This is probably a hot take but I hate Transformers: Animated Megop, it makes no sense they have no chemistry, no history together, their is even a huge age gap considering Megatron is Ultra Magnus’s age who is Optimus’s father figure.

Especially when there are two other options to ship tfa Optimus with in which they do have a past history and chemistry and they’re the same age as each other

Dipping my toes into both tf prime and earthspark has created... Ideas.

Like earthspark breakdown finally reuniting with knockout after the war only to discover he's been trapped in vehicle mode and can't even communicate anymore.

Why is KO trapped? Who knows. Maybe someone forcefully removed his tcog or he's in the cybertronian equivalent of a coma, or there's some other thing that's kept him locked in it long term.

Whatever the explanation, Breakdown reacts accordingly. Either going on a violent rampage or going into vehicle mode himself and staying by Knockouts side until it can be reversed. Maybe even both! 💔
