absolutely insidious and honestly a betrayal when queer creatives call any piece of queer media without sex in it as revolutionary and better than media that contains it and implies that portraying gay people having sex is somehow fetishistic.

you can absolutely have pg rated queer media aimed at a younger audience without acting like a conservative christian over adult queer media. things have ratings for a reason. respectfully… shut the hell up.

in recent events of that zoo losing the clouded leopard, it reminded me of the time i went to a large petting zoo and there was a free roaming little black sheep. cutest little guy i ever saw, soi went to the zookeeper nearby and said ‘i think its really cute how you have a sheep thats allowed to just walk around. ‘ then the zookeepers eyes widened and he grabbed his walky talky and ran

Just finished The Makanai: Cooking for the Maiko house. It was the cutest thing I've watched in ages.

So soft. So warm. Such nostalgic vibes as well. If you watch the trailer and like it, you will definitely enjoy the actual show.

I hope there’s an afterlife so that whoever made this pot 2,000 years ago can brag that their cookware is so good it’s still usable literally millennia later. Something about this object being lost for centuries and then rediscovered, and being put (successfully) to its original purpose again is so pleasing to me.
