New posepack: Random Dad Poses

A handful of adult-and-child poses which I’ve made for my story over the last few months, and decided to release together.

ANNOYINGLY I discovered that the actual seat area of the Cottage Living bench is not like other benches, so I’ve included an adjusted version to work with the base game sofa to give you a bit more flexibility. Also: the bed poses were made using the base game single bed pictured here. However, not all single beds are equal either, and on some of them the sleeping pair won’t be in the correct position. TOOL is your friend I guess.

Easter Weekend Club-Crawl Part II

Hit up System Shock Dance Club after A&J Nightclub for an explicitly Easter Themed venue and the perk of an auto-dancer! Simply click on an empty floor tile, and your dance will automatically match the tempo of the music being played, scaling up and down in intensity as the DJ plays their set. Had an absolute ball out here!

Easter Weekend Club Crawl Part I

First stop on my Easter Weekend club-crawl, it's a regular destination of mine -- A&J Nightclub! I spent the evening jamming out to such a great set my Lindo Hud wouldn't let me grow any more flowers. This is everybody's reminder to tip your DJs & hosts, they're putting on great events at basically zero-cost to us. DJs must often have upwards of 500 songs on hand per gig and take requests, control the flow of folks on and off the dance floor, and mix all the music together to create a bangin' tunefest. Skrillex, AC/DC, and other classic rock played for over an hour tonight -- Truly Amazing Work!

The dance poseballs are easy to interact with, though you can only pick couple's dances from what I saw lingering at the far edges of the dance floor. Maybe check out the center of the floor where all the scary people fellow dancers are coordinated into groups and dancing in sync for a group dance that doesn't leave a poseball floating in your photo shoots XD

Highly recommend accepting the free coca cola or vodka gift object, or otherwise equipping yourself with a foodstuffs item while present! Adds to the atmosphere and really makes you feel like you're at a club.

another day, another rise & grind for $L. The A&J Nightclub provided some fun music and tropical scenery while I grew my Lindo flower. Re-invested the returns on my last few silver seeds to buy $L40 worth of gold seeds. Hoping to see some higher returns going forward, so I can reinvest in those crops. We are entering into the home stretch on my academic semester with finals week occurring mid-May. Keeping up social media can really be a part-time job all on its own, so I'm only committing to one post per day on both insta and tumblr for now. Expect more than just travel blogging and Lindo grinding come late-May/June

Behind the Scenes Talk under the cut

last night, uploaded tons of old pics from summer 2021 (when i first got into SL).

planning to upload a small batch every week for "throwback thursday" while i build up and organize my current SL escapades. gotta get in the habit of linking all the shit in my pics. probably going to decorate the cathedral for specific poses and locations.....

at least for right now, while i grind for lindens, i can just take photos in the location i sit/mingle while growing the Lindo flower! so i'll do that daily and get that bread.

about to brush off the dust from that aborted engineering degree and use the drafting and building design classes to my advantage. blender cannot be THAT different from solidworks and autocad, right?

clothes might not be something i can model well but i can absolutely design the textures for very basic vest and shirt pieces

and i gotta water this corn so i can get chicken feed so i can get chickens for meat so i can sell it so i can afford a sheep so i can use wool threads and start making pressed flower candles to sell at this farming sim farmer's market
