Jungkook's concept photos literally have no concept lol.

I mean look at jimin's photos for face.... That's what you call concept photos. It's related to the album. It's telling the concept of the album.

He copied some of jimin's photos and I'm pretty sure it's because he liked the aesthetic and not because he wants to send some signal to jikookers lol.

All his concept photos are just for the aesthetics. It's all over the place. It's not telling any story. Everything about jungkook in chapter 2 lacks depth. He as a person lacks depth.

And the thing is even if the photos are just for the aesthetics it's not even looking good. It's just bland. There's literally nothing going on. It looks like the yesterday's concept photos are not related to the ones from today. Like idk even know what's going on.

They just seem like bunch of photos with no relation to the album.

Or maybe the album too has no meaning or concept that's why the concept photos are just so.... Random.

In light of Jungkook's possible girlfriend or whatever, I'd like to get off my chest something controversial that I've been thinking for a while. We, female presenting people, have all had negative experiences with men in our lives, so as fans of male artists, sometimes we tend to put those artists on a pedestal.

We think these artists are so much better than the men in our own lives, but so often this isn't the case. Men of all industries, especially young, rich, famous, hot men, who are attracted to women, more often than not go thru women like a kid goes thru candies.

And there're always plenty of women willing and ready to be with those men, because duh, they're hot, rich and famous. Of course, exceptions exist, but famous, committed, faithful, and heterosexual/attracted to women in general men are much less common than the alternative. We may love our aristits, but we dont put them on a pedestal. After all, they're still men.

I'm not saying it is Jungkook in that video, nor that it isn't or what his personal relationship with women look like, but it's very important to remember that we don't actually know this people. We have our impressions and images of them, but there's a lot we'll never see and know.

HATED this scene! Like still in high school Jere is sitting there struggling with the bills and taking care of his mom, watching her fade away everyday, and Conrad wants to talk about Belly? That's what's important in that exact moment? And for Conrad to sit there and tell Jeremiah how he wants to be with Belly made me scream with frustration. Jere has feelings for her too!! Why are yours more important? And asking if Jere took a date to Homecoming, like that magically meant he was over Belly was ridiculous. Then Conrad telling him that he loves Belly but they don't want Jere to hate them, it was too much. It's like all Conrad wanted to hear was that Jeremiah was “okay” with it, but we all know he was going to do it either way.

Speak your truth, anon. But let's be completely real, Jimin gets hated for literally anything. He's become the punching bag of the fandom and K-pop fans.

Don't even get me started on Seven. It's very telling that people are so reluctant to admit that that song and Jungkook are getting the biggest push by the company so far (in terms of solo ventures). You can support the song, yeah, but at least have some decency and admit what's going on. They dragged other groups and even Jimin for a fraction of the things that Jungkook is getting now, so why the sudden silence? I'm not saying that we hate Jungkook (though I don't think he's a victim), but at least be fair and call things out.

In terms of shipping, I have so many conflicting thoughts, obviously. Jikook might be real, yeah, but I'd rather not ship them anymore. I think it's best for me to just leave that to the people who are passionate about it. It's not fun for me anymore.

Jikookers with a Jk bias are the ones who don't see the difference in treatment between FACE and Seven. And they keep praising how well Seven is doing. But they were there celebrating Jimin's numbers on the charts.

Talk about using Jimin as a shipping accessory.

But when I expressed how disrespectful to Jimin's artistic integrity it was that Jk used Jimin's FACE concepts instead of making up a whole romantic "I am you. You are me" narrative like the common taekooker, I was the bad jikooker.

I'm glad Jeremiah finally exploded and told Belly exactly how he was feeling. He was so angry and upset and he needed to vent. He had kept it in long enough. He had been hurt and he needed her to know that because, once again, it seems so easy for the people in his life to act like Jeremiah’s feelings aren't important at all. The fact that “everyone” just expected him to act like he was a-okay with Belly now being with Conrad was just sickening to me.

I'm sorry, but another scene that made me rage punch my pillow. It's great that his mom is so happy that Belly is his girlfriend. My thing is did she check on her other son? You know the one that had been brushed aside by the same exact girl? Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot that their mother could only see that Conrad liked Belly last season. Guess she completely missed the longing stares and heart eyes Jere threw her way every single time he looked at her last summer. Guess she only had that momma ESP when it came to her precious Conrad. More actual proof that Jermiah’s family doesn't give two flying f*cks about his feelings and that is not only sad, but extremely messed up.

I'm sorry, but I can't believe how selfish Belly was in this scene. She knew Jeremiah was still pissed at her during Susannah’s funeral, but she managed to get him to open up a little bit. He agreed to let her bring him up some food while he escaped the suffocating misery and went up to his room. And what does Belly do? She completely (once again) forgets all about him because she saw her ex boyfriend (Conrad) with his ex girlfriend. She threw a whole embarrassing tantrum in the middle of a freaking funeral of someone like family because a boy who had ditched her at her own prom was talking to another girl. I swear I screamed out loud with anger and frustration. When will someone in that freaking group ever care about Jeremiah and what he's going through?

Omg. Jk has been giving me mixed signals eversince he released seven. It's like there's a spark but the wires are not connecting cause wtf. Okay so before jimin got number one on the BB I bet nobody ever dreamt of it or even thought it was possible even jimin himself he never aimed for the billboard he just wanted to release music but it just happened to happen that every song he released this year charts on the BB. Like how am I going to say this... I just don't know what's wrong with him lately he's like a rookie that just got fame and now is letting it change him. Like I know there's no problem whatsoever when a person wants to chart on the BB I mean that's ever artist's dream but...

Like what do you mean by that. Jk already know that, that position is already secured scooter already payed the money we know. The members have been acting fishy during the second chapter. If it's not Tae distancing himself from the group it's RM and acting bitter sometimes and well yoongi then now jk who's suddenly became chart obsessed it's like he tryna be the Beyonce of the group or something. I literally don't want to hate him but lowrdddd he's pushing me lowrdddd. It's like he tryna prove he's the golden goose and no-one can outdo him. I was irked about this too. This is “you are me, i am you” taken to unreasonable levels. Jimin remarking on Jungkook’s tendency to copy him seems much less funny after all the Seven stuff. The coincidences are all so uncanny too? They don’t make much sense to me since FACE and Seven have pretty different themes so why do the visuals look practically the same???

Even if you consider this in a ‘romantic’ sense, what is JK trying to achieve? What ‘romantic’ message is he trying to send? If this clatant copying is JK trying to support FACE, then he should have congratulated JM publicly on social media after the album or after the BB#1 instead of watching his content on Weverse (a platform that is mostly used by ARMY and kpop stans who would have already heard JM’s stuff anyways). 

A negative but much more reasonable take on this is that JM’s work found success, the company obviously kept tabs on that, and JK was definitely watching a lot of JM’s work. Whether it was the company making these decisions because they found LC/FACE stuff worked or whether it was JK just defaulting to the inspiration he got from watching JM’s content, this stuff is still inorganic. 

When looking at the instnaces over the years where JM has brought up this tendency of JK’s, he’s definitely sought for acknowledgment from JK on the recurrent copying. It was delivered jokingly, but also, on some level in a serious manner. You can love someone, but also love your individuality. I’m not going to speak too much on what JM feels on this becuase aside from these instances, and with the current radio silence, I really don’t have much to go on to make any well-formulated oppinions on JM’s feelings.

Because this is like copying homework and paraphrasing it. Some people say there are no similarities, but the first thing that came to mind when I saw these was the concept of FACE. And not his fans saying this is a manlier version of face 💀. Why would you have a manlier version of someones ideas and story. Hiii stormie my dear, how are you? first of all, i wanted to say that i adore your blog and i think u are a breath of fresh air here. Thank you! Because i trust u, I wanted to say some things im thinking about since seven released, i hope u dont mind.

Ok, like jk says: lets get it! Right, I do understand people feeling sad about jimin and face era. It was awful how sabotaged he was, and i still dont get what really happened and i'm mad to whatever or whoever is responsible for it. But i'm seeing so many people doubting the veracity in jungkookie's success with seven and i'm hating it. I dont think the song is getting payola, nor playlists by paying for it and neither ads on youtube. First, the song was sent to radios, but just a few of them r playing it, one of them being a guy who loves to plays "k-pop" songs. If there was payola, it would be playing everywhere all the time already. The playlist thing: just like "like crazy eng. ver", seven entered the Today's Top Hits playlist. But at #23 place. I just saw a tweet by a guy talking about this: https://twitter.com/cantorpedia/status/1680258574688088066?s=20. We know that there's some shady thing happening in this playlist for a while, and if seven have deals to get this high debut numbers, it would had debuted at the top in the playlist, even in the cover (it may go up next week, because there is supposed to be some internal logic that the more a song receives streams IN the playlist, the more it rises). Also, seven had a huge filtering in spotify, just like all BTS' songs, which also shows that they r not making deals. Now, about Youtube ads... i saw a person posting a ss about seeing an ad of the song, but apparently is fake.

Seven is doing AWESOME numbers because: its a english catchy song, with a cute mv, sang by THEE Jeon Jungkook. Im not joking, seven is really a gp success.. yesterday i saw 3 people from my daily life and inner circle talking about loving the song. My sister, who is not an army, said that she listened to the song all day while i was not home. Gp is loving it. So they did with butter (which is a eng song too), but Seven has a differential: the clean and explict version r being counted combined. Plus, seven is doing awesome everywhere, even in korean charts.

If there was something shady going on, i dont think they would make more than 1 version for the song, even on youtube (there is a new perfomance video for the explict ver). They would just send to radios and count on the payola and the deals w spotify, tiktok, youtube, for the charts (thats what most western artists does). But since billboard started filtering the songs so much so that made like crazy drop from 1 to 45 in a week and then stopped counting digital versions from usa based artist stores, BTS had to start making available to fans different versions of the same song because they know they cant count on radio, but can count on the sales and streams. Since Like Crazy, i feel like Hybe is experimenting ways of overcoming the sabotage by the industry.

The thing is, i think we can and should talk and raise questions about how jimin was treated badly, in every chart and streaming platform. For example, views from youtube were not being frozen in Yoongi's songs too, just like jk's. So, its not a privilege that jk is receiving, its just that something was really happening with face promotions, who knows what and why. But that was not jk's or any member fault.

Anyway, i'm happy for jk and i know much more is coming his way. And i cant wait for jimin to make a new comeback soon too. I hope it all goes well yk, Jimin deserves the best in his promotions just like jk and the other members. Lets hope. I'm sorry for hijacking your tumblr for this rant, im hoping u have some thoughts on the subject

Rant shared. I shared my thoughts about most of this a few weeks ago, I'm sure anyone who wants to can still scroll to go find it all, I'm not *really* wanting to open it all back up for discussion again. People are VILE honestly. I enjoy the song, it's fun, it's not much more than that and it's clearly made to be a western audience radio hit.
