I’m really tired. • RK900 has GREY eyes. • RK900 and RK800 are of the same height. • The height difference between RK900 and Gavin is the same as RK800 and Gavin (about 6 cm or 2.36" NOT MORE). things i did that forced me to be a better artist:

used a reference for everything

thinner line art (you think thats thin? go thinner….)

sketch, then do a cleaner sketch, THEN start finalizing

THUMBNAILS

color research, picking a set palette or light/dark for each work

you like that pose? redo it one more time

USE A DAMN REFERENCE

do not rely on stylization as an excuse for anatomy

draw the goddamn background you coward

just draw the hand- a bad hand is better than a hidden hand

the rule of thirds WORKS

take a considerable break between sketch and lines/paint

know that art takes longer as you get better at it

draw the seams on clothes

stop aiming for accuracy and focus on fluidity and motion, accuracy will come with practice of those two concepts

just…do the chiaroscuro. just DO IT. no excuses it always works

stop making excuses, make yourself an art schedule/set weekly(or daily) art goals and just DO IT.

DLC/prequel ideas for Detroit: Become human

So as you pretty much know Detroit become human has been a globally successful game and many of its players enjoying every second of gameplay. However whilst I was looking at how successful it was there was some talk of a second Detroit become human game. Although I thought it would be great I then thought about it and realised it wouldn’t be a good game.

Detroit Become human is a game that requires the players’ input to have a consequence or an objective complete. With multiple endings to choose from based on your choices which brings up my first point. If one of the endings you received was one where everyone died aka the main characters then what would happen to the prequel? It wouldn’t exist unless it was the same storyline just with upgraded models of the original characters. Which no one would like because it’s repetitive. So here is a few ideas for the prequel of Detroit become human.

The prequel would be set after the peaceful ending where everyone lives.

For Kara’s storyline:

-It follows Luther, Kara and Alice and how hey adapt and slowly become human.

-Shows some really heartwarming scenes

-Players choice on which profession Luther and Kara go into

-Alice goes to school and during this the player can influence what she does best at in terms of subjects

-Eventually Kara and Luther get married and the player can plan the wedding and who gets invited. (I would love to see Ralph in a suit and the millions of Jerry’s just turning up for the wedding.)

-Also there’s a choice to transfer Alice’s memory into a more sophisticated model aka teenager Alice

-Which could start some romance as the player chooses whether or not Alice would be interested in women or men

-And maybe have a free DLC that players get after achieveing all available endings for Kara’s storyline.

-I don’t think there should be like a crisis that happens because I think this prequel should be nice and peaceful

Markus’ Storyline:

-Following the events of Detroit Markus and his squad decide to settle down somewhere nice

-Player gets to choose where but it will have to remain in Detroit (because it wouldn’t be called Detroit become human if they went to Australia.)

-Player also gets to choose whether to go with Simon or North because who doesn’t love a cute couple

-Josh would eventually find a partner get married and adopt the android boy on the ship before Jericho got destroyed

-If Markus choose North the player would also get a chance to plan their wedding and choose their professions and whether

-One of the options for professions would be to restart Jericho but start it as a medical center for damaged androids to restore them back to their original state

-If Markus choose Simon the profession option for the Jericho medical center would still be there

-However there would be cute little cutscenes of them baking stuff together as a hobby/couple thing

-Eventually I think they would adopt a child and Simon would be like a little ray of sunshine (he is already though but it would be amplified)

-The DLC for both North and Simon’s branch would be the squad getting together and having a little reunion and their kids getting together and their adventures

-The DLC would be called Jericho second generation and the player would get to see how the main characters interact with their kids because it would be so darn adorable

-But ultimately Markus getting like an overprotective dad and questioning why their adopted child was out so long

-This storyline wouldn’t been seen through the eyes of just Markus it would been seen through North/Simon depending on who the player picked. The DLC would also be free after the player achieves every ending.

Connor’s storyline:

-The afterstory would be Hank helping Connor move in to his home and both of them continuing to solve cases

-Connor would sometimes have nightmares and Hank would come in comfort him and waited till he powered down again before going back to bed

-The nightmares would be of Amanda taunting Connor about how Hank’s only a human and won’t last much longer.

-Eventually Hank recommends Connor goes to a Cyberlife store to get rid of her because the stores accept deviancy and the changes that come with it

-Hank in the meanwhile gets a puppy for Connor the player gets to choose which breed, the gender and it’s colourings only a few per breed as it would be unrealistic otherwise

-Girl puppy names only a choice of four same with boys because it would be a bit hard for the actors to remember so many names if they did do this prequel

-Hank and Connor would have a son/father relationship (not because I don’t think shipping them would be a good idea but because of the age gap and it would be awkward for the actors to shoot)

-One of the puppy names for the girls could be Nora as a reference to Brendon Uries interview with puppies because I found that so darn cute

-Connor finding a genre of music he liked branches like when Markus was deciding which painting to paint

-Connor asking the store to make him more human and eventually his speech is less robotic and he can digest food as energy

-The DLC would be free and would only be achievable after getting all endings

-The DLC would be Gavin announcing he’s got a better android then Hank as he brings in RK900 and being the snobs they are they would just be sassy

-Based on the player Connor can either snoop or leave Gavin and his android

-The outcome in the end if you choose to leave Hank forces you to snoop

-Turns out Gavin is a lot more closer with RK900 then he leads on, Connor goes to his apartment and Gavin and RK900 are practically all over each other RK900 being the dominant one surprisingly.

-Eventually RK900 admits his deviant and Gavin and him come out as a couple the player can choose RK900’s name only a choice of four though

-If player chooses Hank and Connor can become a couple but only if the player wants them to be

((Same goes for all of the other couples in the game it won’t be forced on the player if they don’t want to they can simply decline, the prequel would be more targeted for the fandom.))

-The rest of the DLC would be like a detective themed one. Where Connor and Hank run into Perkins again.

This only is an idea it isn’t canon for the actual prequel if there is one this is just some thoughts that came into my head when considering the new game.

There would be some minor setbacks though the original game took five years to make but hopefully this one should take three as most of the interfaces used for the game would still be there aka character models but the three years would be a good wait for a good game.
