Recently learned that the color of the vest and tie Arthur wears during the Saint Denis ferry gambling mission changes depending on if you have high or low honor (blue for high and red for low) so now i am obsessed with the idea that the prominence of the colors red and blue on certain gang member’s outfit also reflects their honor level.

Whittemore variants versus Arthur’s default outfit, which doesn’t have a scrap of red on it, however no matter what his blue shirt is always fucking dirty and stained. And remember the gang criticizes you if you have blood all over you.

Hosea wears the blue vest (sometimes brown) but he generally has his red neckerchief on, but he also owns a red and black scarf. Mostly good but a little bit of bad.

Red is prominently featured on Micah. His entire shirt is red and he’s usually wearing his jacket like he’s disguising his nature. Even the the grips on his guns have red. And when you rescue him from Strawberry he does not have his coat.

Dutch is the most interesting to me. He has the checkered red scarf which he rarely wears and the red pocket square over his heart. Only the back of his vest is red, like he’s in denial about it, or that it’s only possible to see who he is when he isn’t facing you and putting on a show. Meanwhile on guarma his vest is suddenly reversed!

When Hosea is killed he is wearing a completely different outfit with a blue vest and absolutely no red, and both Milton and Dutch are covered in red!

I don't know if you realise the level of displacement that the people of Gaza are facing at the hands of Israel right now.

Take Rafah for example, which is in the most southern part of Gaza, it used to be one of the most densely populated areas with over 300,000 Palestinians living there before the start of the aggression. Now, following three months of forcible evacuation and terror by Israel (remember this map?), the number of people living in Rafah went from 300,000 to 1,300,000, some reporting that half of all of Gaza's population is now condensed in Rafah.

A reporter was describing how not even a single sidewalk is vacant. People are everywhere, yet there is practically no place to live. This of course comes with severe health risks with diseases spreading rapidly, as well as humanitarian risks with no adequate shelter, access to water (Gazans were saying water comes on once every ten days in Rafah), electricity, food or fuel.

But then again, those who are currently displaced have no way to know when or if they are ever going to go back to their homes as Israel destroyed about 70% of homes in Gaza. Additionally, and according to UN reports, due to the insane amount of destruction caused by Israeli bombardment in Gza, it is likely going to take between 7 and 10 years just to rebuild destroyed homes, let alone infrastructure.

Bisan showed yesterday how people have set up their tents in Rafah and it is honestly terrifying to see. All I could think of while watching her video is that the way older Palestinian women would describe their tents following the Nakba is the exact same way these displaced Palestinians are describing theirs 75 years later.

This displacement has obviously always been deliberate as Israeli officials openly declare, and it is also intended to be long term. Displacement doesn't only mean being forcibly removed from your house, but it also means being removed from your community and land and all the significance they hold. This fragmentation of identity is something Israel has been keen on since its inception as a colonial state built on ethnic cleansing.

A Mini Analysis On The Stardew Love Interests

I like to group the Stardew love interests (and love interests in the media in general) into two groups. External Love Interests (ELI) and Internal Love Interests (ILI).

ELI's grow closer to the Farmer through the Farmer solving an external problem of theirs. The Love Interest does not change when the problem is solved, though public opinion of them may change. A good example of ELI's is Sam. His problem is his band. By solving the problem, he grows closer to Farmer. He doesn't change at all. What you see is what you get. He's still a lovable idiot. Another example of an ELI is Leah.

ILI's grow closer to the Farmer through the Farmer helping them solve an internal (emotional) problem of theirs. They usually change their personality. Shane is the poster child of ILI's. Farmer helps his depression and they grow closer. His personality changes dramatically throughout your relationship. Another example of an ILI is Alex

Now, of course this is not an end all be all. Not every love interest will fall into a perfect mold. Most of them fall into both groups in one way or another. Some don't even have a problem. This is just a trend I found that I put way too much time into.

when Sam was still a kid, Jodi would dote on his every whim whenever he was sick enough to have a fever and you can bet that, even now, she still does

so best believe that Sam acts a little spoiled when he's feverish

he'll refuse to do anything for himself, is constantly whining for soup, and ask for even more cuddles than he usually does (forgetting he can get you sick, too)

that being said, as an adult with a fever, he knows you're super busy with your farm work, so while he may whine about needing extra attention, he's not going to force you to stay while you're busy

he'll just pout and try to sleep the fever away

absolutely will refuse any and every medicine if it comes in liquid form

whether he be the one riding it or he be the one pushing it, Sam loved this classic yet dangerous playground attraction

when he was the one pushing, of course he would listen to the other kids on how fast they wanted to go; even as a child he was pretty considerate

when he was the one riding however, he would ask the other kids to spin him as fast as humanly possible

sometimes he would lay back and just watch the clouds above spinning faster than his eyes could track; sometimes he would try to launch himself off to experience flight

Jodi stopped letting him go on merry-go-rounds when he simultaneously broke his arm and puked after jumping off of one

🚬 do they have any bad habits?

it's a bad habit that he picked up while he lived in the city: spitting his gum out onto the sidewalk/grass

everyone did it back in the city, so he thought it was just a normal thing to do

the first time he got some really bad scoldings from Lewis for spitting his gum out in the Town Square, he was so confused

he doesn't do it anymore, but unfortunately he's replaced it with an even worse habit if there are no trashcans nearby...

now he just swallows it

watching really cheesy soap operas on TV

it's a hobby he shares with him mom because she was the one who started playing them on the TV while she was bored at home

for a really long time Sam thought soap operas were peak acting

he definitely carries this hobby over when he moves onto the farm with you; the house always has the sounds of crying soap opera actresses

"Fernando, why would you treat Isabella so horribly?! All she wanted to do was love you!" he'll sob to you about Fernando's betrayal for weeks
