is there a neck or body slider?
There's none unfortunately due to the game's limitations. More info about it here.

Do you ever just want to make your Sim faces really small and short? If you do and have tried it you’ve probably noticed that then your Sims will get this annoying line from the corner of where the scalp begins and between the eye. I finally sat down and identified that single stupid vertex that gets smooshed up there and made a slider to pull it down. Yes, you are getting one (1) slider and nothing else.

Thanks to Nopke for the slider base & discovery of custom sliders
Nysha for the tutorial on how to build one.
You can find this under the full face category. I considered eyes but it doesn’t really affect them so face it is.
edited to add the CAS and Bodyshop icons look like these:

(an attempt was made but I’m not good with these icons at all ^^;;; )

Any detailists out there? Dunno if anyone besides me is gonna want this, but I needed it for my game. Since there’s so many sliders now and I’m very particular about my sims’ eyeshape, sometimes I end up deforming the pupil. So I made 8 sliders, 4 for each eye that move exactly one vertex horizontaly or verticaly. That’s right, I made 8 sliders and 16 preview images just so I could move part of my sims’ eyeball one milimeter to the left. Wtf is wrong with me.

I already uploaded this set of sliders on ModTheSims three days ago, but I thought I might as well share it on my Tumblr. You can download it here!
Ever wanted to give your sims truly unique eyebrows that were a bit asymmetrical? Now, you can do that! Yay!!
These are available to use in CAS and BodyShop and are enabled for males and females of all ages. (LOD15 faces are supported!) You can find these sliders in the Brow category and are called Asymmetrical Inner Brow Height - Left and Asymmetrical Inner Brow Height - Right in the game.
These shouldn’t conflictwith any of the already existing sliders in-game or any other custom sliders made by other creators as they have their own GUIDs.
This was actually pretty fun to create to be honest. So, you might see other custom sliders made by me in the future, lol. If you have any requests, feel free to send me a PM! :)

Just a bunch of new sliders! I included a brief description of each one so you can choose what to keep and what to delete. They are shown in order in the preview.
Personal sliders
Face depth. Ideal to create sims with flatter faces.
Outer Eye Corner Position. Moves the outer corner of the eye horizontally. May cause deformation of the eye texture.
Inner Eye Corner Position. Moves the inner corner of the eye horizontally. May cause deformation of the eye texture.
Pupil Height. Moves the middle of the eye up and down. I made this one to fix those eyesets with off-centered pupils. Not perfect, but does the job!
Septum Height. Moves the vertex that connects the nose with the face up and down.
Septum Depth. Moves the vertex that connects the nose with the face in and out.
Septum Height V2. Moves the vertex between the nosetip and the face up and down.
Requested sliders
Nosetip Pinch. Makes the nosetip sharper or rounder.
Nosetip Height. Moves the nosetip up and down.
Greek nose. Gives your sims a straight nose with a prominent glabella. The end result will vary depending of which face template you apply the slider to.
Chin Width. Changes the width of the chin without making it rounder.
Ears Height. Moves the ears up and down.
Upper Lip Size. Changes the size of the upper lip by moving its vertices up and down instead of resizing them.
Upper Lip Asymmetry. Makes one side of the upper lip bigger than the other.
Teeth Remover. Teeth are overrated anyway!! 😤😤😤
Lower Lip Size. Changes the size of the lower lip by moving its vertices up and down instead of resizing them.
Lower Lip Asymmetry. Makes one side of the lower lip bigger than the other.
Lower Lip Shape. Gives the lower lip the appearance of an inverted upper lip (it’s hard to explain lol). The end result will vary depending of which face template you apply the slider to.

Can you share the slider on /post/184858130195/ Please ?
Sure, why not lol. Threw another old one in too because yes.
Tumblr media
Face Length Slider. Increases or decreases the length of the face. Eyes, mouth, teeth and nose are also affected. Very fun to look at tbh.
Lids Depth Slider. Good for creating heavy eyelids or monolids.

Anonymous Asks
Anonymous asked: hi! is there a slider that can adjust the size of the neck? thanks in advance!
Hello! I haven’t seen one as of now. I will reblog it here if I do find one :)
Anonymous asked: Is it possible to make body sliders for ts2? Like for hands, height, butt, weight, chest, etc. ?
Unfortunately not. TS2 sliders are only limited to the sim’s head :(
Anonymous asked: is it possible for custom sliders to conflict with each other?
It is possible. A replacement or an edited version of a slider could conflict  with an older version. Also, creators usually create a new package for each slider, so the chances of conflicting sliders are quite low.

Here are two sliders that have been very useful lately:
Eyelash Remover Slider. This is the updated version of my No Eyelashes Slider. They use the same package, so you can’t have both in your game. This one moves and resizes the whole eyelash mesh instead of just pushing back the first row of vertices. Same goal, but the new one doesn’t seem to cause glitchy eyelashes.
Teeth Height Slider. Sometimes when you heavily edit your sims faces their mouth and teeth become misaligned. This slider moves the denture up and down so you can relocate it in its right position.
Yeah, the thumbnails aren’t the usual ones. That’s because doing them this way it’s easier for me and tbh these sliders were mostly for personal use, but I just can’t help sharing everything I make lol. Please let me know if you run into any problem with them, especially the teeth one. For some reason it made BS crash at first but then it worked just fine??

more sliders everyone!
24 Sliders
Tumblr media
This is a set of 24 face sliders available to use in Bodyshop, CaS and the plastic surgery machine. I tried not to recreate sliders made by other creators but I somewhat failed.
Features
they create inheritable facial features (if not applied in the plastic surgery machine)
since sims files do not contain any information about used sliders, sims created using custom sliders will be displayed properly and can be edited without problems if you haven’t these sliders installed
adjusted to various age groups and genders (since it isn’t possible to make a slider work perfectly with every face archetype, I’ve made it statistical way)
if it were possible, support for low detail faces (they’re sometimes used to create households thumbnails)
They’re the same as in the 20 Sliders set but I forgot to write about them that time.
Contents of the set
5 full face siders:
cheek raise
upper jowl width
ear depth difference
ear shape
outer orbit depth
1 brow slider:
eyebrow center shift
15 eye sliders:
upper eyelid curve
upper eyelid lift
lower eyelid curve
upper eyelid shift
eyelid crease curve
eyelid crease lift
upper eyelid height
upper eyelid width
eye corners distance
eye corners height difference
lower eyelid shift
eye bag curve
eye bag lift
lower eyelid height
lower eyelid width
1 nose slider:
nostril rotation
1 mouth slider:
philtrum depth
1 jaw & chin slider:
jaw definition

Conflicts The sliders themselves won’t conflict with anything but their icons use a Maxis group so slider creators have to be careful while setting instances for icons.

VERY Late-To-The-Party Sliders (Part 2)
Well, like a year ago I said I was putting the finishing touches & previews on these & guess what.  I still have a few in my to-do folder.
Single-Direction Sliders: These only slide in one direction, the right side does nothing.
Alien Nose (from the EAxis Alien face template)
I’ve been using this to create Alien-fied versions of other nose templates.
Elf Ear (from the EAxis Elf face template)
I know there are like a dozen elf ears running around. These match the EAxis ones.
Bi-Directional Sliders: Functions as a normal slider
Upper Eye Apex
Lip Curve Left Up/Down
Lip Curve Right Up/Down
Lip Center Pinch
Doesn’t do a whole heck of a lot on its own, I’ve mostly been using it to adjust other lip sliders.
Chin Rotate
Asymmetrically turns the chin to create an uneven jawline.

Ten more sliders because you can never have enough sliders, amirite??? If your suggestion didn’t make it to this set don’t worry because I plan to release another one very soon! Also I know some thumbnails look the same but trust me, the sliders do different stuff lol.

I hate it when I find the perfect eyeshadow for my sims but it gets distorted because of their eyelid shape. Well, that shit’s over! I made these sliders to fine-tune the lids. Hopefully you’ll find them useful too!

hey, for anyone who can’t download from the original link, here is a backup download link that should hopefully work
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As promised yesterday: Two new simple custom sliders for the nose (as modelled by Randomly Generated Geoff)!
On the right, we have the nose bridge angle slider, useful for making pointier nose bridges in profile view.
On the left, we have the nose bridge curve slider. There’s one of these in-game already, but the maxis one’s curve starts lower down the nose in profile view. The curve on mine starts higher up, which for some noses produces smoother results when making noses that curve outwards, particularly on those with higher bridges (click here to see more previews and the difference between mine and maxis). Play around with both this one and maxis’ to see which offers better results.
Note: I’d designed both of these sliders to only really be used with the function on the left, but kept both two-directional just in case someone could get some use out of them that way, although they don’t work as well sliding to the right.
Not sure how useful these will be to anyone else, and they work better in some cases than others (could be said for a lot of even the Maxis sliders though) but hey, might as well share! And of course, if I messed up somewhere and these sliders are broken or cause conflicts I didn’t notice, give me a shout and I’ll fix the problem as soon as possible.
