Have you Been Naughty or Nice?
Swiped from @lil-kissyβ
βSerafina, youβre new here. You should go first!β
βOkay. Whoβs next?β
βEstrella said weβre going to be going from newest muse to oldest this year.β
βOh, thatβd be me!β
There's a reason Santa created a Naughty List. And you're just one of those reasons, Serafina.
βSeriously?!β
βThis thing isnβt always right. It put Ghost on the naughty list for slacking off at work last year... And it doesnβt have a job.β
Annabelle, you must have been EXTRA nice this year. Santa has a smiley face next to your name on the Nice List!
βHooray! I want a doll.β
Way to help that old lady, Valeriya. Santa will certainly add you to the Nice List this year.Β
I must say, Ekaterina. You've really improved last year's performance and made the cut on the Nice List!
βYay!β
Wow Dmitri, rescuing those Orphans from that burning building got you a free ride on Santa's Nice List for years to Β come!
βThatβs nice... But I havenβt saved anyone from a burning building.β
βSee what I mean by this not always being right?β
Little ghost, you must have been EXTRA nice this year. Santa has a smiley face next to your name on the Nice List!
Aleksei, you REALLY put ex-lax in Santa's cookies?! Don't expect to see your name on the Nice List anytime soon.
βNo I didnβt!β
βPress the button again.β
Ho ho ho! Nice try, Aleksei. Thought you could slip one past the Big Guy, huh? Naughty.
βI didnβt, really!β
Aleksei, do you really think Santa is unaware of your inappropriate Facebook posts? Naughty.
βWHAT THE HELL IS βFACEBOOKβ?β
*Snickering*
βItβs just a game, Aleksei. Donβt worry about it.β
βAnd donβt laugh at him, Ekaterina.β
βMy turn!β
Dyanna, shouldnβt you be working, instead of surfing the web during office hoursβ¦?
NAUGHTY LIST FOR YOU!
βIβm only eleven, I donβt have a job!β
Hmmmm... you've got a couple weeks left to redeem yourself, Elias. Β Right now, you are on the Naughty List!
βAlrighty... Will do.β
... π
βCan I try?β
βHave at it, little guy.β
In the words of Larry David, you've been "pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good" this year.

Bellona is the goddess of war. One of the earliest etymologies of her name translates to "action of valor, war." She was worshipped by a number of cults in Rome, one of which was lead by priests who would cut their own limbs as blood offerings to her. In another militaristic cult, Bellona is often depicted alongside Virtus, the personification of valor. Considered a noble virtue, linking Bellona with valor implies that the Romans β although they recognized that Bellona oversees the destructive and bloodthirsty side of conflict β viewed her as the noble and valiant aspect of warfare as well.
In poetry, the goddess represents the destructive and belligerent aspect of war. Shakespeare describes her as "the fire-eyed maid of smoky war." In art, Bellona is commonly portrayed wearing a plumed helmet and dressed in armour. In her hand she carries a spear, shield, or other weapons, and occasionally, she sounds a trumpet for the attack. Victoria (the personification of victory) frequently accompanies her, ensuring her success in battle.

Fauna is the female companion of the god Faunus and is an example of the characteristically Roman tendency to form gender-complementary pairs within a sphere of functionality. It is unknown what Fauna's relations to Faunus is: she's either his wife, daughter, or sister depending on what source you read β and sometimes more than just one.
Fauna's name has been regarded to be derived from faveo and favere ("to favor, nurture"), because she nurtures all that is useful to living creatures. She also has the ability of prophecy and can foresee future events, which come to her in a madness frenzy.

Dmitri: *points his bow at crows eating the neighbor's pumpkins*
Sergei:Β You should just yell at them, it would have the same effect without running the risk of losing or breaking a perfectly good arrow.
Gennadiya:Β Crow pot pie go brrrr

Send π and Iβll tell you their love language for muse of choice
Learn more about my muse!
The Sobakin kids' love language(s) are touch and acts of service. Theyβre both very cuddly, especially with each other and their parents. Dmitri is especially, especially cuddly.
Aside from that, they show love by doing things for those they love - The most common way they do it is in the kitchen or the garden. Either washing the dishes, cooking meals, cleaning up, weeding the garden, picking the ripe fruits and vegetables, etc.
For example, in Before the Full Moons Rise, Gennadiya told the kids not to go back to the world of the monsters. She was so insistent that she freakinβ shook Dmitri like a ragdoll and all but screamed at the kids to promise theyβd stay, and just about cried with relief when they did.
... So you can imagine how she must have lost her mind when she found them gone the next morning. Ekaterina knew sheβd freak out and panic, so she decided to make breakfast so that Gennadiya wouldnβt have to.
Another example is, in Before the Winter Ends, after the monsters kidnapped Ieronim and Dyanna had sank into a pit of depression (As any little girl would after her baby brother was kidnapped by creatures that would surely kill him and she has no way to save him!), the Sobakin kids made cookies and brought it to the Veselovskys, and even offered to stay and help them make dinner and clean up after. (Radimir and Ludmilla turned down the offer, reasoning that Sergei and Gennadiya would expect them back before dark, but still. The point stands)

I was going over Before the Full Moons Rise, and here's a snippet I liked :3
Ekaterina tossed a match into the stove, and the crumpled inside caught fire. The coal would quickly follow, and she set about cracking eggs into a bowl and stirring them.
βKatia?β Dmitri asked.
βJust one less thing for Mama to worry about,β she said.
For context, the kids are about to go back to the world of the fairies, even though Gennadiya demanded they stay home and stay safe, and she'll probably freak out when she find them gone. Katia decided to make breakfast so Gennadiya woulndβt have to cook that morning.

Which Lady from Children's Literature are you?Β π§π»π©βπ¦°
I did this quiz for Gennadiya and Katia because Dimaβs a boy. I almost did Pakhta too, but it turns out this quiz is so geared towards humans that I gave up less than halfway through...
Madeline (The Ludwig Bemelmans books)
You're sincere, charming, brave, daring, and iconic. You make a memorable impression to others, who remember you both as a kindly, friendly presence, and as a bit of a daredevil, who has had all sorts of adventures.
Sophie Hatter (Howl's Moving Castle)
Clever, practical, full of common sense, dignified, sometimes grouchy, and a strange mix of bold yet lacking confidence. You are fondly loved by others around you, and should remember that more often.

I stumbled across this Picrew while digging around, and I made Gennadiya and Dima!
I had to edit their hair, because there's only brown and black options for the baby and brown, black, and blonde options for the mother
