already sent in something about my current ocs but i found an old doc of my old (forgotten) ocs and some of them are...interesting so i thought jd share

so first theres Sol. hes a gladiator forced into the arena to save his dad from getting convicted of murder?? and the MC drags him away from that in order to fulfill her own qudst. he also gets killed in a Dramatic Turn of Events.

the MC is called Gwen. she is a ex (child) soldier who "accidentally" murdered someone (theres debate on it bc the person she killed was. uh. in animal disguise. so did she know???) and is currently trying to figure out why shes getting weird visions. also if her dad is alive. also why she has magic powers.

then theres lukas, who is the Bid Bad Traitor who has an intense accidental homoerotic relationship with Sol. he also kills Sol. what fun :33

oh god and then theres Leah, sol's Official Love interest. shes. i dont know what shes doing but it was an enemies to lovers storyline.

finally, theres Damon and Phoebe, Gwen's aunt and uncle. theyre also gods. personifications of war and fear. i think.

these ocs i havent looked at in AGES but they are by far the best version of themselves 💀

two of my ocs, azure (they/he) and adanna (she/her), "met" in a museum. for extra context: adanna looks up to azure, azure is an actor and has a fairly large following, adanna is an aspiring actress.

azure made a post on one of their socials, a photo of him at a museum. right in the background was adanna, who didn't even notice azure at first. when adanna saw the notification for that post, she fangirled a little too close to the sun, walked up to azure, and stuttered her way through a simple greeting. azure, confused, waved and walked away.

two weeks later and they're cast in the same movie. azure asked if adanna was the girl from the museum and adanna got so embarrassed she nearly passed out (kinda exaggerating)

my writing and explanation kinda sucks sorry 💥 i just needed to tell someone about adanna and azure bc they're so silly

adanna so relatable skdjsk i hope they enjoy working together tho!

My oc Callie's middle name is Cassandra BC of the Cassandra from greek myths :) they're the only one with a middle name! (BC names are hard)

sometimes an oc is a pathetic lil guy who sees himself as so uninteresting and boring that as soon as he finds someone to look up to, he immediately begins semiconsciously forming his entire personality based off his idol and berates himself whenever he can't do anything his idol can.

he becomes an actor due to said idol being one, and ends up getting very uncomfortable when he eventually has to play a role too similar to himself — his real self. But of course he forces himself through it, because That's What His Idol Would've Done

Also i gave him a mirror motif 👍

A side character from my story who I want to talk about:

His name is Louis and he is a talking cat who lives in a library. He talks like a Victorian gentleman but still still behaves like a normal cat and orders humans around like a to bring him food and pet him, treating them like his servants

Louis loves to "help" people who are visiting the library and misleads them on purpose. Someone wants to know where the horror books are? Louis will lead them to the children's section. Searching for fantasy novels? Louis leads you to the autobiography section which is at the other end of the (huge) building. As soon as the person realizes that they've been tricked Louis is "gone" (he actually sits on a nearby bookshelf and enjoys the humans confusion)

Staff has repeatedly tried putting up signs that say something among the lines of "Don't listen to the cat" to warn people but to no avail because Louis always finds a way to remove the signs when no one's looking.

The reasons why he's allowed to stay despite his shenanigans are:

1. He actually does help people sometimes. Mostly new staff who doesn't know everything yet (he mostly does so in hopes of gaining their sympathy so they'll give him pats and snacks)

2. They can't get rid of him. He will always find a way to sneak in

3. They people working at the library all like cats so they can't bring themselves to bring him to a shelter (Someone even got him small glasses and a bow tie which he loves to wear)

I LOVE HIM

he's so funny i support his mischief <3

i made an oc whos story is similar to two characters from shows i haven't fully watched. am i the only one who does this? exploding sfx

i had something sorta similar happen with like. a story/legend existing on a planet within my wip (and is an incredibly important and formative memory for one of my ocs) being really similar to the plot of the new movie Wish. but i made it first sjfhsj

naming ocs is the worst part of making them for me. idk how to pick a good name. i always end up naming them steve or something.

which is why i made an oc who purposefully chose to not have a name! it had a name at some point, but it lost its memories when it died and is now a zombie-like creature who can only be referred to as a problem <3
