New title to be added to the archive shortly

Thanks to @folk-melody  a very generous subscriber, I have been given a link to the vast archive known as Fictionalley. They also have a story from none other than Evanesco75 - who has written oh so many classics - entitled Second Chances.

For those who know, it went down in 2018 and Ao3 hasn’t quite gotten the migration started on it yet so a wonderful person decided to set up their own archive - similar to SPEW-RC - to host/keep the close to 30K of stories from FA.

I am going to reach out to the archivist for permission to post the link here, on SPEW-RC, and so the vast treasure trove can be appreciated by so many more people.

I have to get into the back room at the SPEW-RC vault so I can add this title into the list - and then will (after I read it to make sure) have a working link sometime shortly for those who wish to read it as well. It might take a day or two since I have to reach out to Pynki in RL communication channels and make sure I have keys to get into the vaults.

Once I receive permission, I will post a link here and can start setting up a daily story recommendation for those who wish to dive face first into more Classic Fandom fic.

(This goes across various ships and more so this exceeds the HMS Good Mate, HMS Orange Crush, and Romione. I know. I’ve already started looking through the listings and names on the stories.)

Hi! Would really appreciate ur help with a fic that has been driving me crazy. I remember reading it years ago and have spent all night trawling through ff. net! It's a slightly angsty fic - Hermione decides to take a ministry job after Hogwarts before her and Ron get their act tgt. Ron goes on a holiday with Ginny/Harry to move on but Hermione ends up quitting the job and just stays at the burrow waiting for them to come back. (unlike this post) its a v well written. Does this ring any bells?

Hi! Do you know the name of a fic where Ron and Hermione have an argument bc she wears the wrong knickers and Ron accuses her of cheating? Harry has to use a code word like 'mozart' to diffuse the situation bc it stems from Ron's horcrux insecurities? thanks muchly

As a matter of fact, I do know it and where to find it. It’s by our own lovely and extremely talented @hermionewazlib on LJ at RHr-Smutfest.com. I love how the banter is in the story, how delightful it is, and let’s just face it, the smut is decadent. Everyone is in character and Ron’s a character in it, for sure. 

I hope you enjoy it as much as I do (and you might also want to read Back to Front while you’re there.)

The plot was where Hermione Granger brewed an experimental potion to understand Ron Weasley's mind. But ends up with a side effect of amplifying every kind of spell they cast. Understanding the potential use of the potion, she and Ron, share the potion with Ginny and Harry, Neville and Luna, Tonks and Lupin. Also everytime each couple, well, had sex, their amplified magic tends to create a wind vortex which wrecked up the room they were in. Can anyone identify the title/writer of said fanfic ?

Mod Diva here. Sorry this is tardy but I was out enjoying the (probably last) decent temperature day for the next 2+ months.

I’m tagging @pynki ‘cause this sounds like something that Checkmated would have had because, quite frankly, I’ve never read it. Admittedly, it sounds, well, old, like pre-2005 publishing date old.

Lemme also tag @hermionewazlib since she’s been ‘round fic longer than I have and has more connections than I do for the pre-DH fic publishing.

But man, this sounds like something I’d want to read - and not just for the icky squicky bits going on.

@callieskye do you have any notion about this one, too? If anyone has it on the index, you do (and if it’s in our vaults, I seriously need to read them again.)

Soooooooo, I thought I read a collection of stories in your vault but now I think I’m insane. Ron and Hermione smut but one story had Hermione dressed as some quidditch cheerleader. Any help in finding this collection would be awesome….and thank you so much by the way for having the vault in the first place.

This has been asked for already a long time ago and one of the suggestions was to request it from shocfix on livejournal but from what I can tell, they haven't been active for years so unfortunately I don't think that option will pan out. Hi! Was wondering if anyone had Plush and Inviting by Branded Faithfully? I came across Fate of the Generations here but just came upon the chapter that story was a missing moment from. Thanks in advance!

By the time I remember that missing Moment the sites I knew they were on had gone down, BUT I do believe we have an email address for Branded Faithfully on record when we reached out to her and I believe were contacted by her daughter offering assistance for occasions just like this. 

I’ll see if we can get our hands on a copy!

Heyo! I remember when I was like 14 I read this Romionie fic and I've never been able to find it! It had looooads of chapters, I'm talking like 50? 70? 80? It was basically just dialogue between them both at different points in their lives. The writer didn't use anyyyyyy other description except the detail in the dialouge so the reader's imagination could go wild! Have you ever heard of it? X

Anyone know of this fic?
