NATIONAL VANILLA ICE CREAM DAY WITH THE POGUES

SUMMARY: it’s National Vanilla Ice cream day, after a surf day with the pogues you all go to the ice cream place for free vanilla ice cream.

You and the pogues had just gone surfing and were now all piling back into John b’s car named The Twinkie, “did you see that wave I caught? It was gnarly” JJ exclaimed loudly and happily “but did you see the way pope wiped out and ate sand?” You said laughing at pope who had a rash from the blow.

“Hey that wave caught me by surprise, plus John b wiped out like 5 times I only wiped out once” pope said defensively, “I’ll admit I wasn’t on my best game today” John b stated starting the car up. “Yo Y/N had some good waves I was pretty jealous” JJ said smirking at you he was very proud to be able to call you his friend.

“I could just feel like something good was coming and I went for it” you said while putting your hair up in a bun but the look on pope’s face let you know it was awful, “here I’ll braid it, regular, fishtail, or French?” Kiara asked coming to you “ooouu surprise me” you said to your best friend. You would also call JJ your best friend but you’ve always had feelings for him so it always felt like more? He always was caught looking at you and he always would have you close to him whether he was holding you or he could see you JJ was very touchy with you.

“Oh did you guys know it’s national vanilla ice cream day?” Kie asked “no I didn’t, we should go get some. I really want ice cream” pope said smiling so wide “I could go for about 200 ice creams” John b said moaning over the nice cold treat, “yeah man it’s hot as fuck outside we are going” JJ announced clapping his hands “to the ice cream place” JJ said pointing out to the road.

“Aye aye captain” John b said “actually you would be the captain JJ is kinda like th-“ pope was cut off by JJ “I’m the right hand man” JJ said smirking “no I am because you’re to impulsive, you’re more like the tag along” pope said which caused JJ to spin around in his seat up front “you know I don’t tag along in the one who gets us in the situation of an adventure” JJ said like it was obvious.

“Aww don’t get mean to little J he is like a little puppy he needs all the love” you said while kie still braids you hair you could hear her giggling back at you “That’s just wrong big J, maybe I’ll let you find out” JJ said looking you dead in the eye with a wink which caused you to look away and blush, “eww and no pogue on pogue macking” kie said slapping your shoulder “I finished it, it’s fishtail seemed fitting since you live in the ocean you’re our mermaid” kie said.

“We are at the ice cream place” John b braked very hard and yelled excitement in his voice, you were the first out and ran to the ice cream shop “damn she really loves ice cream” pope said “me two” kie said skipping over to you, you held the door for her but slammed it in the boys face making John b walk into the closed door “aaaww fuck” John b said holding his head “thats gunna leave a mark” pope said JJ just laughed “I saw that coming”

When the boys entered you and kie were already ordering “oh my god can you drizzle caramel and put sprinkles on mine” you asked the ice cream person they nodded and you jumped in the air “what are you 5?” JJ asked you but he was amused by your behavior he loved when you were so happy that you were giddy.

“No actually I’m 4” you said rolling your eyes and going to find a table, once everyone got their order you all just sat around enjoying your ice cream. John b all but inhaled it and went and got another one kie was taking her time savoring it, Pope had finished his quickly and was trying to get rid of a brain freeze, JJ was eating his very messily and had it dripping all over his hand you had got ice cream on your face but JJ grabbed a napkin and then grabbed your face and wiped it for you.

Immediately after you went back to your ice cream but pulled away with some on your nose you had no idea, kie snapped a picture super quick pope and John b were laughing so hard “yo kie send that to me” John b said about to cry, you still ate your ice cream not noticing what was happening around you “she really is 4” pope said which made everyone but you and JJ laugh.

JJ looked at you and smiled softly and admired you for a minute before he smirked having an idea “hey Y/N” JJ said you looked over at him and he leaned in and licked your nose and then pulled away smirking, “did you just.. lick my nose?” You asked confused “he just licked her nose” pope said wide eyed John b was laughing his ass off over his friends kie had got that on video and shouted “I got that whole thing on video, like the whole fucking thing” “no way” pope said leaning in and re watched it “you had ice cream on your nose” JJ told your smiling “but you had to lick it off?” You asked laughing at him “yes I did, I could always lick something else too” he said smirking your mouth fell open and you blushed everyone else groaned and said ew.

“Every Tuesday we should come here and get ice cream” you said smiling at your friends.
