He put together a Machiavellian plot to topple a power structure. He forgot to check if the person he shot was actually dead. He’s smart enough to know that a securitron would be useful. He’s dumb enough to double cross the person who reprogrammed said securitron.

the most egregious part about how much fallout 4 utterly fails to make you care about the sole survivor’s family is that games constantly do make you care. like. it’s a well known thing for gamers to get extremely attached to a young main character that you’re put in a protective role over. fallout just sucks at it
