If I had a nickel for everytime Park Boyoung's love interest dissolved into thin air in front of her eyes I'd have two nickel.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Myul Mang never being able to even light his cigarette in Doom at your Service might be my favorite little detail about the show

I have a love/hate relationship with how conflicted the only friends characters make me feel like I said before that you can't categorize them, they're not black and white, they've got layers
and I love that but it also makes me lose my mind because it's so much harder to have a clear opinion on any of them
yk usually in shows or movies it's like "yeah, this person is the bad guy and that person is the good guy" you don't have to think much about it, it just is that way but with only friends you don't have that
I love that this show keeps me thinking, like in the beginning I used to hate Top with a passion, I didn't think it would ever change but here we are, with me thinking Top is actually a decent guy
I don't know how to really describe it but watching only friends is just oddly exhausting at times (at least for me) because it keeps pulling you from one thought to the next when you're like "oh, this was nice of him" the character makes a decision and you're like "oh no wait, he actually sucks" and this show keeps doing this over and over and it keeps happening in really short time spans and my brain just malfunctions and can't keep up
but that's also what I like so so much about it, you really have to pay attention while watching, you have to keep thinking and even though I find it exhausting sometimes I think ultimately this is a great feature of the show

Sand really can't say no to people and it's becoming an actual problem now of all time
honestly I would've rather had the cursed 11th episode instead of having all the drama pushed into ep 12

a few weeks ago I said I should start taking notes while watching only friends so here are my unfiltered and unedited thoughts on ep. 11:
aw, Plug and Yo are back together.. and now Sand's probably even more sad
honestly I'm with Top here, if Mew said he was ready to forgive him and is now playing this stupid game that's not it like let it go, bestie
aww man, Dan if only you knew.. honestly I was rooting for Dan, I don't think he really has an chance anymore but I thought him and Nick were cute
Ray and Sand's mom.. aww what a cute little scene
nooo not Sand being all sad in the bar :(( I can't take First's teary eyes anymore
oh god now they're both crying oh god
uurrgh now that they're all lovey dovey again that Boeing drama is gonna suck
aaand there he is
huh?? Mew bestie, if you want to give Top a chance then stop being a bitch and actually give him the chance what are you saying??
just shuuut uuup Boeing pls
Boeing is so petty it's hilarious
uuuh, Boston-Nick-Atom-Drama let's goo
yoo, not Nick and Boston teaming up to get revenge they are sick!! two little psychos
not Boston literally saying Atom should get a grip
man, Nick is just so nice I can't take it.. yeah, he's a bit of a weirdo but he's nice
oh yeah just Sand and Ray making me feel even more single than I already am, thanks guys
not Mew and Top both having big fat trust issues like that's maybe not the greatest foundation for a relationship
yeah and see, now Mew messed with Top too much after Top messed with Mew and now he's gonna realize he actually wants him back and bla bla bla
can you tell I'm not the biggest fan of Top and Mew??
eww, Boeing smiling at Sand
hands off of Sand, dude
ahahah wdym Boeing wants to be a flight attendant?? that's so funny oh god
life lessons with the mums
actually funny how the short haired mum is literally just moral support like she barely has any lines
okay, okay is this the first TopMew scene that kind of touched me??
why are they striking such poses for a passport picture??
oh I see we are communicating the Boeing issue love that
Atom telling Cheum the truth?? hope Cheum is going to apologize to Boston
Nick's cute little face when Boston said he's only gonna sleep with him I caaan't his smug little face
actually kind of upset I am only now getting the chemistry between Top and Mew like we are in the second to last episode!! this is so annoying up until here their chemistry was non existent and now the show is almost over but who knows maybe it was intended this way, maybe they just were supposed to be weird around each other because Force and Book clearly work well together but everything before today's ep. was so off
bro, the way my smile faded when Boeing came in
uuuuh the tension between them
not Boeing coming to get on Sand's nerves now after he realized he couldn't do anything to Top and Mew
take his annoying ass away I know he's literally just a plot device but pleeaase take him away
bro stop the acting
oh my goooood stop touching Sand!!
oookaaay what kind of road are we taking with this "pool party"??
oh god what was this ending??
and what was this hell of a preview??
I honestly don't know what to say.. I gotta admit this was the least cursed ep. 11 I've ever seen in all the bl's I've watched but it seems like we're gonna get all that bullshit in ep. 12 and I don't know if I like that

oh, one thing that really pissed me off this episode was the confrontation scene between Boston and Cheum, because why god, why were Mew and Ray there??
wait, let me rephrase that, the scene itself didn't annoy me, it was the fact that these two were there and didn't do shit but drop stupid comments as if they are so much better than Boston
especially Mew, the way he looked at him and spoke to him you could tell he always looked down on him for his "lifestyle" and that made me so angry oh my god because who tf are you to judge in this moment especially?? this wasn't your problem to deal with it's almost like he was waiting for a reason (this being Atom saying he forced him to sleep with him) to finally tell him how filthy he thinks Boston is

now that episode just wrecked an emotional havoc ho-lyyy, really just came in and took my whole saturday evening apart and left it in pieces
oh god, where do I start??
Atom, this little snitch.. I get it, he's hurt but I feel like he knew what he was getting into with Boston and to now lie about the whole situation just to not seem like the stupid one? and the kind of lie?? accusing Boston of forcing him and taking picture of him without permission is wild, like don't do that
speaking of Boston Neo really did a great job portraying him this episode, the scene with Nick in the end I genuinely started to pity him (now I don't want to excuse his actions because he's done some shitty stuff, but yk, at least he knows he fucked up)
and Nick, oh god, he's back to being my little meow meow, Mark has like the perfect crying face whenever his character gets emotional it just pulls at my heartstrings.. for me personally he did the better performance in the scene between Nick and Boston in the end like Nick breaking down because he's been holding back all those emotions, acting like he could really move on from Boston when he knew he couldn't.. that just got me
now, Mew and Top still give me absolutely nothing, I don't know what it is, their relationship still seems so incredibly artificial I'm actually glad Boeing is there to fuck shit up because god they're so boring.. I found Mew really annoying this ep. and Top is kinda back to being this shell.. like he's the least developed character out of all of them, I feel like everything that could've made him less two dimensional was just tossed aside and now we're left with whoever he is (which I actually think is kind of sad, I feel like we had some potential but oh well)
now onto Boeing, this motherfucker, I don't know if I love him or hate him.. clearly he got introduced to stirr up drama between the couples and I love how he's just there to be a bitch, I love it, he's hotter and he's better than everyone else but actually way worse, he's so unlikeable but incredibly attractive at the same time it's sickening he's so unhinged
and now my favorite subject each week: Sand and Ray! I totally didn't expect to see the big apartment fight this week I 100% expected it to be in ep. 11 (because yk, that's always when shit goes down)
but now that it happened we finally got confirmation that it had to do with what Ray's dad told Sand at the hospital (I thought they might leave that open and don't pick it up again but I'm glad they did because sometimes those "side stories" get lost through out a show and I'm left wondering whatever it was for)
besides all that First and Khaotung once again delivered great performances! that apartment fight was done amazingly by both of them and then Khaotung totally took the cake with that last scene, I broke when he said "being with me requires some patience."
but apart from this being a great performance by Khaotung I just really REALLY want Ray to for once wholeheartedly go ahead and apologize to Sand.. because after all he just told his therapist all of that which is great because those were probably a ton of repressed emotions but like tell Sand, please

I don't know about you but I really liked today's episode, it might've been my favorite one so far.. from Nick and Sand's cute little bestie getaway to Ray and Mew's conversation in the end.. it was great!
and can't forget Mew and his mom's I love how he just got sooo tiny when his mom was like: are you smoking? and he immediately went: ah, yeah but no, like I'm not addicted, I can stop I swear! that was really cute
also Boeing showing up in the end?? I was so on edge when you could only hear his voice because I wanted to see if people were right about it being Mix omg and then it turned out to be Mond?? the twist!! loved it also I totally get why Top fell for Mew because Mew basically looked like Boeing when they first met.. my guy Top has a type I see
now obviously we are not quite there yet in terms of all the couples getting a happy ending and we still have the scary ass fight scene between Sand and Ray ahead of us, so don't get fooled by the happiness!
but at least for now the episode wasn't entirely traumatizing let me have my moment of peace

honestly, maybe it is better for all characters to go separate ways and never see each other again when the show ends because all of this is getting insufferable to watch

Okay, here are my - still very unorganized - thoughts about ep. 7:
Mew and Ray?? eeeehh noooo.. Ray totally is Mew's rebound or even worse just a piece in Mew's revenge plot and Ray is absolutely eating it up I just feel like they're gonna drag each other to hell but maybe they need it to realize they don't need each other in a romantic way (especially Ray)
and them dressing up as Harley Quinn and the Joker in the next ep?? no thanks, that's so tacky I hate it
I'm still so genuinely surprised we got Ray and Mew together now because I was expecting this never ending unrequited crush thing to just keep on going I didn't think they would actually get together (I honestly don't even want to call it being together because it feels so wrong)
I actually - for just a moment - felt a little sympathy for Boston and Top??
more so for Top, because yes what they did surely wasn't okay, but Top hasn't been a total asshole the entire time compared to Boston and he seemed to be genuinely trying to get Mew back
Nick broke me, I pity him because he lowers his worth so much, he's so desperate for love it's upsetting -> saying he doesn't need Boston to love him just not hate him (also his sad crying face oh god)
Ray's situation really sucks ass on all levels and I keep switching between feeling sorry for him and wanting to punch him like.. my guy he's got no mom, his dad doesn't love him or - the typical dad in drama problem - he doesn't know how to show it, his friends apparently only like him again because they realized what he was trying to do, still no one but Sand cares about his alcoholism and him in general and that's the one person Ray pushes away by now "dating" Mew
idk, I was kinda expecting to like "evil Mew" more than I did in the end, I enjoyed how different Book was able to make him look with just a few facial expressions like that was pretty cool but everything else was a little meh, I don't even know why because his little shenanigans and plotting against Top and Boston were fun but it just didn't quite get to me
Sand and Ray really had 5 seconds of fluff right before everything crashed and burned
also Ray asking Sand to shave him when there was literally nothing to shave anywhere in sight?? had a little laugh at that also the shaving was looking very fake, like the razor wasn't even touching his face.. well it was a nice scene nonetheless
also kinda lost it when Mew straight up burned this piece of paper in the MIDDLE of his apartment like you must've been very sure about nothing catching on fire
also those weird zooms they did on Top and Boston throughout the episode?? that looked a little funny

I think I said this before but I really like that none of the characters are 100% good or 100% bad, they are all in this grey area, they have good sides to them, they have bad sides.. some a little less, some a little more and that makes them and the show itself so interesting to watch.. all of them are somewhat predictable but at the same time not predictable at all, you think you know their next move and yet you don't which makes this whole show a really fun experience in my opinion
