Pinch Hitting Guidelines

In the event that a creator drops out, I will put out a call to find a pinch hitter. A pinch hitter is someone who agrees to pick up an assignment that another creator has dropped. First, I will offer the assignment to the pinch hit list. If no one can pick it up after 24 hours, I will post it to the blog.

If your giftee is the one who dropped out, then you have two options. You can choose to gift your work to them anyway or you can post your work “unclaimed” as part of the event, for no one in particular. In that case, you can feel free to be more creative and tailor it to yourself since it is no longer a specialized gift for a specific recipient.

Please DM the blog or send me an email at [email protected] if you wish to be added to the pinch hit list! You will have priority access to assignments should a pinch hitter be needed.

Hello! I'm part of the exchange and had a question. I want to anonymously ask my giftee a question in regards of their gift, should I drop the question here or is there another way to do it? Hope you have a nice day!!

Hello anon! There are a couple ways to deliver an anonymous message to your giftee. The easiest way would be to send an ask right to them! That way there is no delay in getting your message to them. Their username is in the assignment email.

The other way you can send a message is through me! Either DM or email ([email protected]) is fine! And I'll deliver your message and then send you the response. Whichever works best for you!
