Or any food service. or retail.” he mentioned. though his side job did involve assholes, but he wasn’t going to mention that at all.  “if i was her, i’d have just snuck my own snack in. are you allowed to do that?”

“–and y’know, i really wanted to tell this lady to go fuck herself at this point. like, why is she getting in my face and yelling about how the chicken nuggets are overpriced? does she think that i’m the one who sets the food prices for all of the disney parks? obviously not.” lucy shook her head with a snort, bringing her cigarette to her lips to take a deep drag. “besides, what the hell do you expect? like, you’re at disney world, sweetheart– it’s the biggest tourist trap on the planet. but anyway. i was on the clock, and she had two kids with her, so i couldn’t actually tell her to get fucked. i was just like, sorry, m’am, but do you still want to buy the nuggets? and then she got mad at that! like, honestly, what do you want me to say?”

Noah wasn’t one to go into other’s people business but the door was cracked open and then he heard a crash. "Hey mate.” He said softly as he slowly walked into the room. “Are you doing alright?”

“Fuck,” Ezra growled out as he picked out the photo frame of him and his brother and threw across the room. He looked down at his hand before he clenched his hand tightly as the tremors started again.

“I’m doing okay. Had to take some extra shifts cause I went home to visit the family last week. Gran on our non-related side was ill but she pulled through.” he said in response. “Josephine but she only responds to Joey. Sweet girl is a bit pissed at me cause i left but I left but I’m spoiling her with treats. 

Nicole nodded. “Right, right, I know the feeling,” she said, relating his warm experience to spending all day every day out in the blazing Orlando sun. “I’ve been good!” she said with a smile. “How about you? How’s your dog? What’s her name again?”

a small smile found it’s way to noah’s lips. it was obviously still a bit awkward, with their history and all, but it could have been worse and noah was grateful it wasn’t. “sure.why not. surprise me.” he said in response. “so... uh, how’ve you been?” he said, trying to start up some conversation. “it looks like life has been treating you fairly well.”

“ Yeah, I’d like that. ” Sofia’s eyes finally stood on the male’s for longer than just a couple of seconds as she took a deep breath, trying to curve her lips as in a reassurance to herself. Her voice hasn’t come off as settled as she’d want it to from the fact she wasn’t still sure she wanted to do it. Conversations where she had to talk about her feelings scared her more than she’d like to admit.·“ Hum…Do you want a drink? ” She questioned first, reaching for a glass already for herself, she sure needed it.
