Sixty Undercover Machine Verse
While Connor had been sent to the DPD to work on the Deviancy case from that angle, Connor Sixty had been activated and sent out undercover as a deviant to try and find where they were hiding. Cyberlife didn't yet know if this was a random malfunction in the software of if someone out there was attacking their androids to make the company look bad and weaken their monopoly on the market. If he found and connected with deviants he was to send them to a 'safe house' that Cyberlife had monitored from a distance to come in and repossess any deviant androids that made their way there. When Connor went deviant at Jericho he was recalled back to Cyberlife where they uploaded the other RK's memories into him and ordered him to find a way to stop Connor.
The events in the depths of Cyberlife Tower left him deviant and near death, as it was only luck that Lieutenant Anderson hadn't hit his main processor with his shot. By the time Markus and the leaders of Jericho came back to look for any remaining androids in the tower Sixty had managed to make the bare minimum repairs to himself and escaped to try and survive on the hostile streets of Detroit.

what does "reblog from source" mean? when people ask you to "reblog from source," they are asking you to reblog the post in question from 1) the original creator of the post or 2) the closest blog you can get to the source of the post. they are saying "please don't reblog the post from me. please find another blog in the reblog chain to reblog it from." they don't want to be your hub for all your content. they don't want to be used like a resource blog.
why can't i reblog the post directly from them? why do i have to go through all these loopholes to reblog a post? roleplay blogs in particular rely heavily on notifications / the activity page to keep track of replies and responses to their threads. if you reblog a ton of content from their blog, you crowd their notifications and make it hard to keep track of replies. it's polite to find a non-rp blog and reblog it from them, rather than crowd a roleplayer's activity page with your notifications.
sometimes there might be exceptions. sometimes you can't find a source. sometimes the original poster deleted. sometimes you're passing around an important psa and it's quicker to reblog directly from someone than go find the source. sometimes people don't mind if you reblog a ton from them. sometimes you make a mistake. it's okay. at the end of the day, just be courteous and civil. understand that for some people in the rpc, it's inconsiderate to flood their notifications with reblogs. you might get blocked. please read rules, respect boundaries, and if you can, find another source to reblog the post from. it's just polite.

Tarantula Six (spiderverse au)
Six needing space from his family moved out to the east coast for a few years until a job opportunity paid for him to move back to Detroit, while working as a security guard for a research lab there was an accident where a shelf holding several kinds of spider specimens fell onto him, resulting in him getting bitten by more than one frightened spider. Six isn't an expert in genetics but after a week of growing two extra sets of arms and three more pairs of eyes along with a number of other changes managed to clue him in that something had gone terribly wrong. Naturally his employer accused him of breaking the shelving unit on purpose and demanded that he pay them back for the damages of lost and loose specimens, and too scared of his changing body to risk trying to fight back he doesn't try to fight their demands.
At the moment he gets enough money to cover his rent and some food while he works to pay off the unfair debt. While trying desperately to stay away from his brother Connor who also lives in Detroit and has rightfully gotten worried that he hasn't seen his brother face to face for too long. At night Six goes out on the orders of his employers to help in their less than legal dealings unaware that the shelf that initially broke and caused this whole mess had been altered to fail in an attempt to recreate an actual accident that happened in the past only on a person they had leverage and control over.

Mimic and Six venomverse AU extra info
So I realized that it might be hard for some people to visualize how Six and Mimic work together. Unlike how Eddie Brock and Venom 'mask' where Venom seems to cover Eddie like a kind of suit (this is commonly how they are displayed in comics too)
Putting gifs from the vemon movies under the cut because they count as body horror for the purposes of this blog
Tumblr media
Six's body is absorbed/redistributed while they are working and hunting together as Mimic leading to his transformation into Mimic's main form to be more like Kassidy's version of 'mask'
Tumblr media
This is also similar to how Mimic can rearrange and alter Six's appearance at will so long as they have enough energy and biological building blocks to do so. If they run too low on food and energy Six can get stuck with a singular form until they find something substantial to eat. If the situation is truly dire and Mimic is hurt or otherwise needs to conserve energy Six would need to be the one to responsible for getting the both of them food so Mimic can recover. During that time Six would have the same basic stats as any other human as Mimic would be unable to help him in any way.
Also Mimic looks kinda like this (and is surprisingly non-toothy unless they're actively eating)

Six and Mimic (Venomverse AU)
Like in the standard reverse verse au, Six ran away from the orphanage at 16, but instead of making it to the east coast he found a weird looking deer in the woods a mile or so away from the orphanage only for the dark oil slick deer to suddenly collapse and for something to knock into him causing him to fall. Mimic had been on Earth for an unknown amount of time, as a scout they had been bonded to a variety of different non-human hosts collecting information on the planet, only to learn many years later that there wasn't any more symbiotes coming. They were alone with their human on this planet. So they put all of their energy and attention into keeping Six safe and cared for but through the incomplete lens of a under-educated 16 year old's idea of what that means. Mimic's specialty is blending in and hiding in plain sight, and often alters their hosts appearance to avoid detection, including Six.
Now at the age of 36 Six has spent more than half of his live bonded to Mimic, and isn't as domesticated as most humans are at that age, thanks to Mimic he's lived through a lot of things that would kill people and thanks to that he has a very skewed idea of what pain is and isn't normal. While Mimic can change what he looks like it's not an illusion, Mimic is physically rebuilding and reshaping his face and appearance every time they change how they look. Between the two of them Six is the one that is more likely to suggest killing someone as a solution, filled with a so far proven faith that no matter what he and Mimic couldn't be found or separated, and Mimic is the one that is more aware of how things could go horribly wrong if they were ever discovered.
Mimic appears as a muscled humanoid standing at 7 feet tall, with their skin a deep nearly black blue that has a iridescent sheen to it like an oil spill, unless they're actively talking or eating their mouth fuses together leaving their head and face smooth aside from their large white eyes.

Human Six (standard reverse verse)
He doesn't talk too much about his childhood, but he grew up in a religiously run orphanage and he ran away at age 16, running all the way to the east coast before finally feeling safe enough to work a few jobs for cash under the table until he was twenty when he finally had enough money to finally feel comfortable getting his documents sorted out and discovering that the name on his birth certificate wasn't actually Six, but Connor. By age thirty he finally moved back west to Detroit and now at 36 he works as a police officer, mostly working nights since the pay is better and it's not like he's got much in the way of family to keep up with.
As far as androids are concerned, Six doesn't hate them, and finds the deviancy 'problem' before the revolution to be interesting. The idea of androids acting on emotions made him desperate to talk to a deviant one on one, needing to understand how that works because he has a drive to understand when he comes across something new. After the revolution he tries really hard to keep any conversations with androids to their terms since he doesn't want to come off as creepy or overexcited or worse.

Possibly for the first time in his life Six was entirely relaxed, he didn't have a single scrap of attention diverted to watching his back or calculating where his next meal would be coming from. Letting Rachel take the lead was nothing like living under a vampire. Her words felt like a welcome instead of an order and he was helpless to do anything but listen.
Rachel's hands on his hips helped ground him as he came with a long whine. Hand flying away from his mouth to clutch at the blanket shaking from the effort of keeping his hips from jolting too much and possibly harming the werewolf that was making him feel so good.
He felt like he was floating, and that it was only the blanket over him and Rachel touching him that kept him from physically lifting up and away from the bed.
"This might be my new favorite thing" oh yeah, he could have favorite things now without needing to worry that they might get taken away without warning. That's nice. Rachel's home was nice too, and Rachel was much more than nice.

Connor Sixty (standard DPD verse)
After getting fixed up by Jericho Connor Sixty was hired onto the police force partially because they were so short staffed after the revolution, and partially so they could keep an eye on him since it wasn't possible to determine when he deviated, and therefore what if any of his actions during the revolution where his own or simply orders from Cyberlife carried out by an undeviated android. All they know for sure was that when Markus went to wake him up after he was repaired he was already deviant. While he is just as capable of doing detective work as Connor, Sixty sticks to being an officer. He'd rather other androids get the chance to be detectives before him and he really really doesn't want to invite more comparisons between him and Connor.
That being said, if they really need a hand for interrogations while Connor is out in the field he is called in to help out beyond what a normal officer would be allowed to do, it also doesn't hurt that the people he's interviewing often mistake him for Connor and react accordingly. It's helpful and gets results so Sixty doesn't mention to anyone how much it hurts when he's reminded that no matter what he's just a temporary replacement until the 'real Connor' gets back to the office in the eyes of his coworkers (this may or may not be true, Sixty isn't a very reliable narrator when it comes to how he fits into his own life)
For the most part he keeps his head down, avoids Hank and Connor when he can and occasionally visits a bar that's been redesigned to be android friendly because its something normal and he doesn't feel like he fits in at any android only places like Jericho.
He does have a number of modifications both physically and to his software thanks to the techs at Cyberlife trying to get rid of any kind of deviancy and to make it more likely that he could succeed against a deviant Connor

Daisy
Previously she was a personal trainer in a large gym, and when the revolution really kicked up she along with the other androids that had been in the gym escaped. They managed to hide in the sewer system until the revolution was over, and now lives in a low rent android apartment with Sam, another android from the gym who used to be a receptionist.
On her first date with James she was ready to pack up and leave before he came back from his extended trip to the bathroom, ready to write the whole thing off after he disappeared right after she made a joke about having never needed to buy groceries figuring that if he did come back it wouldn't be to continue the date. Daisy was pleasantly surprised when he came back excited to keep going. Now that they've been dating for a few years she does tease him about it whenever he misses something else that she thinks is obvious.
Firmly leaving her old occupation in the past, she now helps run a small scale clothing shop that helps employ androids that might not otherwise want to work with humans for whatever reason until they're ready to move on to another job. All of the clothes they make are for sale to androids first, with the option to ship things to deviants across the country, but they don't ask for any kind of verification that their customers are androids and they make their clothing on standard sizes and to measure.

James
He's a business owner who got a great deal when he bought an old bar. The previous owners thought they were getting away with a bargain because they thought the place was filled with black mold, luckily for James it wasn't and the problem was actually old paint bleeding though the newer coat of red paint they had slapped on a year or so before he bought it.
He used part of the loan he took out to remodel the bar to purchase an android secondhand in 2036 despite feeling a weirded out about owning one. Just after Markus' broadcast he found them going through the office, grabbing cash and a spare jacket James kept in there for when the weather got cold. Forced to confront the fact that his gut instinct had been correct and that he'd ignored it for far too long James did what he thought he could and gave them some supplies and a promise that he wasn't going to report them as deviant. Later when the camps were being filled he lied to the police and claimed that after a physical malfunction he just sent it to the dump instead of bothering to get any kind of refund and hadn't gotten around to buying a replacement.
Now after the events of the revolution he still hasn't fully sorted out his feelings about how he interacted with androids in the past, but he does know that he's in support of them having all the same rights as humans even if he's stuck in the "I'm just a regular guy" mentality about it. He wants to be a better ally but running the bar has him so busy that he doesn't have the free time to really research how to help.
He started dating Daisy without realizing she was an android until halfway through their first date. When he realized, he managed it fairly well, by excusing himself to the bathroom and spending several minutes soaking in his own obliviousness. Not angry at her, just amazed that he somehow didn't notice she was an android. Then he washed his hands, checked to make sure his hair wasn't too messed up, and returned to their date before Daisy thought he ditched her.

A symbiote in Detroit
The city of steel and industry wasn't as populous as it used to be, abandoned factories and houses filled the sprawling city, while the towering skyscrapers at it's heart glimmered in the night sky. Police were spread thin across the whole of the city, and no matter how hard they worked crime was plentiful.
Twenty years ago there had been a small string of unexplained deaths. Body wide organ failure declared as the cause of death again and again, as if they had been exposed to some kind of concomitant, despite all of the blood work coming back clean of any kind of drugs or suspicious chemicals.
Of course they were only looking for things that shouldn't be in a human, and it was never investigated if the victims were deficient in any chemical, vitamin or mineral. If they had looked for that the Police would have been even more confounded at how it almost looked like their bodies were eaten from the inside out, with parts of the brain being targeted in particular.
There was no way for any of the police to possibly know that the end of odd deaths was linked directly to the disappearance of an orphanage worker and a teen from that same orphanage.
At first the search had been intense, but after weeks an no signs of any leads eventually the case went cold. Two years later it was all but officially shelved as the teen's 18th birthday had passed and he would be considered a legal adult.
Six lived in the shadows of the city, for twenty year he'd been scraping by on the streets, making camp in empty houses and the ruins of industrial buildings. Most didn't have basic amenities such as running water, but he'd lived like this for over half of his life. Around the city he had stashes squirreled away with different ID's with vastly different faces, and small stashes of money.
But tonight was a hunt, and Mimic's deep dark blue iridescent skin barely stood out in the night. Their silhouette was large, looming over any human they might come across. Their head smooth aside from their wide blank white eyes that looked over the street below looking for their next meal.
