I love this, she would fit perfectly in the setting.
I have a thing where I name all my TTRPG characters after killers, real or fictional. My newest Cyberpunk character is a Medtech named Annie Wilkes. Her main weapon is a sledgehammer.
To expand on this further, a few parts of this are currently being reused for something SU related I'm working on now (5 years so far, phew)
I will be posting a few more things I had created for this and maybe some hints for the new project.
I suppose this would be fun to talk about as very few people outside of my friend circle are aware of this little project from 2019-2020 that while I don't have any interest in working on, I still wanna get whatever I have left of it out.
What I wanted this to be was in concept a Steven Universe goldsource mod for Half-Life 1 with custom assets and all. Simple idea, hard/near impossible to execute. Combine this with the fact I had zero idea how to even map or model anything, so things were already off to a bad start; However ignoring all that I had a vision and was pretty good at editing sounds and images, so I got to work on that. Just trying to create a good picture of what I wanted.
For context about much of the stuff that will be mentioned later in this I was knee deep in depression with me slipping in and out of suicidal fits and even attempting to end my life while working on some of the things I will be showing here. The story and plot as well was affected by this greatly.
The main story was that Homeworld had taken over Earth and had made it completely uninhabitable, everything harvested, oceans nearly drained. With the main part of the plot taking place underground in this massive rail system (The Railway) which had the player (playing as Pearl) traveling throughout this rail system via different trains and carts, stopping at different locations to open gates or complete objectives while fighting homeworld gems.
In between all this however would be a few boss fights, including the Diamonds (Blue and Yellow), along with a corrupted form of Garnet who would be the first boss you fight at the start of the game after going through the chapter I called "The Tunnels".
All in all it pretty much stayed within that very basic idea with a lot of events thrown in-between them, where near the end you would be captured and have a first-person and in-game torture scene sorta like in Metal Gear Solid but way worse, as Pearl's gem had been damaged in such a way that they couldn't poof and were in every way a physical being that could take mortal damage but was still able to take GREAT amounts of pain and withstand losing limbs, such as their jaw, some of their fingers and their right eye. After that scene you would be dumped down a trash shoot and rescued by Peridot who tries to put you back together the best they could but couldn't save the eye.
After some more fighting you would reach a point where you have the choice of picking different routes, each having different outcomes based on your actions across the entire games (Saving/sparing certain characters and enemies) and would determine if you get a good or bad ending, though some endings would be worse/better than others.
If you're interested in this you're welcome to ask me whatever and I will try my best to expand on it or explain it better.
