked down at Alejandro’s hand before letting go.
“By the way, what time is it?” Alejandro asked.
“Nine,” Lindsay responded.
“Oh, I have to go. See you, Tyler.”
“Bye Al!”
Alejandro grunted, walking away.
Lindsay waited until she heard a door open and shut, and then turned to Tyler.
“Do you have a thing for him?”
“What?” Tyler asked. “No, I don’t, nah, we’re just friends.” He waved his arms around in denial.
“You totally like him! Eee!”
“Do not!”
“Do too! The other day you said he was cute, and today you said you like girls when he helped you up. You totally like him!”
“Aw man,” Tyler sighed. “I do. But only a little!”
Lindsay squealed and gave Tyler a hug. “Yay! You should ask him out!”
“No way! He’s so out of my league.”
“I’m out of your league, but you dated me. Why is he any different?”
“Hey!”
Ugly Doll (Heather Focus Oneshot)
The razor buzzed in Heather’s hand. She turned it off. And on. And off again.
She dropped the razor into the sink and sobbed into her hands. Again.
Her eyes were already puffy and red enough. The more she cried the more she looked like shit. The more like shit, the less she could bear to actually bring the razor to her hair and get rid of the final bits. What remained of her hair was uneven and uncomfortable, not to mention incredibly tangled, but she wanted to hold onto what was left so bad.
She ran her hands through what was left, but the action just made her cry harder. Her teeth were clenched and eyebrows furrowed as she looked in the mirror. Mascara ran down her face, and her lipstick was smeared. She should’ve taken care of her makeup earlier.
She was an ugly doll with pretty hair. But she didn’t have that pretty hair anymore.
She wanted to hide in a hole forever.
Knock.
“Go away,” Heather croaked. Her voice was cracked and it was very evident that she had been crying. Well, as if the entire resort hadn’t heard her crying anyways.
“Heather, your crying is keeping everyone up,” Leshawna’s voice was heard through the door.
“I said go away!” Heather raised her voice, now knowing that the girl she called her enemy for the entire season was the girl at the door. Maybe if it was like, Cody or something, she wouldn’t be as harsh. Out of pity. But Leshawna? Telling her to shut up no less.
A long and loud sigh was exhaled. “Heather. Let me in.”
“No.”
“I promise I won’t make fun of you.”
“No.”
“Heather! If you want to feel like shit for the finale, I’ll let you. I thought maybe you would want the energy when we watched it tomorrow.”
Heather perked up, and opened the door of the bathroom. However, she didn’t venture to the door of her bedroom. “We’re watching the finale?”
“Yeah. Live. We got the news earlier today. We’re going to watch Gwen and Owen compete tomorrow.”
Heather put her hand on the doorknob of her bedroom door.
“I know you’re at the door, Heather.”
Heather retracted her hand. “I’m still not letting you in.”
“Look, girl,” Leshawna said, a relaxed, calmer tone sneaking into her voice. “I don’t want you crying all night. Whatever’s going on with you, I’ll help.”
Heather sighed. “Fine. You can come in.”
She couldn’t believe she was giving in. Leshawna was probably just there to make fun of her once she saw her. She had every reason to. Heather was a bitch to her all summer. And she just lost her hair. And the competition. All for nothing. Because of some dumbass loophole Chris came up with to fuck her over. She guessed it was karma. Maybe a bit of what she did was uncalled for. But in her defense, the first interaction she really had with Leshawna was a fight and getting thrown off a cliff. Things could only go downhill from there. It wasn’t her fault.
Heather opened the door.
Leshawna looked Heather up and down, and Heather regretted opening the door. She was stupid.
“You seriously haven’t shaved the rest of your hair yet?” Leshawna asked, arms folded.
“Just come inside,” Heather demanded. She couldn’t wait to shut the door so no one else had the possibility of seeing her like this.
Leshawna stepped inside and Heather closed the door. She walked to the bathroom, and Leshawna followed closely behind.
“I can’t do it,” Heather sighed in defeat. “I can’t cut my hair.”
“You cannot tell me you plan on walking around like this.” Leshawna picked a piece of her hair and swung it.
“I know, but my hair…” Heather began. “It’s my life. I’ve always had long hair. And now I don’t have any? I lost it all for nothing.”
“Look, Heather.” Leshawna turned towards Heather. Heather noticed this in the mirror and looked at Leshawna. “It sucks that this happened. I know you take pride in your looks. And hair means a lot to girls. But your hair isn’t everything. It’s just stuff that keeps your brain warm, or something like that. Harold told me that.”
“Harold is stupid. And you don’t even know how much my hair matters to me. You get to wear weaves and braids and wigs. I haven’t even seen your real hair. Whatever Harold said might be what it is to you, but that’s not how it is to me.”
“My hair does mean a lot to me,” Leshawna stated. “I take a lot of pride in it. I think it’s beautiful. There’s been a lot of points in my life when I wore it natural. Losing it would definitely hurt a lot. I get why you’re so upset.” She put a hand on Heather’s shoulder. “But the damage has been done. Your hair isn’t here now. And you have to learn how to love yourself without it.”
“Like you’ve ever had to do that.”
“I haven’t. I never lost my hair. But I had to learn to love myself with my hair.” Leshawna twirled her ponytail around in circles. “There’s a reason I wore a weave when I came here. People are ruthless. Especially straight-hair beauty queens like you. We’re in the same boat, just in opposite directions.”
Heather remained silent. She was going to be honest- she wasn’t innocent when it came to coming for the way other peoples’ hair looked. In elementary school, she knew a lot of girls with thick curly hair that they didn’t know how to take care of yet. She knew a lot of girls who had oily hair that they couldn’t wash enough. And girls with afros were no exception from her wrath.
“Plus,” Leshawna turned back to the mirror and Heather did the same, “you had this coming all summer.”
Heather sighed. “I did.”
Leshawna smirked. “I’m glad you’re taking accountability for your actions. Now, you have a choice.”
A look of confusion appeared on Heather’s face. She looked at Leshawna again.
“You can either look fear in the eyes, take your life into your own hands, say fuck you, and shave your hair off,” Leshawna began. Heather looked at the razor sitting on the opposite side of the bathroom counter. “Or, you can let fear take over you and let someone else do it for you. It’s your choice.”
Heather stared at the razor. She had to do it. She couldn’t let fear win. She worked so hard this entire season, and right now, she had nothing to show for it. Now she did. Now, she had the ability to give a giant middle finger to the people who made her younger self feel so horrible about the way she looked. She could give everything up right now. She could shave her hair, she could stop wearing makeup, she could wear whatever she wanted to. And she could learn to love herself whether she was an ugly doll or not.
What did it matter, anyways? Leshawna came to terms with the way she looked a long time ago. She learned to think she was beautiful no matter what anyone else said. And she was right. Leshawna was beautiful.
Heather was beautiful. Hair or no hair, she was beautiful.
She picked up the razor. Leshawna smiled.
“You got this, girl.”
Heather turned on the razor, and brought it to her scalp.
Ching.
A large piece of her hair fell to the floor.
Ching.
And another.
Ching.
And another.
The more hair that fell from her head and onto the white tiled floor, the more Leshawna’s smile grew. Heather couldn’t help but smile herself. This was her life. She was in charge. And right now, she was about to rock a clean-shaven head like God intended. And anyone who had anything to say about it, well, Heather had plans for them.
“Hell yes,” Leshawna grinned as the last of Heather’s hair fell to the ground.
Heather smiled back. “I think I can do this. It’s a fresh start.”
“Oh, and the lord knows we need it after this hell of a show.”
Heather was quiet for a moment, before diving in to give Leshawna a hug. She scrunched her eyes shut and tried to hold back the rest of her tears.
“Um…”
“Thanks, Leshawna,” Heather whispered. “I don’t think I could’ve done it without you.”
Heather pulled back, and Leshawna had a smaller, but warm smile on her face. “Of course.”
“This doesn’t change anything, right?” Heather asked.
“Nope,” Leshawna grinned. “You’re still Ms. Cheated her way to a Hundred-Thousand and Failed to me.”
“Good,” Heather wiped a singular tear from her eye. “You’re still the girl who threw me off a cliff on my first day of this show.”
“Great. Now, can you promise me to not cry tonight? I want to sleep.”
“Yeah,” Heather whispered. “Good night.”
“Good night.”
Pretzels (Trans Girl Noah Ficlet)
[request from anonymous asking for a fic about trans noah. sorry this is so short and you had to wait so long!]
11:52 PM.
Owen waited.
And waited.
“Nadia, where are you?” He muttered to himself.
Owen had planned with Nadia to meet at 11:45. Long after her family fell asleep. When they could be sure that everything was safe for Nadia to leave. Well, not safe, but unknown. So Owen could make sure everything was okay as soon as possible. Or… not okay. But hopefully okay.
There was a rustle nearby.
Owen turned as fast as possible, aiming his flashlight in the directions of the sound. Stumbling out of the bushes was Nadia.
“Nadia!” Owen exclaimed, running over to his friend and sweeping her up in a hug. “You scared me half to death! Finally! Where is your flashlight?”
“I was running late, chill big guy.” Owen let Nadia out of the hug. She fell to the ground and brushed herself off. “I kinda lost track of time.”
“Well…?” Owen began, nervous. “How did it go?”
Nadia smiled. “Surprisingly, really good. I mean, I didn’t expect it to go bad, but it went really good.”
“What all happened?”
“Well, I sat down with just my mom and told her first. She was surprised, but she immediately asked what I wanted my name to be and then if I wanted to tell my dad and my siblings. So, I did. And I think she’s just waiting for me to tell her I can come out to everyone else in the family too.” Nadia smiled. “And Ava asked if she could take me clothes shopping, because of course she did.”
Owen swallowed his friend in a hug again. “I’m so happy! I don’t have to deadname you around your parents anymore!”
“Yeah, somehow you’re even more happy than I am.”
“That’s not exactly fair, I’m always more happy than you are.”
“And I’m the one who just successfully came out.”
“And I’m best friends with the girl who just successfully came out.”
“You’re a dumbass sometimes.” Nadia rolled her eyes. “So. If you’re free next Saturday, you can come to the mall with Ava and I. I’m probably not going to wear most of the clothes we buy but whatever. I guess I could use a little more girly clothes. Still going to wear sweater vests constantly, though.”
“Yeah! Sounds fun. And I wouldn’t expect any less than a sweater vest.”
“You better not. I think the highlight of this occasion will be getting pretzels.”
“We’re getting pretzels?” Owen asked. “This is so on!”
Nadia snorted. “And I wouldn’t expect any less than you being mostly excited for pretzels.” She kicked the dirt. “But I do look forward to those. They are delicious.”
“See? You understand.”
“Yeah. Anyways, I should get home. Before someone realizes I’m gone. And before some freak out here sees us.”
“I guess.” Owen folded his arms. “See you next Saturday, then?”
“I’ll probably see you before then and you know it.”
“That’s true.”
Nadia smiled, and fell into her friend’s stomach, engulfing him in a hug. “Thanks for meeting me this late. I just knew I would want someone to talk to.”
“No problem! I wanted to sleep in peace knowing you were okay.”
Nadia pulled away from Owen. “Okay. Bye for real.”
“Bye!” Owen waved, running the opposite direction of Nadia. Nadia stood still for a moment before going back to her own house.
Something About Sadie is completed!
I really loved writing this fic and reading the comments, it was such a fun experience! This is probably my favorite fanfic that I've ever written. Sadie and Katie are like, my favorite characters now.
Thank you to all my readers! I love you all, you're so sweet!
Now that this is done, I'm probably going to move back to oneshots. I have a few ideas for some miscellaneous ships, as well as for other fandoms, so I have that to look forward to! But of course, school's in session so I'll have way less time, plus I have to write for my school's writing team. But I promise I'll keep posting fanfiction!
So, thank you for reading, everyone who did!
