I was shocked and saddened to read Carl Weathers passed away. I will miss him and the show/movie etc. won't ever be the same without him. I wonder if it is better to keep Greef alive in our fan fictions as tribute or have him pass on too? I doubt anyone could replace Carl on the screen but I am thinking he should live on in fictions.

Someone posted earlier that they wanted to see REAL Baby Yoda as in Grogu as a real baby, not a toddler. I agree! I wish sometime in the future they have a flashback scene that shows a tiny baby Grogu. I wonder though do "Yodas" have mammary glands? Or do their children start out eating frogs and such? He likes milk doesn't he? I don't remember if he ever drank it on the show or if it is just in fan fictions! I couldn't tell by the Yaddle in the movies and I don't remember if the cartoon Yaddle had breasts or not. ANYway I have gathered some of the artwork I've collected that shows him as younger IMO than he is on the show. I think KayleeBeeMarie has the best and cutest tiny baby yoda cartoons there are. Whenever I can I go to her etsy store and order a few more stickers or prints. Sadly most of the artwork is not signed or the signatures are illegible. Note to artists please sign your work and make it readable so people can find you and buy it! I hope everyone enjoys the collection.

This was meant to be a quick warm up, but it turned into a comic that I’ve wanted to draw for a while. This is something that is extremely important to me, and I appreciate it if you read it.

A while ago, I heard a story that broke my heart. A family went a cat shelter to adopt. The daughter fell in love with a 3-legged cat. The father straight up said “absolutely not”. Because he was missing a leg. That cat was that close to having a family that loved him, but the missing leg held him back. Why?!

Many people have the initial instinct of “nope” when they see an imperfect animal. I get it, but less-adoptable does NOT mean less loveable. 9 out of 10 people will choose a kitten over an adult cat. And those 10% that would get an adult cat often overlook “different” animals.

All I want people to do is be open to the idea of having a “different” pet in their lives. Choose the pet that you fall in love with, but at least give all of them a fair shot at winning your heart.

Don’t dismiss them, they deserve a loving home just as much as any other cat. They still purr, they still love a warm lap, they still play, they still love you. Trust me, next time you are in the market for a new kitty, just go over to that one cat that’s missing an eye and see what he’s all about!

Dincember 2023 - Day 7: Star

The night sky had a way of looking constantly different, yet always familiar. No matter where you stood in the galaxy, the same stars would look back at you. Quiet observers of hundreds of different worlds from lightyears away.

They were shining bright that night, clear against the endless ocean of space. The forest surrounding the village was asleep, so were the ponds and the huts who had shut their lights for the most part.

‘’So,’’ Cara took a sip of spotchka and pointed at the sky with her cup. ‘’Tell me about this one.’’

‘’Umbris. The larger one right under? That’s D’Qar.’’

Cara nodded with a smile. She pointed at another star. ‘’That one.’’

Din thought for a few seconds. ‘’Ala-Charu. It’s a moon.’’

The trooper sat back with a chuckle. ‘’Okay, you win. I admit, I’m almost impressed.’’

Din scoffed. They sat in amicable silence, enjoying the warm night on the porch of the barn. The child was tucked in his bassinet, sleeping soundly. Cara had brought a bottle of fresh spotchka, which she drank mostly by herself. Din held his own cup in a loose grip, resting it over his crossed leg and watching the glowing blue liquid swirl around.

‘’Can we see Mandalore from here?’’ she asked eventually in an attempt at reviving the conversation.

Din sighed. ‘’Yes.’’ He pointed two fingers towards a dull star. ‘’Over there. It’s harder to see it since it was... damaged.’’ He trailed his fingers slightly upward. ‘’Concordia is still visible, though.’’

Cara hummed. ‘’I still don’t get how you can remember all that.’’

‘’Memorizing.’’

‘’Memorizing?’’ Cara stared at him in disbelief, before she grinned. ‘’You’re unbelievable...’’

The Mandalorian rolled his eyes, small smile hidden behind his helmet. He was growing fond of this woman. He caught himself hoping, a selfishness he couldn’t afford, that she would stay a little longer, just long enough to remind him what it felt like to have a friend.
