BBC Ghosts Headcanons Pt. 1!

This is the first installment of my BBC Ghosts headcanons! I will still be taking requests for both shows so don't worry :) Now, onto the post!

*Pat*

Loves to indulge in Sci-Fi content. Has attended conventions for Star Trek and Doctor Who.

Almost blind in his left eye from getting hit in the eye as a kid with a rock. Him and his friends were having a snowball fight and one of the friends thought it would be funny to hide a rock in one.

He treats his scout troop as a second family! Those kids are getting gifts from him before they have Christmas with their own respective families.

Allergic to shellfish. He can't have shellfish like shrimp without having a mild reaction.

Definitely got his own boys an Atari for a birthday or another holiday. He's the one that plays it with him (mainly on the controller with the boys watching).

Very good writing skills but not a talented artist. Best he could do would be stick figure variations.

*Captain*

Despite not even being the oldest ghost, gets called "old man" frequently.

Has rheumatoid arthritis (mainly in his knee joints). The main reason why he wasn't allowed on the front lines and has joint problems.

Mostly raised by his mother. His father fought in World War 1 and was killed in battle.

Tried to stay as active as he could. Would have routines before and after school as a child that would mainly consist of minor exercise and jogging.

Has definitely spent his teen years researching every weapon used in WW1 by all countries involved.

His hair started graying due to a combination of the stress of his rank as a Captain and due to an iron deficiency from his arthritis.

Headcanons for alive Isaac, alive Alberta and alive flower being around with kids?

Ok, so I'm just assuming you want all 3 interacting with kids while being alive-

No problem! I kinda smushed them together in the same post and included some others. Hope that was fine!

*Alive Interacting with Kids*

Alberta was definitely the type that would adopt kids at the drop of a hat. She loved them, despite never having any of her own. On the contrary to her bootlegging, she told the kids to do something great when they're her age. Kids would start calling her "Mama Berta" about a year or two after being around her.

Flower was great with kids when not in the cults. She would teach the younger ones how to sew and the older ones how to play basketball.

Isaac was decent when it came to kids. Most of the time, they were a bit too rowdy for him to handle. The other times, he would try to teach them the basics when it came to horses. With the ones that were able to read, he slowly introduced them to Greek classics.

Pete, being a scout leader and a father, was naturally good with kids! He always spoiled his daughter and, on occasion, the Pinecone Troop. He attempted hosting a D&D night for the young girls. Much chaos happened.

Trevor was a wild card. On one hand, he was good with kids when it came to animals. On the other, he would be that person that would hold them upside down by the ankle. Anytime he had his dog, the kids would always behave better. He took up babysitting one year in high school. Needless to say, he didn't do it the next year.

Hetty, while on the surface despised kids, actually cared for them a lot. She treated the ones in the factories well. She often took them extra clothes and food in the winter. She had to keep up the "old mean lady" persona while with Elias, but the children knew how much she actually cared for them.

Thor is also a wild card. He enjoys being around children, teaching them skills he learned at that age, but also can be a bit aggressive. He's more gentle around the younger ones. Thor teaches the older kids how to do specific things like how to fish, hiding your own scent (ex: his pelts covered in wolf urine), and how to hunt.

Sasappis is decent with kids. He teaches them, while out in the woods, which berries are ok, how to track animals, and how to make simple tools. He's more on the "work with them" side rather than have any of his own.

Hope these were up to par!

Any headcanons for how (bad) Isaac hid he was gay when he was alive?

*Gay Panic*

He actually hid it pretty well! There were very few people who actually knew! Although, some people (mainly a few of his men during the war) had suspicions.

He actually studied how other men would act around women or talk about them in general. He used the information he gathered and would apply it in public.

(Don't know if it counts but still putting it here-) Would often try to avoid going to the taverns due to the amount of men hitting on the women making him uncomfortable. In these cases. he would go apologize to the women on their behalf.

Isaac would, without a doubt, sketch his current beau. This would be done within the security of his own home. While being a bit cliché, he would also draw little hearts beside the sketches. Beatrice has kept these drawings in a locked box for obvious reasons.

A bit more harder to hide it during the war due to the amount of other people and lack of privacy.

There isn't a lot to talk about but here's what I can come up with!

Headcanons pt 6 (Sam & Jay)

The last major part of my CBS Ghosts Headcanons! I will still be taking requests, so don't worry! (I'm actually working on like 4 different requests at the time of posting this- feel free to send more!)

*Sam*

She picked up a lot of skills (and other mannerisms) from the ghosts! A lot of the new skills were taught to her by Hetty while a lot of her new phrases come from Pete.

Embroidery. Something new that Hetty taught her. Since then, Sam discovered that the likes to embroider flowers onto her shirt collars.

She cannot cook. Sam has tried on multiple occasions and even Jay has tried to help her. It has just been decided that she can't cook.

She has a schedule for the ghosts so they don't disturb her as much during certain times (unless in an emergency). Mainly the morning and evening hours she has set for just her and Jay.

Tries not to swear around the ghosts. Ends up hearing Trevor swear once and just gives up. Still tries not to swear as frequently.

Likes to go all out on holidays. Yes, even the minor ones such as St. Patrick's Day and Fourth of July (with some restrictions). Outfits have to be coordinated with them.

*Jay*

Has his favorite recipes listed in order of type of dish. The categories consists of soups, different types of meat, sandwiches, and other ones.

His wardrobe only consists of video game shirts, a few fancy ones, and tons of button ups.

Eventually found a few people in town to start a small D&D group. They meet on Thursday evenings for a few hours for smaller sessions.

Owns an original SNES that still functions somehow. Doesn't know how it still works, but it does. It never has a speck of dust on it.

Figured out how to have a conversation with Pete. It took a while since Jay had to learn Morse code. However, now they can talk without Sam having to translate!

Very allergic to wasps and bees. When they were first renovating the mansion, he would not step foot near the nests. Sam had to be the one to get rid of them.

Took a while for me to complete the mainline headcanons, but they are done! I can start doing BBC Ghosts next week! Like I said, I will still be doing requests for more headcanons for CBS Ghosts!

Headcanons for Beatrice higgentoot the violinist?

Of course!

*Violinist Beatrice*

She learned to play the violin from her mother! Her main violin was actually belonged to her mother and was considered a wedding gift.

She has tried on multiple occasions to try to teach Isaac how to play the violin. Every time she does, it never ends well. Somehow, the strings always need to be replaced afterwards.

She never plays in public, only in private. Beatrice plays the violin only in her house or at either hers or Isaac's parent's house.

Beatrice claims she has no favorites when it comes to the music that Isaac writes for her. She does. Her top favorites are the ones he first wrote for her when he discovered that she played the violin.

Her violin is made from a combination of maple and spruce wood. 90% of the violin is made from maple while the front plate is made from spruce. Her initials are engraved onto the tailpiece on the front.

The last time she picked up the violin was when she heard that Isaac had died. She played the last piece that he wrote for her on a previous wedding anniversary. Since then, she just kept it in the case underneath her bed.

I really enjoy expanding smaller headcanons so much!

Got any headcanons for Isaac and Alexander Hamilton as well as Isaac celebrating July 4th?

Answering this one cause today is Treason Day for the US! (I'm American)

*Classic Rival Shenanigans*

These two hate each other with a burning passion. Mainly one sided on Isaac's side. Hamilton only forgot Isaac's name because he was busy. It's literally hilarious to watch them be in the same room.

Isaac likes to brag about being taller than him. It's one of his favorite things that makes him feel better than Hamilton in some way.

Pretty funny how Isaac wasn't even alive for almost all of Hamilton's achievements. Like, imagine his face when he heard that Hamilton cheated on his wife. Pure shock.

They literally only met twice. Isaac just chose him since Hamilton forgot his name. Talk about being petty.

Letters. So many passive aggressive letters between the two. They even had a system- randomly capitalize letters to form secret messages. Not really anything to hide in the letters but it was essentially just to curse each other out without having to actually write it.

*4th of July :)*

Long story short, they don't really do fireworks at Woodstone. Mainly for the purpose of that there are several war ghosts (and also the potential of a stray ember causing a fire).

After roughly 2.5 centuries, Isaac finally has the best one yet. Sure, things are only slightly tense between him and Nigel, but they've learned to just put it behind them.

Sam and Jay have a small bonfire for the ghosts. Stories are told from previous experiences with the 4th.

After everyone else goes inside for the night, Isaac and Nigel like to go to their tree and just stay there the rest of the night.

It's essentially just like every other year. Only this time, he has his new family (+husband) to enjoy the moments with him.

I despise loud noises and thus I will not be getting any sleep tonight due to my neighbors setting of fireworks (and I need to get up early tomorrow to go to the DMV)

What if Sam finds one of Isaac’s surviving charcoal drawings?

Now this will be interesting 👀

*Charcoal Artist 2: Electric Boogaloo*

It is found by sheer coincidence. Sam and Jay found this old wooden box in the ground while they were fixing up the garden. Took a while to open it due to a sturdy lock (that somehow was still doing its job after almost 2 centuries).

The box was filled with different sizes of paper. Each piece had some kind of drawing on it. The drawings ranged from a small depiction of a landscape to a bird on a tree branch and everything in between.

Of course, suspecting it to be a ghost thing, the box was brought inside. She did, very carefully, take out the contents of said box and put them on the table. The ghosts, the ones present anyways, tried to figure out who's these could be. Didn't appear to be anyone they knew, right?

Of course, Sam asks them if they know anyone on the property who had this talent. They didn't know either. That is until Isaac came in, asking what everyone was huddled around. He simply stopped dead (lmao) in his tracks and just stared at the drawings.

No one had seen him this quiet before. Then there was a small smile. Now, he did inquire on the whereabouts of the box before it was brought it. Sam told him where they found it and, of course, then asked him if he knew the artist.

He tells every one present that he's the artist, even giving out specific dates on different drawings. He just seems so overjoyed at seeing them. Sam can't hold it in her heart to just sell them to some kind of historical museum.

Sam asks Isaac if he wants her to keep them in the attic, with all the rest of the important ghost stuff. No matter the answer, she was going to put them up there anyways. Isaac insists that she does whatever she feels what's right.

Sam does put the rest of the drawings in the attic. However, there is a framed drawing of a cardinal on a branch. It hangs right above the fireplace in the main room for everyone to see.

I never expexted to expand on a tiny headcanon to literally a possible sub-plot in an episode cause this entire post is exactly that. I love it so much. Fun fact: I don't prefer using charcoal to draw. It's a texture issue for me.

Headcanons for pre death Trevor?

Yeah!! Of course I do!

*Pre-Death Trevor*

Does not have a business degree. He actually doubled-majored in cultural studies and math. Got the job at Wall Street through one of his college buddies that actually majored in business.

Due to his heart condition, he was actually permitted to have a service dog with him at work! Her name was Sadie and she was a golden retriever.

A pretty ok cook. He couldn't make anything complicated, but he did know enough to get by. Loves to make different types of eggs for breakfast before work.

He has a small bi flag in his apartment. He keeps it on his bedside table beside a picture of his family. His bed also has plaid sheets and matching pillow cases.

Can't actually flirt to save his life. While a hopeless romantic, he just crumples on the floor after receiving one compliment. His current attempts at "flirting" are mainly based off of comments he heard his coworkers say.

100% done cliche guy things after socially transitioning. Tried to get into football so he could be "one of the guys" and ended up ironically getting into it. Still doesn't completely understand it, but has enough knowledge to keep track of scores.

They have a schedule for when they shout at each other. Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays are when they get to do that!

Cod. Multiple conversations about cod. Different types, how to cook it, how to catch it, etc. Anything and everything about cod.

Them talking about Bjorn's family! Bjorn loves to talk about his wife and children.

A lot of trying to catch up the many years that they've missed. Thor starts this by talking about what happened after he left his family.

Sometimes they don't even talk to each other during their conversations. They just like to know that the other is there for them.

Often, one or the other will bring another ghost to join in on their conversations! Most of the time it's either Pete or Flower on Thor's side.

I have a lot more headcanons, but I wanted to go ahead and get this one done in June so it's still Pride Month by the time it publishes. Also, I'm glad that you enjoy reading them! It brings me joy to make them for y'all!

*Pride Month at Woodstone*

Sam and Jay ordered as many flags as possible since they wanted to make sure everyone felt welcome at Woodstone. They roughly spent $25 on all of them (they got good discounts with it being Pride Month).

Hetty taught Sam how to embroider. Sam ended getting one of those American flags that have the rainbow stripes and embroidered the stars with the trans flag.

The driveway up to the manor has tiny flags. A few end up getting stolen each year, but they stock up on them so it's okay.

Progress flag right behind the desk on the stairwell. The desk has a tiny bisexual flag in the pen cup.

The ghosts adore how colorful the manor is. They say that Sam and Jay should keep the flags up year round. They end up keeping the rainbow American flag up year round to keep them satisfied.

Pete came up with the idea that the guests should be able to get a small pride flag for free during their stay if they wish. It ended up being a great idea! They now have the reputation of giving out free pride flags during June.

Trevor is the one to actually help hold ladders while they put up the flags. He likes to feel included in help putting them up.

I had fun coming up with these!

Headcanons for Isaac the charcoal artist?

Of course I do! Hope you enjoy them! :)

*Charcoal Artist Isaac*

He always brought a small case that held his charcoals along with paper. Especially if he knew that he would spend most of his time outside somewhere.

His favorite things to draw were animals and landscapes. Getting the texture of the grass and fur/feathers to look right were always a challenge and would often leave his hands smudged with charcoal for a few days.

Actually sketched Nigel a few days before he accidentally shot him. He still carries it around in a pocket somewhere on him. He stayed up late to actually make the drawing.

Adored seeing Beatrice's reactions to his drawings of her despite them not actually being romantically involved. It always brightened his day to see her light up at them.

He would actually get paid a small amount if a complete stranger came up to him and asked for them to be sketched. He would never decline a figure to practice on.

He actually started his little hobby as a child. He would pick up cooled down coals from the fireplace and just draw little things on scrap pieces of paper that was lying around.

I love making little details about these characters so much!! I also love it when I get to expand on previous headcanons :)

I’m still LOVING your Nisaac headcannons! They’re adorable!! And for your next Nisaac headcannons (when you’re feeling better of course, for me it took over a month to recover from getting my wisdom teeth removed) can you do ones with them sharing a bed? I already picture Isaac wanting to be closest to the door for protective reasons and Nigel being like a big cuddle bug, basically koala hugging Isaac during the whole night omg that would be so cute 🥺

*Nisaac Bed Sharing*

Isaac is mainly the big spoon for protective reasons. He absolutely wants to be near the door just in case of any intruders come barging in. He doesn't want any harm to his dearly beloved.

Nigel would casually hold onto Isaac like a koala during the night without any awareness to it. This has led to many mornings with them not getting up on their normal schedule. Mainly because Isaac doesn't have the heart to move Nigel so they can fully wake up.

Isaac is essentially a heat generator at night. The nights are slightly less cold.

Took a while to get used to actually being in the same bed with each other. Lots of awkward positioning trying to get the right feeling. After about a week, they found that just holding each other suits them just right :)

They have preferences on what side of the bed they have. Isaac prefers the right side (it's closest to the door) while Nigel prefers the left side.

They spend most of the night just talking to each other. They could talk about anything but they just enjoy talking about each other.

Sometimes, usually during the summer, they could be found in the library sleeping on the settee in each others arms during afternoons.

Them. King sized bed. Cuddling. That is all. I really appreciate getting asks like these btw!
