Here's some random elucien headcanons I came up with involving pearls (which I couldn't post yesterday)

Lucien loves seeing his mate wear the gifts he's got her. After she accepted the bond, he leaves tiny trinkets at first to see if she would accept them at all. It fills him with joy when she does.

Elain tries to wear the gifts her mate leaves her(usually jewelry) as often as possible. She's hesitant at first but notices how Lucien's eyes gleam when he notices what she's wearing. He never fails to compliment her about it either.

Elain likes to make Lucien squirm when in public and she tries her absolute best to be successful.

One day, when Lucien is in a meeting with Helion and Eris, Elain casually walks in claiming she's there to deliver a message.

She's in day court attire but they're a bit more showy than usual and there's a single chain gracing her neck that leads all the way down to her navel.(like below)

Needless to say, Lucien has lost all interest in the court meeting and is sitting there thinking about other meetings. Meetings that happen in private. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Because of how much Lucien seems to like pearls on her, Elain gets a custom made necklace which is all kinds of wicked.

One evening, when Lucien is late from attending meetings at the Autumn Court, Elain decides to punish him.

She puts on her custom made choker-necklace(below. Without the slip ofc) and waits for Lucien to show up.

Lucien walks in, fully intending to apologise to his mate, but his words die on his lips when he sees her.

Elain sits him down on a chair but doesn't touch him. That's his punishment. No touching.

Luciens fingers ache to hold her. Seeing her with just a single piece of jewelry on her drives him mad. Pearls nonetheless.

Elain tells him how it's his punishment for being late. Lucien just chuckes at that. Is it tho? When he's obviously enjoying every bit of it?
