THANKS 2023 //

I thought I would sign off the year … not with a review of the past 12 months , but a look forward to one of the pieces I WILL finish in 2024!

It needs alot more work.

But in 2023, I felt I couldn’t go any further with it.

I was really pleased with the first etch ( line drawing)

However, I felt like I would just ruin it if I carried on.

I have made a few steps forward and what feels like alot more than a few steps backward in 2023.

In any case

Thank you so much for following my drawing & scribbles (in pen, tattoo ink or print)

Thank you for your ongoing kindness …. with your eyes, comments or scrolling time.

Thank you to everyone who commissioned a drawing, asked for a quote or said hello.

Thanks to all other artists for your beautiful work, encouragement , sharing your processes & the odd bit of helpful troubleshooting!

You lovely lot.

This design is inspired by symbolism

The koi fish has a powerful and energetic life force, demonstrated by its ability to swim against currents and even travel upstream. Therefore it is associated with perseverance in adversity.

The client chose to have the koi swimming down.

It features many personal symbols, for example ones associated with the clients birthdate or struggles.

It wraps to join (At the diamond shape)

NEW FLASH | CADUCEUS 2

The design features stylised snakes with geometric shapes & staff wings.

The Metatron’s Cube is a name for a geometric figure based on 13 equal circles. With lines from the centre of each circle, extending out to the centres of the other 12 circles. It contains every shape that exists within the universe.
