you're getting distracted again. focus.
drink a cup of water, tie your hair up, pull on your comfiest clothes, get your desk clean and ready, print out past papers, set your notes out, turn your laptop on, turn off all distractions, take out your stationary, open your books, take a deep breath, and just start.

varies inversely with gust effect/ beguiled by lull refining the clutter with downbeats/ enough to create monotony among foliage's irregular geometries - how i paint my courage with scientific metaphors
elements of my physique/ connected by nodes - no trace of instability/ but this stiffness doesn't suffice my lift
cotton's floating/ paddling with low pressure/ perks of its thin, soft and delicate features/ catching the attention of air without begging for it - how easy it is to be a cotton; daunts my soulless breath
and so i try this clap and fling/ converge my wings/ attract the air to localize itself/ fill the voids spanning between separation of my pinions - oh my first flight!

Lest a pervious layer
can sate itself with
rain’s balmy whip –
etches blithely all over
as its bonds loosen up;
aurora streaks
the scent of rain and
midnight mimics its sound
of intermittent falling –
a newfound onomatopoeia
just for you

Earliest prowling,
in the wee hours
when soft pollen grains eddied
around the cavernous slumber
of reigning sun -
lambent superstructure,
a ruling class inhabiting
with the ideology of
incapable humans-
yet bragging rights
bestowed upon by
postulated natural
selection,
she was my prey,
a strange kind of victim;
that made her want to be seized,
she used to be my muse during day,
hid at the back of calm rivulet,
one could draw from non-uniformities
of my abstract -
an allegory, if construed
could alienate her from the world
cold, soulful night
and so i indicted;
but i stayed, waited for
what this night could give,
oh…the craters
harrowed by dripping aches
from yesterday’s hurricanes,
or by shrouded hopes
from wild ricochet triggered
by doubtful mouths of today,
I loved her even more,
the moon that gave sympathy

Lily’s multiplying, drifting-merging, motion’s principle. insect’s striding idly - surface tension’s phenomenon, faking this river, too active to be dead.

Speck of rippling pinches,
stirring up my very core –
warmth fueling the fire
from surface to in-depth
analogies chasing the gaps
as fast as it’s being pulled
by a blackhole
for it’s meant for something
it has been rooting for
when you introduce love to me
it seems everything is becoming its
true form
revealing recklessly as if fear
has no name -
“beautifully reckless”
and so truly
I am meant for you,
like how heat sustains the fire ~
and yet fire picks the soot

Thriving is the derangement of senses -
a reprise of old soul’s hymn,
a pendulum in an ideal state
oft baited by unlit cigar and corked wine,
a rapture; can’t get enough -
sober all night; you’re abstract to me,
natheless, a totem that eventually
stops spinning
I’m dreaming of you again,
for the nth time,
an eclipse to my soul
that I devour,
I devour more of you,
more of you
that I become
foreign within;

An ode to a stoic,
who sleeps off a nightly cringe -
cursing the soulless
sympathy of the moon
and inhumane solace
of the stars
and when morning comes,
his brokenness
blithely bathes in
gentle radiance of his
warm greetings,
when inside him, he weeps,
“Oh pain being amorphous
in nature, and yet can hurt me
as if you are shaped like bullet.”
