It just makes a lot of sense why Marcille and Laios would be good friends, really, because Marcille Will Tell You What Is On Her Mind. If she doesn't like something, she throws a tantrum. If she's down to clown, she clowns like a champ. If she has an opinion, she voices it clearly and concisely. Laios knows exactly where Marcille stands in pretty much every topic.

On Marcille's end, she's down to clown more than people give her credit for. Laios said "yo let's play with these bones and rearrange them in funny ways" and Marcille joined right in. Like, yeah, she'll want to bonk his skull in sometimes, but aside from the monster and dungeon (well, she does have this one, just differently) fascination, she's pretty much in the same wavelength as Laios when it comes to most things.

Which is cool! Because they could've made them hostile siblings in law but they are besties actually.

Something I love about merlin fanfiction are the 24/7 always on call ol reliable bands of bandits and mercenaries constantly roaming every inch of albion forest, at your service should you need a sudden contrivance for some bamf, whump or angst. Why do they keep risking their lives by attacking strangers with no prospects of personal gain you ask? I say who are you to judge a ragtag team of no-names for their utter devotion to serving up dramatic plot points and developing the main characters' relationships purely out of the goodness of their hearts. True allies will fight you to the death so that you will get the chance to prove the true depths of your devotion. Braver than the troops if ever I saw it

Something that takes me out like no other every time it appears in orv is when we get evidence of how... optimistic? Yjh is? I mean considering the situation hes in. When you first meet him you really get the impression that he's the type to be driven by logic above all else, or at least anger if anything, but the more you get to know him the more obvious it is that he's driven Entirely by emotion. He is weirdly trusting for someone who has been betrayed, especially, as op said, SO RECENTLY! I think he craves connection deeply and something in kdj made him think he could have that... maybe for the same reason he initially trusted anna croft. He never learns. He's motivated by his desires. In many ways he is the opposite of Kim Dokja, and yet paradoxically, I think we all know who's more likely to be called "selfish"... hm

its actually VERY STRANGE that the 'you need me for the 46th scenerio' line actually works out for kdj. like that may be the single worst thing you could say to freshly regressed, 3rd round yoo joonghyuk. during the last round a prophet betrayed him during the 46th scenerio, made him a slave, caused his whole family to die, and lead to his presumably violent death, which happened LIKE AN HOUR AGO. you're invoking that image to make him trust you??
