Nobody truly understood Tamlin like Teeth did. Yet, at the same time, even Teeth couldn’t grasp the thought process happening inside that red head. Experiencing all of time at the same time is worse than any torture humanity created. It’s worse than any horrid crimes Teeth’s brethren committed. Because it isn’t done by someone else as a punishment. It’s your own existence. The very fact that you live is enough for reality to punish you. He never chose this. You gave him those powers, those thoughts, and now you punish him for it? 

Truly, life is full of irony. The worst kind of irony. Because even the thing, that lived for thousands of years, that carries blood of entire civilizations long forgotten, can look at pain of Joseph Tamlin without fear. Without tears at their eyes. Tears nobody knew they could shed.

But somehow... Tamlin always rises. He always stands up above his traumas. Because his work in this world isn’t done yet. And it might never end, knowing him...

Universe where time travel just exists. Tamlin is the best mechanic of time machines. He is literally the richest man in the country, but tired of it all. He disguises himself as an average club-goer. Teeth is a completely normal club-goer, who is tired of time travelers and just tries to relax from them. Joey and Teeth fall in love with each other, but Tamlin knows, that his partner hates his actual profession and tries desperately to hide the truth.
