Mi fa ridere come in Italia oggi la gente provi ribrezzo nel vedere usato l'asterisco per rendere il linguaggio inclusivo, quando in un paese come la Cina, che molti italiani credono sia indietro anni luce, da anni senza nessun problema si usa TA come scelta inclusiva invece di 她 ("ta" femminile) o 他 ("ta" maschile).

Doona!'s happy ending hidden in the opening & intros

The majority of the drama Doona! is set in the past and plays as a memory. The present is only seen briefly, scattered in brief scenes in the opening and in the intros of episodes 1, 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9.

After putting all the pieces together, it's pretty clear that in the present Doona and Won-jun are dating secretly and regularly meet each other.

1) They meet at a railway crossing in Japan (we know this because the writing on the signs is in Japanese):

Then they go on a date at the seaside. Notice how she's wearing the same clothes as in the pics above:

2) After their last scene in ep 9, when they cross paths in the Japanese shopping mall seemingly as strangers, they actually meet at a park.

This is the actual final scene of the drama, only it was put at the beginning of ep 9 instead of the end:

3) Two scenes that are hard to place but definitely happen around this same time are Won-jun at the Japanese railway crossing from earlier, wearing the same clothes, probably on his way to meet Doona:

I saw the new Ferrari movie and it was just like House of Gucci 2.0. When will they stop making stereotypical portrayals of Italian people and miscasting Adam Driver in old Italian man roles that couldn't be farther from him?

There was this line from Penélope Cruz (whom I adore but not in this film with that accent, sorry) where she's like "I'm gonna do like Italian lovers do" – as if a rural Italian woman in the 1960s was aware of the foreign stereotypes about her compatriots – and that tells you everything about the completely external and foreign gaze this movie was shot with.
