For several years and even now it's been mightynii for their use of shapes and clairity in their works which is where I learned how to simplify to what is considered the basics and most recognizable

With the discovery of B4kuch1n, I learned how to draw more flowy hair and express character through clothes and I love how he uses poetry and alot of elements such as water and plants in their art, it's really lovely to see.

Dilfosaur/Karina Farek, I really love how she draws bodies and gestures for her artwork, which is where I get my main idea for how I approach the chest area especially, it makes it easier to find where the angle is at and how it's moving

Hiromu Arakawa's style of drawing hands and simplifying it to 2 joints has been such a gamechanger to how I draw hands and I have this study to thank for for several years now!

Akira Toriyama, he's been my longest influence and as I read through the manga in it's entirety (I haven't read it before that point) I realize how Toriyama simplifies the human/anthro bodies but the machines are what makes his characters pop out more, they feel real as they interact with the machines. I really want to learn how he draw's machines as it's something that I greatly struggle with alot in my art so it's fascinating to see how he bases it from older models but they feel like characters in a way, as it feels unique but practical.

Kamejiro's the creator for the manga "The princess of sylph" and I love how she plays with poses and character dynamics of Natalia and Sara, it feels lively and they can fill a whole sketch compilation of just sara and natalia and I would be so fascinated to see how she explores these two's dynamic, it's just wonderful

Paru Itagaki, also known as the Beastars, Beast complex and Sanda creator, and I'm just in love with her characters just talking, the fights are good but when they speak to each other, it shines so well

I love how she draws eyes and how she brings out the character within the species that she bases it on, Louis with big eyes and strong pride, Legoshi with his quiet temperament but big body that doesn't mesh well like it's fighting against himself, it's just wonderful and I will usually choose a random chapter or read it all again whenever I feel like it!

For Neji, I love how they draw monster girls and how they approach face expressions, it feels rich and you can feel the goofy but also sadder tones of the expressions that are used.

I've been reading:

Otherside picnic (Sci-fi horror yuri)

I only got to start off a bit of book 5 so I'm trying to get back into reading that since there are some fun bits that I've been hearing

It's a long time favorite of mine ever since the anime started airing (I believe?）

The Princess of Sylph (Fantasy comedy Yuri by @/kamenoko5020 on twitter, you can also find their pixiv there as well)

I've been enjoying the story and art style of this one!

Also, there's a character that reminds me of a friend, mainly from the name

Tsukuritai onna to tabetai onna (Yuri that focuses on food)

This manga series also had a live-action adaptation, which was a wonderful show to watch so if you're interested in watching, there's that!

Double house (1998)

It's probably one of the few yuri series that i actually enjoyed how they handled their trans characters, and it's something that i wanted to get a reread soon to give myself another coat of thought (if i can call it that)
