West Yorkshire's first community pub celebrates tenth birthday

Stockport schoolchildren bury 2024 time capsule
Pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Stockport buried a time capsule to remain underground until 2124. The project was done in collaboration with Vernon Building Society, who turn 100 this year. The capsule was buried in the school’s peace garden to give school children in 2124 a fascinating historic cache of what life was like in Greater Manchester in 2024.
