I'm not the first to point this out, I know. But I just have this urge to say it again.

Ryu Sun Jae being devoted to Im Sol in every timeline is a feat we all agree is something that endears him to all the viewers.

But Im Sol, since the first timeslip, prioritized saving Sun Jae before she even thought of changing her own fate. She has now relived Sun Jae dying three times, the last one when they were already a couple. I'm pretty sure Ep 9 will show how devastated she is and how she would willingly jump back in time to, once again, try and save him. Even after all the foreshadowing in Ep 8 of gambling with fate.

So all this just to say - Im Sol's love for Sun Jae is just as strong, albeit, not as "long" and my girl needs proper kudos for that.

I saw someone point out the candy & time capsule that Sol gave Sunjae are egg-shaped which got me thinking about egg/hatching/lovebird metaphors. The high school candy egg is untouched but treasured. The present day time capsule egg has just hatched with revelations and first steps. Both of these represent the state of their love during that time. When they are both in college that is where they will spread their wings to become full-fledged lovebirds.
