BTS Character Profiles

Here are character profiles for Lenox Hill. These are here to give insight on the characters before the story. Enjoy!

Jeon Jungkook

- son of politicians

- born overseas in Korea, but raised in between New York City with his parents and Los Angeles with his grandparents

- older brother and distant older sister

- his family’s money is inheritance from multiple generations of successful businessmen, monarchs, socialities, etc.

- youngest of the bunch

- kind of an asshole

- but deep down very sweet

- closest to Seokjin

- also close to Namjoon

- him and Taehyung are no longer friends they used to be best friends

- parents are close in proximity, but distant emotionally

- likes to party

- troublemaker

- easily distracted

- likes photography

- beautiful singing voice its how he met Jimin

- doesn’t really think laws apply to him

- trying to turn his life around after a dark few years

- doesn’t stop him from making dumb decisions

Kim Taehyung

- son of socialites and art gallery owners

- born in New York, but has visited Korea many times to visit relatives

- younger sister

- best friend is Yoongi, close second is Jimin

- younger sister

- abusive father

- mother passed away during childbirth

- paternal grandparents are very involved in him and his sister’s lives

- him and Jungkook were inseparable, now they can’t stand each other

- Taehyung tries though

- physically fought each other once

- dating an aspiring model he met his last year of high school

- also like photography

- his family’s money is well earned and honest

- very extroverted, everyone loves him

- wants everyone to get along

- tends to worry, but doesn’t express his worry usually until it’s too late

Park Jimin

- son of a former dancer and a former pageant winner/current socialite

- born in Los Angeles, but lived in New York since he was 17

- only been to Korea a few times, but speaks the language fluently due to tutors and family members

- only child

- very close to his parents

- was abused by a close family friend for four years, between the ages 13 and 17.

- went to therapy for it

- dances since he was able to walk

- likes to sing

- met Hoseok as a child, became best friends instantly

- Hoseok saved his life once

- him and Yoongi were kind of an on/off thing for a while, then tried being friends with benefits, then back to a relationship, before Yoongi abruptly cut it off one day

- they are still close friends tho

- him and Jungkook’s friendship is complicated

- they met in therapy in New York

- met the others in late High School and University

- doesn’t know when to stop working

- cares about others way more than he should

- overthinker

- loves too hard

- isn’t as innocent as he seems

- craves attention, but doesn’t know how to receive it due to him rarely getting it

Kim Namjoon

- son of Korean-born parents, who moved to New York to get involved with the Fashion and Modeling industry

- Mother was a designer and Father was a manager and event coordinator

- born in Korea, along with his elder brother, who owns a pharmacy

- younger sister was born in New York

- extremely smart

- started modeling at 11

- was blessed with amazing genes, so doesn’t have to diet much

- wanted to make money on the side, so got involved in some somewhat shady business, involving his brother and his pharmacy

- very close to his youngest sister

- him and Seokjin dated for a long time, and live together

- broke up because they wanted to preserve their friendship

- but they tried the friends with benefits thing, so now it’s just complicated

- sister also models

- kind-hearted

- also not as innocent as he seems

- close to Yoongi

- tries and fails to parent Jungkook

Jung Hoseok

- son of a school teacher and stay-at home mom

- mother is weathly due to inheritance

- born in Los Angeles, but lived in Korea as a young child with his grandparents, returned to the states around age 9

- dance is his entire world

- doesn’t come from as much money as the others, but still considered important

- older sister, who still lives in Los Angeles

- met jimin when he was 11, instant best friend

- tends to hide his feelings

- extremely talented

- suffers from panic attacks, and depression from time to time

- got into LHU on a full scholarship, based solely on his talent

- has very awful nightmares about his grandfather’s death 10 years ago

- him and Yoongi are very close, and talk everyday

- has a crush on the co-captain of the LHU dance team

- supported Yoongi and Jimin’s relationship on the surface, but secretly thought it was a terrible idea

- thankful for the opportunities his friends get him in New York

- hopeless romantic

- longs for Yoongi

- media and paparazzi are interested in him because of the others, he thinks its weird

Min Yoongi

- son of a pharmacist and stay-at-home mom

- born in Korea, but his parents moved to New York when he was 12

- he loves New York and Korea equally

- tsundere

- not wealthy himself, but his parents had money and cut him off due to his music dreams

- he has to work harder to please them so he can survive in Uni

- awarded a full scholarship at LHU

- best friends with Taehyung, for as long as he can remember

- treats Taehyung’s younger sister as his own

- since his grandparents died when he was young, he is close to Taehyung’s grandparents

- hates Taehyung’s father, but never disrespects him

- little bit of an asshole

- in love with Jimin

- tried the relationship thing but...

- Hoseok is also close to him

- there’s a lot of unspoken feelings between them

- they will always adore each other

- anyways

- not the best childhood

- judgemental family

- good person

- has issues with expressing himself

- doesn’t like that the media and paparazzi follow him around because of his friends

- tries to avoid the spotlight

- semi-famous music producer before he even graduated high school

- tries to avoid going to fancy events his friends’ family throws

Kim Seokjin

- son of the CEO of a news and broadcasting company and a former Miss Korea

- born in Korea, traveled be tween Korea, New York, and Los Angeles very frequently

- raised behind the scenes of news and television his entire life

- was always told he had the looks and personality for TV

- well-rounded child, from being enrolled in martial arts to a junior culinary school

- meet young Jungkook when his parents invited over the famous Jeons over for dinner while they were in Manhattan

- he took Jungkook under his wing, taught him what his actual older brother failed to do

- president of the broadcasting club on campus

- has a beautiful 1956 Pink Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight Holiday he bought himself, which he only drives in his free time

- him and Namjoon have a long history

- Seokjin thinks they are better as friends

- very business oriented

- very good with words

- persuasive

- good with money

- close to his family

- elder sister

- love galas and balls

- however, not really a party person

- only goes to take care of the others

BTS Social Media AU

Lenox Hill University of Enriched Studies, or LHU for short, was a private university located in Lenox Hill, New York, which held in either the really talented or really wealthy (or both) of Uptown New York. The sons and daughters of politicians, celebrities, and royalty came from around the world to attend the prestigious institution, filled with the best professors from around the world. Students can either choose to live on or off campus, however off campus is limited to seniors, graduate students, and second semester juniors. The university has one of the best performing arts programs in all of New York, with it’s main competitor being Julliard or the Tisch School of Arts at New York University.
