Today had been one of the worst days of your life, everyone kept bugging you, dumping their work onto you and the customers were being especially bitchy. At least you could chill with your favorite tall and edgy skeleton friend. 

You knock on the door and the door opens to the skeleton himself, a hand on his hip and a bone brow raised. He only did this when you did something, good or bad, it depends.

“Uh… What did I do?” You ask confused, he sighs.

“IT’S WHAT YOU DIDN’T DO,” Uh….

“What?” Now you’re more confused, he rolled his eye lights, gently grabs your arm and pulls you inside.

“YOU HAVEN’T BEEN TAKING PROPER CARE OF YOUR MENTAL HEALTH HUMAN,” He scolded, you raised a brow, you didn’t tell him… Hell, you didn’t tell any of the skeletons of what happened.

“How? Why? Are you stalking me?” He huffed in amusement as he sat you down on the couch and began to walk towards the kitchen.

“TRADE SECRET, BECAUSE I CARE AND NO,” He answered before disappearing into the kitchen. You waited for a few minutes before he came back, placing snacks on the table before leaving again. He then yeeted a blanket at you and picked up the TV remote.

“NOW WHAT DO YOU WANT TO WATCH?” He asks while you wrapped yourself in the blanket. 

“I think you know what I want,” He chuckled amused while shaking his head, selecting your favorite show before sitting next to you. You both proceed to watch the first episode all over again.

“Thanks, I needed this,” You mutter, Boss smirks smugly.

“YOU’RE WELCOME,”

“Now hug me,”

“AND WHAT, PRAY TELL, IS THE MAGIC WORD?”

“Please?”

“THAT’S BETTER,” He wraps an arm around you, least to say you had fun watching your favorite show cuddling your friend. :D

Blue had convinced Stretch to come with him to a volunteer project. Stretch would rather be napping but if he can help people while also telling jokes then it’s a win-win in his book. Blue and Stretch approached a medium sized group gathered in the parking lot, listening to someone. They stayed in the back of the group and managed to hear who was talking.

“Alright people, today we’re going to be renovating a park for the fine folks in this neighborhood! I’ll be assigning team leaders for certain projects and you’re welcome to change your project if need be. Now-” You start listing off names of the people for team leader and Stretch listened with interest, you really knew what you were doing.

In a matter of minutes the project leaders were picked out and mostly everyone fanned out except for a few stragglers including Stretch and Blue. You smile softly and approach the stragglers.

“Are you all new here?” You ask, they nod, some say yes.

“That’s great! You can choose any project you want to help with, just make sure to ask the project leader what to do and remember you can change projects at any time, but also remember to take breaks,” You explain, everyone nods and slowly spreads out to the various projects. Blue and Stretch approach you.

“HELLO! WHERE IS THE ‘RECONSTRUCTION’ PROJECT LOCATED?” Blue asks confidently, you smile.

“It’s over by the swings, the materials are just over there. Just remember to ask for-” You pointed at the materials and just as you were about to say “ask for help” Blue walks over and lifts the heavy wood planks with ease with ONE FRICKING ARM. You mutter a “holy shit” under your breath which earns a snicker from Stretch and a smirk from Blue before he brings the wood planks to the reconstruction project. Stretch approaches you with a lazy grin.

“So, where are you going to work?” You look at him surprised.

“Oh, I help all of the project leaders. Why do you ask?” Stretch shrugs.

“Just wanna know the person behind this whole thing,” A light blush makes your way to your face and you smile.

“th-That’s very sweet of you Mr…” Stretch chuckles.

“Ya can call me Stretch,” 

“Nice to meet you Stretch, I’m Y/N,” You and Stretch start going to different projects, helping out while also chatting and joking around. Stretch and Blue kept the volunteers morale high and productivity was through the roof. Instead of having to finish in two days like you’d planned, you all managed to finish before the sun set.

And since everyone had done such a good job, you treated them to pizza which everyone was happy for. Stretch properly introduced you to his brother Blue who was sweet yet cunning, an unexpected yet welcomed combination. Everyone chatted and had fun that fateful night.

Stretch has gotten to know you better every time he comes and helps with volunteering. (with Blue of course.) And you in turn got to know the brothers better as well. But with every volunteer project going so well, you felt a creeping feeling, like you weren’t doing enough… The brothers noticed the shift in your behavior, even if you tried to hide it. They’re observant skelebois. 

“Hey, have you been noticing Y/N’s been acting a bit more… distant?” Stretch asks Blue curiously, Blue glances at his brother and smirks.

“I HAVE, BUT PERHAPS YOU SHOULD TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT,” Stretch narrows his eyes at his brother.

“What are you planning?”

“NOTHING,~” Stretch sighs and shakes his head, even if his brother was planning something, he had a solid idea.

“I’ll be back later,” Stretch says before leaving the house.

“HAVE FUN!” Blue yells after him, a knowing smile plastered on his face.

You sat on your couch, wondering, thinking. Anxiety plagued your mind, making you question your choices and making you wonder if you’re a good person or not. Before the rabbit hole could be dug deeper, a knock resounded through your home, somewhat distracting you from your own thoughts. You take a shaky, deep breath before getting off of the couch and approaching the door. You open the door and see Stretch on the other side.

“Hey, mind if I come in?” You shake your head and step to the side to let him in, he strolls in while you close the door behind him. He sits on the couch and you approach him.

“Um, do you… need anything? Like… water?” You ask awkwardly, Stretch shakes his head.

“Actually, I came over cause I was worried about you,” He says simply, you freeze and look around nervously.

“Th-That obvious?” You mutter, Stretch nods and you give a bitter laugh.

“I’m a mess aren’t I?” Stretch raises a bone brow, where did this come from? But that was just the beginning.

“I try my best to be a good person and make an impact, but it feels like no matter what I do, I’ll just be another human that tried to make the world a better place and failed,” Once you started, you couldn’t stop, Stretch listened intently while you spilled your guts, your anxiety, insecurities, everything you’ve been bottling up to be there for your volunteer group.

Once everything was out, you were shaking on the verge of crying, trying to hold back the tears that welled up in your eyes. Stretch stood up, approached you and gently wrapped his arms around you. 

“I’m here,” That’s all he needed to say before you broke down and began sobbing, grabbing fistfulls of his hoodie and burying your face into his shoulder. He let you cry, gently rubbing your back to help you. This was the first step of accepting your insecurities and Stretch will be there for the rest of the way forward.

Around Town (BHC! Poplar X Kind! Reader) Requested Valentines Special

You know the drill by now. Thank you Shy! :D I’m so sorry this took so long!

You and Poplar have been together for a little over a week and you prepared a first date for the two of you! With a deep breath, you knock on the door and your friend Papyrus opens it and smiles upon seeing you.

“Y/N! WELCOME TO OUR HUMBLE ABODE!” Papyrus greets as he leads you inside and closes the door behind you. You see Red and Nox chilling on the couch, Red gives you a smirk and wave while Nox just nods before returning to his book.

“POPLAR WILL BE DOWN IN A BIT!” Papyrus says before making his way into the kitchen. You rock on your feet as you patiently wait for your boyfriend. Fortunately, you didn’t have to wait too long because he soon came down the stairs wearing semi-casual clothes. He smiles upon seeing you and you smile back.

“Aww, you look cute in that sweater!” You compliment, a blush immediately washing over his cheek bones. 

“Nyeh Heh, Thank you! You Look Adorable As Well!” Awww. You can see Red silently gagging out of the corner of your eye and had to resist the urge to roll said eyes. You hold out an arm with a smirk.

“Shall we?” Poplar smirks and takes your arm with his.

“We Shall,” He cheekily replies. And off you both went into the town.

Your first stop was your favorite bakery, as soon as Poplar tried the baked goods he fell in love with them! So you bought some of the ones he liked for the road! Then you take him to the arcade that has VR games. You both have fun swimming around a virtual ocean. And last but certainly not least, you brought him to the park for a late afternoon walk.

“Y/N This Date Was A Wonderful Idea! Thank You!” You smile.

“I’m glad! Maybe we can do it again sometime?” A blush spreads to his cheek bones and gives you a soft smile.

“That’d Be Great!” You smile and stop, turning to him with a sly grin.

“May I have a kiss?” Poplar smiles softly, his blush growing ten-fold as he nods. With that, you gently kiss his teeth and he’s amazed. He gently wraps his arms around your torso and deepens the kiss slightly. You both pull back with a big grin.

“That Was Nice,” Poplar mutters, making you chuckle and release him from your hold.

“Want to check out the pond? We can even feed the ducks!” You offer, Poplar nods and off you two went to the pond. For the rest of the day, the two of you just talk whilst feeding the birds. What a great first date! :D

Here ya are Shy! Hope you like it!

Sans is the luckiest monster in the world. He and all the other monsters have been on the surface for a year, everyone is happy and most of all, he has you for a mate. He couldn’t be happier. And with that in mind, Sans tries to fall back asleep. That is until you practically kick down his door, making him yelp and fall out of his messy bed.

“SANS! WAKE UP! TODAY IS GOING TO BE THE BEST DAY EVER!” you exclaim, you may have been hanging out with Pap too much but eh.

“Stars babe, please don’t make me jump out of my skin, heh,” He mutters, you blink and realize he’s on the floor.

“Oh shit! Sans, are you okay?!” You ask as you speed walk to him and kneel by him, he sits up and smiles at you.

“Eh, could be worse. What’s got you so excited?” You narrow your eyes a bit before sighing, he’s okay. Thank goodness. A smile graces your face.

“Today is our anniversary and I want to make this a special day for you!” . . . His expression turned into one that screamed “fuck, I forgot.” You giggle at his reaction, he opens his mouth to apologize but you gently put a finger to his teeth.

“Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us. Now come on! I made breakfast!” You exclaim as you help him to his feet, gently hold his hand and lead him to the kitchen. Stars, you're amazing. 

Throughout the day, you and Sans just have a day to yourselves. You play video games, watch crappy T.V. shows and even nap! When nightime rolls around, you perk up when you see the time.

“Hey Sans!” You exclaim, holding something behind your back. He glances at you amused.

“Wear this blindfold please?” You ask, revealing the blind fold. Oh. Oh you just opened the gates for extreme teasing.

“Well, I didn’t think you’d be so forward-”

“IT'S NOT ANYTHING LIKE THAT SANS!” You screech, Sans chuckling at your reaction while gently grabbing the blindfold and putting it on.

“Okay, what now?” You grin unbeknownst to him and gently grab his hand.

“Let me lead the way,” He nods and you begin leading him, he trusts you with his life. And before long, you both stop somewhere outside.

“Okay, take off the blindfold!” You exclaim happily with a tired undertone. Sans does and looks around at the field before looking up, gasping softly. A perfect view of the stars glowing brighter than ever… He smiles and looks to you to thank you but you’re out like a light, sleeping peacefully in the field of grass. Sans chuckles, and gently brings your body close to him, effectively cuddling you while looking up at the sky. 

“You’re amazing, ya know that?” He asks before giving your forehead a kiss.

“Good night my little star,~” He whispers before looking back at the sky and watching the twinkling lights.

You've known the gaggle of skeletons for a while. Hell, you're best friends with the resident prankster Stretch. Which is a little surprising given your shy nature.

You've had multiple run-ins with his brother, Blue but… He's just so cool and proud that he intimidates you! So you usually scurry away with a quick "sorry," whenever he tries to talk to you. 

Blue understood this. He may be oblivious sometimes but he's not an idiot. He sees that he does intimidate you with his greatness so he'll take things slow. 

Instead of flat out approaching you, he starts with greetings and waves which you reciprocate before you both go separate waves, though you've been staying longer and longer each time, even asking what he's doing! Progress!

As the weeks went by, you and Blue occasionally had little conversations and Blue was ecstatic! This is more progress than he hoped to achieve!

But 2 months later, a problem arised. You had fallen for the blue skeleton. Panicked by this discovery, you go to his brother and your best friend for advice.

"Let me guess, Blue did something sweet?" He asks, usually being the target of you gushing about Blue.

"Well, no. Not this time," You mutter, the lanky skeleton raising a bone brow.

"Then… what's up?" 

"I-... May have a crush on your brother and I have no idea what to do with these feelings!" Stretch blinks surprised. Huh, this was… unexpected. Oh- Oh you're starting to break down.

"I-I don't know what to do! I-I mean, Blue is amazing in more ways than one b-but I've only gotten to know him a little a-and that shouldn't make me feel these things r-right?!" Stretch gently puts a hand on your shoulder.

"Y/N, breathe. In 8 seconds, out 5. Repeat," You do as instructed and calm down. Stretch smiles softly.

"There we go. So you don't know how to deal with these feelings?"

"Y-Yeah?"

"Well, the obvious solution is to tell Blue,"

"WHAT?!"

"Calm down, it's not as bad as you may think. Blue is a chill guy, he just likes being active. If he accepts your feelings, great, you got a cool new bonefriend. If he doesn't, you'll still be friends. He has a thing for understanding people, that's why he's so great," Your eyes sparkle with joy after he says that.

"Y-You're right! Thanks Stretch, Imma go prepare!" You kiss him on the cheek and run away with a huge grin on your face. Stretch stared where you left, an orange blush slowly creeping onto his cheek bones. He slowly grabs his hood and pulls it up before falling onto his side and curling in on himself, his blush increasing ten fold. You're too cute for your own good.

Well shit. Now Stretch is simping for you, damn you feelings, damn you. So now Stretch is contemplating everything while laying on the living room couch. Blue happens to walk by and see his brother in distress.

"SOMETHING ON YOUR MIND PAP?" He asks as he leans on the couch, Stretch sighs.

"Just… Thinking, Blue," Blue stares before a smirk grows and he shakes his head.

"ABOUT Y/N, RIGHT?" Stretch glares at his brother.

"Stop reading me with your eyes," Blue snickers.

"NAH, I DON'T THINK IT WILL. SAY, EVER HEARD OF A POLY RELATIONSHIP?" Stretch narrows his eye sockets at him.

"Where are you going with this?" 

"OH NOTHING, JUST THE FACT THAT Y/N SHARES SIMILAR FEELINGS WITH YOU,"

Oh my god, your face is so red… you were minding your own business when there was a knock on the door and here were the two skeleton bros you've been simping for all week standing at your door with flowers and chocolate.

I mean, now that you think about it, Blue HAS been dropping hints of a poly but was not expecting… this.

"U-Uh, what's the occasion guys?" You ask nervously, Blue smiles and hands you the bouquet of flowers, you gently take it.

"THE OCCASION IS US ASKING YOU OUT!" Your blush got worse after that, Stretch gave you a nervous grin.

"That is if ya want to of course," God these two were too much to handle. You set the flowers aside and smile at them.

"I-I'd love to!" Blue's eye lights twinkled with excitement as Stretch breathed a sigh of relief.

"GREAT! IS IT ALRIGHT IF I HUG YOU NOW?!" Oh wow, he's excited. With a nod, you're hugged by the skeleton as Stretch places the chocolate next to the flowers and ruffles your hair.

"Come on Blue, we have a date to attend," Stretch says cooly, his brother letting go of you and nodding before gently taking your hand and leading you towards the park with Stretch following behind. You're blushing like crazy but happy to be with these two boneheads.
