A Grand Finale
Well, a grand Mccolley's Finale philodendron anyhow. This bright cinnamon red leaf is gorgeous and just in time for a week of 30°C days. Don't you just love a grand leafy gesture?

Merry Pink-mas!
After almost a year, my philodendron pink princess has finally put out a healthy, fully unfurled pink variegated leaf, and it is GORGEOUS! 😍 There was another variegated leaf earlier last month (you can sort of see it lower down on the plant) but it never really unfurled fully. Hopefully this means many more pink leaves!

Stay Gold
Especially if you're a marigold (or Tagetes erecta, according to Google Lens). You just have to love those big, bold, bright colours. It just makes me so happy! Unfortunately I've forgotten the variety name, so I'd appreciate any guidance. Or, just enjoy this gorgeous sunshiny beauty!

Orange You Glad to See Me
Very much so, yes!! I'd almost given up on this philodendron Prince of Orange when the main stem died over winter. Thankfully life finds a way and come the warmer months this beautiful baby leaf developed!

Being Social
Just a li'll ol' silver squill (ledebouria socials) hanging out with some molded wax agve (echeveria agavoides or lipstick echeveria). It's almost summer here and the sun's out, so why not?

Get in Line
With the Philodendron Birkin, that is! With leaves that start off looking like reverse scratch art before slowly turning fully green, it's difficult to argue with this phil about respecting those lines. 🌿

Silver Lining
Today is brought to you by Alocasia Silver Dragon. More specifically, the underneath of this beautiful mature leaf showing off its delicate purple veins contrasted against a silvery green base. 😍
Keep your chins up, and remember there's always a silver lining. ❤️

Dragons Are Real
Today is brought to you by a new leaf on Alocasia Silver Dragon. This new baby is still a vibrant light green, but I'm excited to see it grow into its rich silvery/dark green colours.

So Jaded
Today is brought to you by Portulacaria Afra or the Dwarf Jade Plant or Elephant Bush. ❤️ It's been a grey couple of days, what with the change in weather and all, but good ol' Jade here just keeps standing tall and bright.

Finding My Feet
Today is brought to you by a single Peperomia Rossa leaf. I accidentally dislodged it from the main plant and thought I might as well experiment and try a leaf propagation. Lo and behold! Tiny roots!
It's a strange new time we live in, and inevitably tensions rise and we get under each other's skins. We're all trying to get used to this new normal, so let's try to be patient with one another, and help find our feet together.
