religious school is so wack

I started going to a religious school and they dumbed down the core classes so bad. I took a regional test and scored the highest out of everyone in my grade. Mind you, I'm nothing special, pretty mediocre.

Almost any time I participated in class I was met with praise for knowing the most basic concepts.

Also its an all girl school so the parents care even less about academics (they want the girls to get married)

I'm afraid to ask my teachers about slang from their time period because they might say something like "The Prophet Mohammed never used slang in his life"

I asked my religious teacher about her plan for a zombie apocalypse and she asked about my plan for the antichrist 💀

It's all good if you want to practice your own religion, but I don't need to be a part of it.

If you feel like robbing a bank, go for it. You can explain every part of the plan and I'll give you advice on how to improve it. I'll never snitch and be your alibi if you need one. I'll let you live your life and support you no matter what, but I don't want to be a part of it.

I've been forced to go from a public school to a religious one. That'd be okay if I wasn't becoming a religious scholar. Instead of loving my religion more, I've grown to almost resent it.
