I rewatched the first episode of The Bad Batch with my Grampy today (he’s visiting from across the country and has never seen it before), and here are a few of my favourite things he had to say:

- “What’s with the pimples on her head? Wait a minute, that guy has head pimples too! What’s with this?” (he was talking about Depa Billaba, and then Echo’s head implants)

- “Wait a minute, did he try and shoot that kid?!”

- *Cue laughter anytime Tech says something sassy*

- “That guy who likes to blow stuff up has got to smack that Crosshair fella’s head and knock his chip out of place. That’ll solve things.” I mean— 😭

It’s hilarious watching Star Wars with him because he only half understands the continuity between all the shows and movies. So in the middle of watching TBB he was like: “wait, so what’s Mando doing right now?” And we’re like well. He would be a child lmao

I really like how many of the world’s most iconic structures and places are just right next to some of the most mundane stuff imaginable, for example

Stonehenge

Is right next to a busy road

The Pyramids of Giza

Are at the outskirts of Cairo

Niagara Falls

Are part of the town of the same name

And Agrippa’s Pantheon

Is crammed inside downtown Rome

It just so interesting to notice.

#niagara falls downtown happens to be one of the ugliest fuckin places in canada it’s so tragic #niagara on the lake is beautiful. love it there. but by the falls it’s like vegas levels of tacky #which sucks because the canadian side of the falls is incredible #and I feel like nobody realizes that until they go to the falls lol #history stuff
