firm believer that myself, and everyone else who writes y/n fics should delve into y/n’s personality more. like look i GET IT. y/n needs to be ‘neutral’ because they’re supposed to mirror the reader. i get it.

but as someone who also reads fics, and doesn’t just write them. i don’t wanna see myself as some pushover who’s just there to support the main character okay?? i wanna be the character with devastating ✨trauma✨. make y/n spicy! give them attitude, and flare!! give them personality!! make them badass and outshine the character y/n is shipped with sometimes. just a dash and a sprinkle of big dick energy yk? not all y/n’s need to just simply be the love interest. make them save the character you’re writing, make them codependent on one another, make it *leans into mic* interesting.

i write y/n fics like they’re my little oc, but i don’t want to put in enough effort to make an oc… (plus oc x characters aren’t popular enough on tumblr. sad face).

so with ‘i wanna be yours’… that’s an iffy project. i do really want to continue it, but lots of things are wrong with the smau aspect of my blog. first of all, they really deleted the apps that i was using to make the smaus so like rip, idk what i would do there :(( also i think that this time, i want to to stray away from doing smaus and focus a lot more on writing. 90% of the reason i did smaus is because doing chapter fics frightened me and i need to overcome that 💪🏻

i think for the time being, i’m just gonna focus on writing some short-ish things for jjk, maybe get back into writing for haikyuu because i miss my boys, and maybe genshin impact again after a while. BUT!!! the next big project i’m going to do when i get back into the grove of tumblr is do a remastered version of the santa baby smau that i did forever ago, as a written chapter fic because i have so much i want to change about it and upgrade because of s2 👁️👁️
