Agree wholeheartedly
Very unconvinced that a kiss wasnât filmed. Itâs out there, definitely, but they rewrote the ending to accommodate the new fucking spin-off. Even my husband, a non Caryl believer, agrees that a kiss was filmed, but they had to rewrite it. Pretty convinced Iâll be 50 by the time it is released goddddd

I firmly believe there was supposed to be a kiss at the âI love youâ moment â¤ď¸
I think Carols little laugh was a âoh god, you say this and youâre leaving.â Laugh.
This was a beautiful story that changed my life, and no matter how desperately I wish it had ended differently, I love them.

Hoppers love language is hugging that person and nuzzling his nose into their hair. Argue with the wall.

Jopper Highschool headcannon
Need you to trust me on this one. Itâs longwinded but stick with it I beg you.
Okay so we know Joyce and Hopper smoked together in highschool so we can assume they were a bit older when they did this but apart from this thereâs no other real reference to their time at highschool together / their assumed friendship.
⌠so what if they werenât really friends?
What if Lonnie and Hopper were friends?
And Joyce being Lonnieâs girlfriend, she began hanging out with their group a lot (like how Nancy hung out with Steveâs group back in s1). Hopper was popular but a bit more quiet and laid back than the rest of his friends. Joyce was well known, but not âinâ the popular crowd- quite an artsy and likeable girl. After school one day Lonnies group were stood around smoking like they usually were before leaving and Joyce comes over find to her boyfriend to get a ride home but Lonnie is off somewhere else, like in detention or whatever and heâs forgot to tell Joyce that he wonât be around to take her home. The other boys laugh a bit but Hopper doesnât. He instead offers her a cigarette. She takes one and he lights it, and they stand smoking. The other boys and their girlfriend all slowly leave, leaving only Hopper and Joyce smoking together âwaiting for Lonnieâ in a comfortable silence. After a while Hopper turns to Joyce and says âyou know, heâs probably going to be in there another hour or so. I can drop you home if youâre just waiting for him for a ride.â
Joyce, annoyed that Lonnie didnât tell her that he wouldnât be around, takes him up on the offer and Hopper drives Joyce home. After that Joyce starts talking to Hopper more whenever she runs into him and although they donât have many classes together, they share the same free study period that no one else seems to have so they sit in the library together, or outside on Hoppers car, or just share a cigarette outside. Hopper realises he has a fat crush but obviously doesnât do anything about because thatâs his FRIENDS girlfriend and obviously she doesnât feel the same. He enjoys the time they spend together but the closer he gets with Joyce the more he feels himself drifting away from Lonnie and their group. He realises that Lonnie is actually a really shitty person and he treats Joyce quite horribly too- always leaving her high and dry at parties he would drag her to, making her the but of the joke when she would stand with them, talking about her really crudely when she wasnât there. Hopper hated it.
One day Lonnie says something about Joyce and Hopper has enough. He just puts out his cigarette and walks away, deciding there and then to cut ties with them. Lonnie follows and confronts him. They argue and Hopper says that he shouldnât be talking about Joyce that way. Lonnie accuses Hopper of liking his girlfriend, and asking what they really get up to in their study periods. They fight, they get physical, someone breaks it up. Hopper never hangs out with them again and becomes a bit of a lone wolf type of guy (maybe becomes friends with Bennie). He avoids Joyce for a couple of weeks, knowing that Lonnie has probably spun her a story about how Hopper has a crush on her so they got into a fight, and although that isnât technically wrong, he doesnât want to tell Joyce all the things Lonnie has been saying about her and he certainly doesnât want to admit WHY it makes him so mad.
But Joyce being Joyce, she corners Hopper while heâs smoking under the bleachers and confronts him, demanding to know why heâs been avoiding her and saying âI thought we were friends, Hop?!? And you suddenly decide to start ignoring me?! You owe me an explaination at the very least.â And Hopper being just as stubborn as he is now, just shrugs, and Joyce storms away.
And thatâs where Joyce and Hopper part ways in their final year of highschool :(

I miss Carol and Daryl.
I miss being excited to see them on my screen instead of fearing what might happen.
I miss that unspoken thing between them that lit up my tv every time they were together, begging to finally be spoken, and wondering if this time, in this episode, it will be.
I miss the teasing and the banter, all those scenes that made me smile and want to replay them again and again.
I miss that feeling I got every time Iâd see them together (before they started ignoring each other or fighting and never resolving it). Itâs the kind of electric excitement that only happens when the chemistry between two people is so off the charts it jumps through the screen and makes your nerves tingle.
I miss how happy I was about the spin off. How excited we all were to have a whole show dedicated to the last original two, the soulmates who survived it all and finally decided to head west together on an adventure of their own choosing.
I miss the days when the writers, showrunners and whoever is ultimately in charge, knew they had lightening in a bottle with these two and treated them accordingly.
I miss the hope I had for a happy ending thatâs been earned a hundred times over.
I miss the awesome people I met in this fandom, because we all love these characters, who arenât active anymore because the show burned them one too many times. I hope wherever you guys are, that youâre doing well.
I just miss Caryl. A lot.Â

THIS IS SO HARD.
As much as I love Carol, and even though S5-Ep1 is my all time fave, I have to go with Rick biting Joes throat.
That one has always, and will always, hit different.

Hello, Carylers, hereâs my thoughts on the âspoilersâ.
First off, I think it sounds suspicious. I donât know how believable it is that Norman wants NY and Melissa doesnât⌠wouldnât they have already established where they would be filming? Also, wouldnât some kind of compromise be made as to the location if needed? It just sounds off to me.
Assuming by some chance this is a real spoiler, I donât think itâs anything to get upset over regarding Caryl canon. 11c has already been scripted and filmed⌠Caryl is either going canon or theyâre not. Keep that in mind.
How would they make Caryl canon AND make a Daryl spin-off with no Carol? I donât know the specifics, but if they were desperate enough it could be done.
Itâll suck if the spoiler is true, but itâs not the end of the world. Just remember, the question of canon or no canon is ALREADY answered. Everyone knows but the viewers đ
In conclusion, keep your heads up!

So glad Iâm not alone on this take
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the argument of âif the show followed Negan then Negan would have been the good guy, and Rick the bad guyâ like no.
What Negan and the Saviorâs did was generally much worse than what Rick and his group did. The argument that Rick made himself as bad as Negan by storming the Saviorâs compound was is bad, because Rickâs group only ever did that out of fear of the rumors they had heard about the Saviors. Rumors that were correct. The saviors routinely killed people to make a point. People that they expected to basically be their slaves. You really want me to believe that if Rick and Team Family hadnât killed the men at the compound that Negan and the Saviors wouldnât have killed someone or enslaved Alexandria?
Yeah right.
Negan was bad. And Negan admitted he was a bad man. Was Rick and TF blameless? Did they never do anything bad? No. Of course they werenât blameless. But the argument that they were just as bad sucks.
