Another tune today folks because it's been stuck in my head the whole week.
Took me ages to get into this, was always a general fan of the band but now I Am Damo Suzuki. Fer thee sake of future days!

Tune today is a personal one, Dexys Burn It Down.
Growing up it was immense to hear a dude on tape be so enamoured with Irish literature, something that was still unfortunately not taught as much it should have been to me. Hearing a fella listing off these fabulous authors with a subdued hatred that they were so pushed down was mind expanding to myself as a waine.
Shut it You don't understand it
Shut it That's not the way I planned it
Shut your fucking mouth 'til you know the truth
Oscar Wilde and Brendan Behan
Sean O'Casey, George Bernard Shaw
Samuel Beckett, Eugene O'Neill
Edna O'Brien and Laurence Sterne
Sean Kavanaugh and Sean McCann
Benedict Keilly, Jimmy Hiney
Frank O'Connor and Catherine Rhine

Joe Walsh eternally the coolest Eagle and seemingly the only one capable of writing a decent melody to save his life. Shpuds.

Michael Bay of the Day:
Wall-to-Wall Empty Cans by the Streets
The moment the tape rewinds and Mike gets a second chance to try and turn things around is top five music moments tbh, magical, fantabulous.
