I'm gonna start tagging my Asks to avoid confusion also be warned my Asks tend to look like fanfics due to adding extra details and stuff to set up a scene for them.

anyway refresher and extra lore: Starkiller MC's name is due to their ship being powered by consuming stars and they spent the entire war researching alongside the fiend responsible for research and development in the syndicate.

Together they developed alot of things but MC was also working on the side making a plan called the Ark and it helped make their people survive the war (they essentially pulled a Sentinel Prime) they sent stealth ships to pick up and teleport survivors into the Ark and if they where detected and hunted down they would teleport all crew and survivors off the stealth ship and self destruct.

The Ark took off with the survivors including humans sympathizers into the neighboring galaxy into a hospitable planet for the humans on board to survive, in the long tripe the humans on board where cryogenicly frozen and defrosted after land fall where they made a new civilization where human and machine live and work together to build a brighter future while the people in the solar system decay due to the damage of the war.

So anyway that was long how would the RO react to finding a space station the survivors of the syndicate built and seeing how happy they are living with humans and how they worship MC as a Savior for their actions.

I think every plan containing the words "brighter future" is destined for failure in a world as pointlessly grimdark as mine, but it would be a pretty fun environment until then.

Easter Update

I'm happy to announce that a new chapter of Saturnine, covering the events right after the player's second mission, has been uploaded. Although at little over twenty thousand words, the chapter is the shortest one yet, making this update a bit of a joke in terms of volume.

Get it? I'm calling the update a joke because it's April Fools today... but probably not by the time you're reading this, writing this chapter took me longer than I thought it would... I'm doing my best, okay?

Da-xia will appear again, but she's not exactly an RO. As she explains in detail when asked, she's not interested in a romantic relationship, just finds the MC interesting. And hot.

Just played through, I love it!

One thing I noticed though, is that even if you choose to just wait and observe Crystal with Lisa in the following dialogue others mention a fight that didn't happen.

Anyway, I really love the setting, as well as the sufficiently advanced technology and all that! Really looking forwards to its' future! :D

I'll look into it. The Calypso chapter has quite a few paths, so some outcomes may not exactly make perfect sense. Glad you're enjoying my unhinged blender of a setting, though.

Yes, in that no sequels or prequels are planned. I have drafts of other stories set in the same universe, but Saturnine will be a complete game.

I'm gonna be real with you dawg, these flirt options from MC for the most part made me wince (especially with Damon). Could you add some subtler ones or more natural progression for romance (that doesn't rely so much on harassing characters who give you every sign they aren't into it)?

The same as the four other main ROs. If you keep your relationship stat with him decently high (> 50% in late chapters) he'll be receptive to MC's advances. Maybe not in the "let's make out immediately" way, but enough to remain interested.

That's what I figured. The code responsible for changing control flow is placed in the first chapter, so older saves still use the original settings and it makes them incompatible with newer stuff. Should have thought about it, I suppose.

Hello! Lovely update as always ❤ I just wanted to point out that when discussing the Black Narwhal with Link all the choices leD to the same error : saturn line 304: It is illegal to fall in to an *else statement, you must *goto or *finish before the end of the indented block.

Strange. It works just fine when I test it, so Dashingdon must have issues with enabling implicit control flow. I'll see what I can do, I suppose.

Saturn Update

Happy Women's Day, if it's still March 8 when you're reading this. Saturnine now has a new chapter, a mission into the depths of the sixth planet. Three paths, 37K words and many new character interactions, not to mention lines and choices added to existing chapters.

Oh, and there are achievements now, but don’t worry about them yet. They’ll only work properly once I export the project to HTML, somewhere in the future. The new battery mechanic works just fine though.

The Meta Trio when having captured MC a swarm of nanomachines comes out and repairs them before unleashing a massive blast of electricity making them back up and see MC's real appearance as a fiend (except the nanomachines they use arent from the shriek and their model is part of an experimental and super advanced model of the same type of Android MC is, they kinda look like one of the androids from Signalis but very different and has oni horns).

They look at the The Trio and they go from frown to anger before snapping their fingers and the entire area gets consumed in a mysterious energy that teleports them, a kanabo appears in MC's hand as two massive androids appear from the shadows and both massive android charge towards both Marshal and Hellhound before MC charges at Rook slamming their lightning charged club at his arm which meets the club which cuts through the armor and proceeds to shatter his arm and dislocates his shoulder, the second android transforms into a hellhound and mauls Hellhound and Marshal gets slammed hard against the ground.

Long story short they get knocked out and when they wake up their patched up and in a comfy bed before they hear kissing and see MC making out with Hellhound before they realize their awake How would Marshal and Rook react to that and MC giving Hellhound a silent look of understanding (they had a long talk with them about their SA experiences since they saw Hellhound's memories and Rook's response is what lead to MC beating the ever living shit out of him) before agreeing to help them with their mission with a couple of conditions one of them is they want to buy Hellhound their freedom (they already did remove the bomb while they where knocked out).

Look, I appreciate the effort and enthusiasm, but that's fanfiction rather than a question. We have a place for that. I'll gladly read whatever you come up with, but there are better locations for it than my inbox.

I was just writing a scene for the upcoming "Saturn" chapter, but had to take a break because one of the options is so damn cruel it's genuinely hard to write. I'm tempted to stop implementing these pointlessly evil choices, but all feedback I ever got shows that my readers enjoy turning their Veteran into the biggest asshole to ever plague the Solar System.

Was the Veteran sexually abused by Master/Mistress?

Well... there's a reason the Veteran has all the parts and systems necessary for sex today. It's one of the major reasons why humans were even building androids before the Calamity.

So yeah, there was totally sexual abuse going on. I didn't want to state it outright in the story, because I know the stuff makes people uncomfortable, but it was definitely the authorial intent.

Do you plan on adding any polyamorous routes to the game? I like both Hadaly & Marshal (I know, complete opposites) but if I was forced to choose just one I feel like I wouldn't be able to do it lol

No such plans. Even ignoring how no two LIs would agree to such an arrangement, writing so many romance routes is hard enough without them intersecting. And I'm hoping to actually finish the game one day.

The most "poly" thing you can do is to enter a casual relationship with Miguel and/or Sheila whilst romantically pursuing someone else. Going for more than one out of five main ROs is just screwing with both.
