Tiny container themes seem to no longer be a trend thankfully, but can we PLEASE ditch tiny icons / icon borders?? They've long overstayed their welcome. I don't understand the point of using icons that're smaller than 50x50 pixels. And even 50x50 itself is pushing it.

Hostile to accessibility issues aside, literally making an ICON difficult to see or make out the contents of defeats the whole purpose of using one altogether. Idc how "pretty" or "fancy" its aesthetic is.

Talk to me about setting one up beforehand! Assuming we have one going right out of the blue, unless our characters are canons who know each other in canon, will just confuse me. Also, what exactly the pre-estab ship might have to be thoroughly discussed. For example, if the character you write is a fankid of one of my own.

Ignoring shipping implications - I'm not inherently opposed to fankids, but many don't really do anything...interesting with them in rp. They tend to be "x/y/z's child" and have little to nothing else to their identity.

If I get the impression that you cannot take a harmless joke, you're so protective over your character that you refuse to allow them to be disrespected or harmed by another IC-ly in rp, or you don't tolerate people expressing their opinions about the canon character you rp in reference to how they're portrayed in canon (coughcough)...I will avoid you.

Posting or reblogging untagged art of a ship I hate / don't like. Yes, I'm that petty and picky with what I want to be on my dashboard. Anything unimportant that genuinely annoys me or brings down my mood is a no-no. Even if it comes from a mutual I enjoy seeing on dash otherwise, but in that case I just hop off and ignore the dash for a while to cool down.

I can usually ignore the ship presented in text just by scrolling, but art isn't easy to scroll past without getting a glimpse of it. And honestly even if it is tagged, if it's rampant across your blog, I'll still probably unfollow.

✱ ATTENTION SPRING BOYS !!

( ✱ Hello!! I was thinking about making something special for Spring Boys concert for quite some time now but I haven't been too sure how to go about it since I don't have Twitter or if anyone would be into it/like it/want to be included without my asking... Some of you may know I used to do a lot of edits back in 2019/2020 (and do many on my own blog) and I wanted to continue that because, tbh, I miss seeing more people on dash interacting and feeling more like a community. I was gonna make some gifs now that I'm on a roll with icons and Seojin's own set for the performances. So I'm going out on a limb here and making a post saying if anyone in Spring Boys would be interested in their muse being a part of the massive edit I will be making. SERIOUS TALK. I'm heavily considering moving this account to a new one. This one is getting really cluttered between the awful tumblr changes not remembering my tags, not being able to find headcanons, old asks & threads accumulating, in general is a mess. Not only that but things as general graphics and aesthetics feel very outdated. Being pretty honest, Tomoya was supposed to be a "TEMPORARY BLOG" while I took a break from my previous main muse. That's why I didn't even bother to make pretty fancy tags, pages or really elaborated graphics. I didn't expect to get attached to them, surprised myself with the bonds they have created too ! Plus, I think I have grasped by now the direction of this muse, builded up a story I still have to talk about and AUs set that I sure do love exploring. So as soon as this semester is over, I'll start preparing a new blog to move this one and have a fresh start. Here comes a to do list for myself on what I should prepare before moving this account though. Will be done in the shadows as I continue using this one for the time being.

Look for a new URL ! If possible one that matches the spring aesthetic I want to give off. If not, one about fate / destiny or lighting / thunderstorms will do.

Make a new rules page and be more precise in the unfollowing / following section as well as some things I want to prevent while plotting and shipping with others.

Use a new formatting that uses purples and reds ! C'mon Berry, use to your advantage the new formatting options.

I tend to write 2-5 paragraphs on average. Don't feel pressured to match my length. Just give me something to work with.

I write one-liners only in dash commentary/crack posts.

I will write in regular sized font. I will absent most formatting except italics where appropriate. It's an accessibility thing.

I usually write 3rd person, past tense.

On shipping

I don't practice ship exclusivity.

Astarion has a very flirtatious and overtly sexual way he carries himself. As such his flirting is surface level. He will see any romantic interactions, at first, as a means to an end. A transaction. If the chemistry between our muses is right, he can become caring and softer towards his chosen partner.

4. What are some of your rp pet peeves?

((Just... constant thread drops to the point we can't even get a relationship established cuz the threads just get dropped after three replies.. I get that maybe you lose motivation or maybe stuff is going on in your life... but idk, I love building relationships with my muses and other muses... I can't do that if a thread never goes anywhere. I'd rather have a thread take a long time to be replied to than constantly dropped...

Another pet peeve I have is untrimmed posts. If it takes me over five seconds to scroll through a post, I'm either blacklisting the url or unfollowing. I hate my dash cluttered with untrimmed posts.

Also, like GIANT icons that aren't cropped really bug me idk why... But along with that-- ITTY BITTY ICONS also bug the shit out of me.. like-- some people make them SO small I cannot see what is being expressed in the icon... and that defeats the whole purpose of USING icons.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS : I started RPing in different platforms when I was 12 years old and today I'm 27. Basically that's my most regular hobby so I'm quite used to how it works and I love it profoundly!

BEST EXPERIENCE : Here! It's been three years I'm active on this blog and I truly found my purpose in the RP world. I can have multiple muses and different plots, I have awesome interactions and I'm no more fandom dependent. It's truly the best! (even more when you find your writing soulmates, and you can even develop a live friendship and such, only a wonderful bonus 🙏)

RP PET PEEVE : I have several, but I will voice those I have mostly written in my rules. I really don't like drama in any form, so basically when I see a "drama" tag and names or screenshots dropped, I just block and move on, I don't need that toxicity so it's a forever bye bye on my side. The second main RP pet peeve would be spamming thirst posts and NSFW icons all day long until it clogs the dash, and basically there's nothing left for actual plotting except a perpetual "thirst" for one fictional blorbo. The finale one is constant threads drops with no notification ever. I do drop threads, but I noticed that a few blogs looking for a daily dose of serotonine are just constantly dropping whatever you start with them and it's frustrating on my hand because I tend to be slow so...

PLOTS OR MEMES : Plot is very VERY important for me. I can get the satisfaction of starting something quick and all, but my interest and focus will vanish when there's no plot at all and no story to follow. It's a part of my guilty pleasure, to gush with someone in DM and imagine scenario regarding the next steps! Plots all the way down, my longer and oldest threads are all plotted and I LOVE them.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : I'm adaptable, but truly, I know I don't really enjoy short threads. I need material to voice my muses and they have quite a lot to say, a bit of details and context... Otherwise it's getting complicated to push the story forward (for plotted threads at least). I would say medium-long is the perfect length for me!

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES : Nope, that's for sure, but I have always used a bit of my own persona to build things, like an inch of myself to know how a muse would react to something and all. what i like about your character(s): again, where do i START. i just love to read your content, and no matter how short or how long, how goofy or how serious it may be, i love it! you capture all of your muses so, so well, and i absolutely love your interpretation of lumine on the dash, i think that you've really made her into your own seeing as her canon personality can be at the whim of the player's actions sometimes. i love how you interpret all of your genshin muses, really! and tbh, we should definitely remember to discuss katsuki interacting with them in his genshin verse, because i think that'd be so much fun while you're not so focused on bnha.

but ON bnha, i love how you tackle all of your muses. from the ones that don't see as much action like mina and jirou and ms. joke to those that do, like toga and ochako, you really give ample consideration to their canon counterparts and work in conjunction with it. and when you don't, you adjust accordingly so that your headcanons are unique while feeling like a part of canon at the same time. you don't NEED to stick to the canon material for them to feel authentic and true to their characters. and honestly, i love seeing it all unfold!

but of course, i can't go without talking about how amazing your ochako is. i mean! you do not shy away from the fact that she is a BADASS. she nearly bested katsuki bakugou, of all people, in the sports festival, and even though their quirks have evolved since then, they would still be on par with each other in terms of quirk strength, speed, and quick thinking... she DESERVES to be recognised as a force of nature even when she aims to specialise in saving and helping people, and you really showcase that - all the while maintaining her personality as a very sweet person who likes to help in any capacity. all this to say your portrayal of her is so perfect for katsuki and i would die for them

what i like about you in general: holds you gently in my hands. you have also been around from basically the beginning of my blog, you've seen my katsuki evolve and change as the manga has progressed, and in turn, i've gotten to see you evolve your characters and take on new ones with just as much investment. i love your persistence, your consideration, and outside of tumblr, in discord? you've always been one of the nicest people to talk to! you have always seemed like a genuine person and honestly i'm so glad that we're friends!!

1. Yes this a blog for rping but I won’t be affiliating with the rpc for many reason as it is not good for my mental health. Most of the time it for follower numbers, middle school drama, ghosting or to get something out of others. I’m sorry but I’m tried of it. 😬

2. I do have an about of my characters list but you’re going to have to ask for the link in my box ask. 9/10 people don’t read my characters list I worked hard on. Sorry but I’m tired of putting the work in and not getting feed back.

3. No I’ll not be using icons for my rps anymore. It distracts me from focusing on writing replies. And yes you can use icons with yours. I only ask you not to force me to use icons. 👍

5. My reply length is about 1 to 4 paragraphs. The only requirement I ask you is to give me about a paragraph for me to work with.

6. If I don't follow you back, it means you didn't ask for my characters list in the inbox. Mostly likely I'm going to soft or hard block you. It really depends.

7. I will say this I’m mostly on discord, playing video games, listening to music or doodling. Maybe other life stuffs. So it may take me awhile to see the reply, im or ask. If you have my discord, you are free to tell me you have replied.

Smut rps will not be on this blog, as there is a side blog for it (I will give you the link for it, or we can move it to Discord.). Do not pressure me to provide the link to you. I will link it when I’m ready. You will risk getting blocked.

11. No double/Same character jealousy or sharing the same ship jealousy. There will be 3 three warnings, and then I will block you on the fourth. It isn’t the first time I dealt with this shit. It is common sense. And if there is any jealousy in a Discord server or dm, it will still count on this blog. Even if we’re close friends/ best friends, you don’t get a free pass.

-First warning: I will blacklist you on my dash and refuses to talk/write you until I feel safe and hopefully understand to knock it off. Time may vary on how much you push the damn button.

007. interacting ⸻ i will like starter call , but do not wait to see one on my blog because it won’t happen often. instead , please send memes. they can always become threads. and they are great ways to explore our muses while we aren't working on our active threads. send them and send them often, i'm never agitated if you're sending multiple. i'll delete any i don't have muse for but i'll always answer some.
