Oh god

So when Aziraphale’s home burned down, Crowley offered him to stay at his place automatically and Aziraphale clearly wants to but rejects him because his side wouldn’t like it.

But then it’s Crowley who’s homeless and he’s not asked to move in and he doesn’t even say anything. Is this why he never told him, because “his side wouldn’t like it” and he knows Aziraphale still cares about them?

"the kiss was awkward" yeah sorry the kiss wasn't a perfect recreation of whatever the first kiss was supposed to look like in your head because apparently you think every kiss on screen should be sexy and passionate and with a lot of tongue maybe, like we're not watching two middle-aged men fall in love for the first time in their lives and them being gentle with each other and not throwing themselves at each other at the first opportunity

mostly writing this for myself bc i wanna get these thoughts out, but i wanna talk abt the ending of good omens...

just had people very close to me try to tell me that crowley and aziraphale's interactions at the end felt forced. which to me is CRAZY. as someone who has been in the fandom since i was a child, it's literally always been fact (even confirmed by neil himself) that it was a love story. it was about them connecting with each other and learning more about themselves and the world and it was so beautiful and amazing. everyone was scared season two would ruin it but it DIDNT. it added on so many more layers and at least i feel was a good ending because it allows the story to be drawn out more bc obviously nothing is going to happen quick with them.

another point is good omens is SUCH a revolutionary piece of queer media. it has such effortless inclusion and representation and it's just so outstanding in that department. it makes me so happy and to have people close to me ridicule that aspect and call it unnecessary makes me so sad and hurt. call me sensitive but i hold any representation the community can get close to the heart. that's all i have to say ✌peace homedawgs
