Diego Hargreeves x female!oc | prologue
Meeting Klaus (the best friend)
Amity Bernard had recently moved to New York, finding the busy city the antithesis of what she was used to, the perfect place to start anew. With the sudden death of her parents, she decided she wanted a change of scenery- what better than a country claiming to be the best in the world? Amity quickly disputed this statement when someone attempted to mug her as she left the airport, but by then she had already committed herself to the move- surely everyone at home would laugh at her if she returned before she had even experienced a day in America. That's why she chose to swallow her regrets and continue her trek towards her new flat, and four months later she could not be happier with her decision.
Amity hadn't left her flat much, other than to walk to the cafe where she worked, so when she saw a poster advertising a book club not far from her home she immediately jumped at the opportunity to make new friends whilst doing something she loved. The next day she held her head up high as she walked inside the grim-looking building, easily finding the room for the book club. As she entered she noticed a small number of curious individuals, she would have never placed them as the book loving types but you can't judge books by their greasy, scruffy, dreary appearances. They all stared at her expectantly as she shuffled closer, suddenly very conscious of her skirt that left her long legs on display for wandering eyes. Discreetly, she wrapped her jacket closer to her body as she made eye contact with a tall guy with curly, brown hair. As he suddenly made his way towards her, she smiled nervously and debated running back to her flat and barricading herself in her bedroom. Without warning he was in front of her and placing his large hands on her shoulders, looking her up and down. 'You,' he hummed whilst placing one of his finger on his chin and stroked his goatee, 'what are you in her for?' 'What we are all here for?' Amity chuckled, anxiously, averting her eyes from his overwhelming inspection. 'That's the spirit,' he laughed loudly and shook her slightly with the hand still placed on her shoulder. Abruptly, he leaned down to her face and whispered in her face, 'Did you bring some with you?' he scrutinised her smaller frame, trying to find where she could have hidden it. 'Oh!' Amity exclaimed, 'I didn't know we had to bring some with us, I thought they would be provided.' She hoped she wouldn't be sent home on her first day because she didn't bring any books with her. The man laughed loudly at that, 'You are my new best friend, giggles. You don't mind if I call you that, do you?' he didn't wait for a response, 'Of course you don't, I'm Klaus and you are?' 'Amity Bernard,' she told him quietly, still confused on why he found her concerns so hilarious. He gave her a huge grin, before throwing his arm around her and dragging her to the centre of the room; where several chairs were placed in a circle, some already occupied.
After a few minutes, a man walked in and told everyone who wasn't already seated to sit down. He glanced at her weirdly, but soon made his way to the circle and sat down as well. 'I'm sure we all know why we're here,' Amity agreed subconsciously- she was here because she loved reading and had no friends. 'I think it would be best to get to know each other first, so could everyone please introduce themselves. We'll start with you,' he pointed at a random guy sitting next to him, 'and make our way down.' He made a motion to the man he pointed at earlier, as though telling him to hurry up. 'Hello, everyone,' a chorus of replies echoed throughout the room, 'I'm Steve and I'm addicted to drugs.' Amity thought that was a strange way to introduce yourself but didn't want to offend anyone so she just smiled and nodded. The next person spoke up, 'Hi, I'm Jay and I'm an alcoholic.' And then the next person, 'Good morning, I'm Pete and I'm a compulsive gambler.' Amity began to notice a pattern and screamed internally, she was in the wrong room. Slyly, she attempted to raise herself from her seat and sneak out of the intervention. Unfortunately, as she stood from her chair and turned around the worker took notice and called for her attention, 'Oi, girl! Where do you think you're going?' Amity's eyes widened and she tried to explain herself, 'I'm so sorry, I'm not in the right place-' He rolled his eyes at her, 'Yes, that's why you're here. None of you are in the right place and it's nothing to be ashamed of. Sit down, please, we'll give you the help you need.' 'No no no, you don't understand. I'm not meant to be here.' The man, seemingly fed up with her antics, glared at her and repeated his command sternly. Amity, afraid of confrontation, slowly fell back into her seat and looked to her left to see Klaus smirking at her worried expression. This was going to be a long day.

Avatar x child!oc
Lor'ne was a curious child, constantly wandering into the forest she yearned to learn more about. Unfortunately, because of her young age, she was forbidden to enter without one of her parents or siblings. That's why, when she overheard Lo'ak telling Spider he was going to explore the abandoned shack, she came up with a conniving plan. 'If you don't let me go with you then I'm telling sa'nu,' she huffed and crossed her small, blue arms. 'Wiya! You can be so annoying sometimes. Fine, you can come, but don't wander off,' Lo'ak glared at the girl, who responded with a toothy grin.
Later that evening, Lor'ne met Lo'ak at the fringe of the forest. The boy stood awkwardly, almost regretting his decision to go on the adventure as behind him also stood Spider and Kiri. Initially he had only wanted to go alone and now it seems as though it's a family affair. Smiling innocently, Lor'ne walked up to Lo'ak- dragging Tuk along with her. 'What is she doing here?' Lo'ak hissed to the young girl, eyeing Tuk suspiciously. 'Taking you is dangerous enough, if mum founds out I allowed both of you to join me she'll kill me.' 'Come on, Lo'ak. You'll already be in enough trouble just visiting the shack, what's a little more?' Tuk begged. Lo'ak groaned in response and began jogging towards the mythical trees and shrubs. When he realised the rest of the group wasn't following him, he glanced over his shoulder and shouted at them to keep up. Tuk turned to Lor'ne and grinned, the two of them chasing after him, quickly being overtaken by Spider and Kiri- who appeared to be in a world of their own as they giggled at one another. Lor'ne found them disgusting, all they ever did was give each other googly eyes.
Eventually, they arrived near the shack and all went their separate ways; Lor'ne and Tuk playing a game their father had taught them where one person had to chase the other and try and touch them, he said it was called 'tig'. 'Can't catch me,' Lor'ne taunted as she raced through bushes, stopping abruptly when she noticed giant feet marks in the mud. 'Woah! Look at these, they're bigger than my head.' The kids gathered around as Lo'ak inspected the tracks and soon began to follow them. When questioned on what he was doing he told the group he was following the tracks, something Lor'ne was extremely excited about. She got to go on a real adventure and solve the mystery of the humongous feet, her parents would never let her do something as fun as this.
The tracks led to the kids hoped destination, the abandoned shack. As they slyly observed as avatars dressed as humans roamed the area, Lor'ne started to feel slightly scared. The idea of an adventure didn't seem as enticing as it did just minutes ago. 'Lo'ak,' she whispered, 'I want to go home now.' Lo'ak suddenly felt guilty as he watched his sister's eyes fill with tears. Kiri embraced the girl, muttering encouraging words in her ears as she rubbed her back. Lo'ak, realising the danger he had put his family in, called his father despite the reservations he had. 'I've spotted someone, they look like avatars but they wear camouflage and assault rifles. They're six of them,' he reported. 'What is your position?' Lo'ak became hesitant, once again. 'We're at the old cabin.' 'Who are we?' Lo'ak braced himself, 'Me, Spider, Kiri... Tuk and Lor'ne.' After listening intensely, Lo'ak began to usher his family back the way they had come. Lor'ne had her hand in Tuk's as they ran in front of the others, when out of nowhere a man jumped out of the bushes and grabbed Tuk by her queue whilst another ripped Lor'ne away from her sister and grabbed her arm painfully. 'Lo'ak,' she whimpered as her family held weapons up to the blue soldiers that surrounded them.
Idk if I can be bothered to finish this but at least I gave it a go :/
