St. Mary's Academy Reunion

Oh the days go by, don't they? It's been years since the Students have graduated, and now it's time for everyone to come together again. We invite all the attendee's of St. Mary's Academy to join us for a get together; a reunion of the old students of our fair school as we see how far we've all come since graduation.

The Class Reunion will be tonight from 7 PM EST- 12 AM EST, kicking off SMA2.

The party will be held on AIM.

We encourage all RPers to attend, and have a final close to their characters. 

This will be the last event of SMA 1, and tomorrow, SMA 2 starts off full-swing.

The Final Week is upon us!

That's right, RPers. SMA1 will be closing on March 1st, and SMA2 will be opening, as most of you know. It's hard to believe that it's been nine months since St. Mary's started. I'll save my last speech stuff for later, but I just wanted to remind you guys how great it's been with you all. 

The final week of St. Mary’s Generation One is upon us, and we have some last few tasks for everyone to complete throughout our last weeks with our characters. Even though G1 is ending, don’t just let your characters die out; finish off strong, and close them off in a good place. Each day, we’ll have a task for you to complete, and you can pick from the two options, or do both if you wish. Day 01- A year after graduating It’s time for adult life to begin. Write a self para of your character arriving at college, or being interviewed for a job, depending on which direction they decided to go after high school ended. Or: Write a journal entry for your character. Have them talk about what they’re doing, how they’ve been since graduation, who they keep in touch with, their relationship status, and anything else you want to include for their life so far. Keep in mind, it’s only been one year since they’ve left St. Mary’s, so they haven’t become the President, or something.

Have fun with this, and just do it your own way if you want. Just little things to give yourself closure.

Ball Time!

Guess who's back? Destinee had a hard drive malfunction that resulted in her not being on most of the time, as most of you already know. However, mama has a new laptop, with Windows 8 and she's back in Admin business.

So, we're pushing the time back just a bit, and starting the dance off at 7 PM tonight! Get on your AIM accounts and message me at dancing.stanzel to be added to the chats! Don't miss out! This is going to be one of the last dances, if not the last, that the "school" has. Most likely, there'll be more AIM events, but don't miss out on the dance. They're always fun.

SMA is the best. I can't wait for gen 2! I'm so happy we're all staying together because, honestly, you all are the most amazing people in the world. Especially the admins.

Woah guys.

I'm seeing some OOC hate on the dash. Now, that is simply unacceptable. It's plainly stated in the rules that it isn't allowed, and guys, really. We're are basically one big, dysfunctional family. You may not like everyone here, but that does not give you the right to hate on someone, especially if you're doing it anonymously. Just know that if we find out who sent it, you will have to suffer the consequences. We have a zero tolerance policy addressing it, and you will receive at the very least a warning. If you have a problem with someone OOC, you do not have to speak with them. You're not expected to like everyone here, but I repeat, OOC hate is unacceptable.

So, it's February already! Crazy, right? Well, here's your friendly reminder that the Valentine's Day ball is coming up--soon!

RSVP Policy:

We are extending RSVPs til Monday, February 11. Check out the post here and remember to message us regarding your characters.

We need to know if:

Your character will be attending the ball and have asked a date (& who their date is)

Your character will be attending the ball and need help from Cupid (be given a date)

Your character will not be attending the ball

Please note that you only need to RSVP once but we need to know about all of your characters. Once we receive enough RSVPs, we'll pair up Cupids and really get plans for the dance going!

I do want to address the recent drop in activity. It's understandable--the weather's been crazy, people have midterms, family problems, etc. But we do request that you put effort in to contact an admin (tumblr msg, text, IM, etc) to let us know if you're going to be gone, okay? G2 preparations are underway but we aren't done with G1 just yet!
