                 ‘you must eat,’ troki murmurs, approaching him with furrowed brows. ever since the sky people had come back from mount weather, she'd noticed that he’d mostly been alone -- and considering troki knows what that’s like, she plans on staying with him until she’s satisfied that he’s okay. ‘i made this -- it is good.’ and it does look good -- it’s a steaming meat and vedge stew.

          ‘is it clean water?’ there’s no harm in asking, after all. troki’s people substitute water for alcohol a lot -- not out of preference, but because it’s safer. her mother has helped the ormiti with hygiene, though, and especially farming. used to live on argo station and all. ‘but -- please. yes.’
