Oltre sessant'anni di carriera di uno dei grandi maestri della fotografia del Novecento Un omaggio a Richard Avedon (1923-2004), il fotografo statunitense che ha legato il suo nome e i suoi scatti a riviste iconiche come Harper's Bazaar, Vogue e The New Yorker. Celebre ritrattista, Avedon fu tra i primi padri della fotografia di moda di cui rivoluzionò lo stile quando, già dal 1945, tralasciò le pose statiche per collocare le modelle in ambientazioni reali. Quelle di Avedon sono immagini quasi cinematografiche che portano chi le osserva a immaginare i racconti e le storie che sembrano evocare. Davanti all'obiettivo di Avedon non sono transitate solo le modelle più famose dell'epoca, ma anche una ricca compagine di personaggi tra i quali attori, danzatori, celebrità, artisti, musicisti, scrittori, attivisti per i diritti civili, fino ai capi di stato. Inoltre, non di rado il medesimo soggetto veniva ritratto più volte e in periodi diversi, creando vere e proprie relazioni fotografiche che rivelano aspetti differenti sia della persona ritratta, sia del suo rapporto con il fotografo. Realizzato in collaborazione con il Center for Creative Photography e la Richard Avedon Foundation (con main partner Versace e media partner Vogue Italia), Richard Avedon. Relationships presenta oltre cento fotografie di moda e ritratti iconici, appartenenti alla vasta collezione del Center for Creative Photography: dagli artisti Jasper Johns, Andy Warhol e Louise Nevelson a Ezra Pound e Truman Capote, da John Ford e Michelangelo Antonioni a Humphrey Bogart e Marilyn Monroe, da Jimmy Carter e George Bush a Malcom X e Kofi Annan, da Bob Dylan, John Lennon e Paul McCartney alle modelle Dovima, Veruschka e Linda Evangelista. 1945 01 Bodenplatte - Nicolas Trudgian

The success of Operation Bodenplatte, on January 1, 1945, was to be achieved by mass surprise attacks on British and American bases in France, Belgium and Holland.It was a battle fought at great cost to the Luftwaffe. During the battles some 300 Luftwaffe aircraft were lost. Though 200 Allied aircraft were destroyed, most on the ground, pilot losses were light.Nicolas Trudgian’s brilliant painting takes us right into the action above the Allied air base at Eindhoven. Me262 jets join a concentration of Me109s and Fw190s of JG-3 fighter wing, as they hurtle across the airfield in an assault that lasted 23 minutes, while Spitfires from 414 Sqn RCAF do their best to repel the attack. On the ground Typhoon fighters of 439 Sqn take a hammering.

Mengapa Negara Indonesia Menolak Keras Akan LGBT

LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual dan transgender) adalah sebuah akronim yang tidak lagi asing bagi masyarakat Indonesia dan topik tersebut mulai menjadi pusat perhatian tidak hanya bagi masyarakat tetapi juga bagi pemerintahan. Pada awal abad ke-21, Belanda menjadi negara pertama yang melegalisasikan pernikahan sesame jenis (gay marriage) dan di kemudian hari negara-negara lain mulai mengikuti jejak Belanda, sehingga pada tahun 2018 ada 27 negara yang telah melegalisasikan aksi tersebut. Selain fakta tersebut, tahukah anda bahwa sebenarnya LGBT telah dianggap sebagai hukum internasional berhubungan dengan hak asasi manusia, lebih tepatnya lagi, International Human Rights Law and Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity?

Secara garis besar, International Human Rights Law and Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity mempunyai dua prinsip utama yaitu adalah kesetaraan (equality) dan tidak adanya diskriminasi (non-discrimination). Selain dari prinsip tersebut, negara juga mempunyai peran untuk bisa mendukung aksi tersebut dengan cara 1) melindungi individu dari kekerasan homophobic dan transphobic 2) Mencegah perilaku tidak manusiawi (penyiksaan, penghinaan) terhadap kaum LGBT 3) mendekriminalisasi homosexualitas 4) Melarang diskriminasi berdasarkan orientasi sexual dan identitas gender 5) Menghormati kebebasan berekspresi.

Meskipun bersifat hukum internasional, Indonesia dan beberapa negara lain berdiri tegas dengan tidak dapat menerima LGBT di negara masing-masing. Hal tersebut dikarenakan Indonesia adalah negara hukum seperti yang tertulis dalam Pasal 1 Ayat 3 UUD 1945. Apakah dengan alasan tersebut mengartikan bahwa negara yang lain tidak berhukum? Tidak, yang membedakan hukum Indonesia dan hukum negara lain adalah Indonesia mempunyai landasan hukum yaitu Pancasila. Pancasila seperti yang masyarakat Indonesia ketahui adalah sebuah landasan ideologi dasar bagi negara Indonesia yang terdiri dari lima sila yaitu 1) Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa 2) Kemanusiaan yang adil dan beradab 3) Persatuan Indonesia 4) Kerakyatan yang dipimpin oleh hikmat kebijaksanaan dalam permusyawaratan/perwakilan 5) Keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia.

Jika ditanya mengapa Indonesia tidak dapat menerima LGBT, mayoritas akan menjawab bahwa LGBT bertentangan dengan norma-norma dan nilai-nilai Indonesia terutama Pancasila yang pertama yaitu “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa”. Sila 1 secara tidak langsung menjelaskan bahwa negara Indonesia adalah negara yang beragama dan secara garis besar agama manapun tidak memperbolehkan (mengharamkan) praktik LGBT tersebut. Justru malah sebaliknya, Indonesia akan melawan LGBT dengan merencanakan sebuah hukum pidana terhadap kaum LGBT jika diketahui terlibat dalam hubungan seks sesama jenis dibawah beberapa kondisi (draf RUU KUHP pasal 492).

Akhir kata, penulis berasumsi dan berpikir bahwa hukum internasional terutama yang berkaitan dengan LGBT tidak mempunyai pengaruh oleh negara Indonesia. Negara Indonesia akan berdiri tegas dengan keputusannya untuk tidak dapat menerima aksi LGBT di Indonesia dan hal tersebut dikarena LGBT secara garis besar bertentangan dengan sila pertama dalam Pancasila yaitu “Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa”.

Anne de Gaulle (1928-1948 )

Ou l’enfant qui a révélé au monde le côté tendre du Général de Gaulle.

Le sujet du handicap me touche particulièrement et notamment celui de la Trisomie 21. Le frère de ma grand-mère, mon grand-oncle donc, est trisomique.

J’aime l’Histoire.

J’aime les personnages oubliés.

Et surtout, j’aime partager à propos de ces personnages oubliés.

Ainsi, quand j’ai découvert la petite Anne de Gaulle, après avoir lu son histoire, je me suis sentie obligée de vous en parler ici.

Anne de Gaulle (1928-1948) est la deuxième fille, le troisième et dernier enfant du Général de Gaulle (1890-1970) et de son épouse Yvonne (1900-1979). Avant d’avoir Anne, ils ont eu Philippe (1921-2024) et Elisabeth (1924-2013).

Anne naît le 01 janvier 1928 à Trèves (Allemagne) et à sa naissance, son père dit à son ami Lucien Nachin :

« Nous l’appellerons Anne. Elle verra peut-être l’an 2000 et la grande peur qui se déchaînera sans doute dans le monde à ce moment-là. Elle verra les nouveaux riches devenir pauvres et les anciens riches recouvrer leurs fortunes à la faveur des bouleversements. Elle verra les socialistes passer doucement à l’état de réactionnaires. Elle verra la France victorieuse une fois de plus manquer la rive gauche du Rhin et, peut-être, son petit-fils tiendra-t-il garnison dans Trèves. »

Très vite, il s’avère que la fillette est porteuse de trisomie 21 en plus d’une déficience intellectuelle. Pour rappel, la trisomie 21 est une maladie génétique qui touche toute la personne. Elle résulte d’une anomalie chromosomique : normalement, l’être humain possède 46 chromosomes organisés en 23 paires. Dans la trisomie 21, le chromosome 21 est en trois exemplaires au lieu de deux, portant le nombre total de chromosomes à 47. (Cf le site de la fondation Jérôme Lejeune). Et dans une époque où les personnes trisomiques sont cachées dans des centres, le Général et son épouse décident pourtant de la garder auprès d’eux. Charles de Gaulle, de nature introvertie, est avec sa petite dernière un papa dévoué, aimant, presque gâteau, la laissant jouer avec son képi, et dévoilant ainsi son côté plus doux et tendre derrière sa carrure de colosse militaire. D’ailleurs, il la surnomme « Ma joie ».

Afin de toujours développer un peu plus son éveil, il lui chante des chansons, essaye de lui apprendre à parler. Si elle parlera peu, l’un des mots qu’elle prononcera le plus sera « Papa ».

En 1945, Yvonne de Gaulle fonde la fondation Anne de Gaulle afin qu’il y ait un lieu où accueillir les jeunes filles atteintes de déficience mentale, « sans ressources, bénéficiant des secours de l’assistance publique et de préférence provenant de familles éprouvées par la guerre ». Cette institution existe encore de nos jours.

Malheureusement, trois ans plus tard, la tragédie frappe la famille.

Lors des funérailles de sa fille, Charles s’écroule sur la tombe d’Anne puis dans les bras du prêtre officiant le service, lequel dira plus tard :

« Je me suis agenouillé pour prononcer une prière. Quand je me suis relevé, il a fait deux pas vers moi et il s’est littéralement effondré sur mon épaule. Peut-être étions-nous ridicules : Sancho Pança soutenant Don Quichotte »

Le Général de Gaulle aurait prononcé ces mots à son épouse éplorée :

« Maintenant, elle est comme les autres. »

Le souvenir d’Anne restera présent pour le Général de Gaulle, lequel ne se remettra jamais de la mort de sa précieuse fille.

Le 22 août 1962, il est victime d’un attentat, l’attentat raté au Petit Clamart. On lui a tiré dessus. Il racontera plus tard qu’une balle avait été arrêtée par le cadre de la photo d’Anne que son épouse avait toujours avec elle dans une mallette, placée ce jour-là sur la plage arrière de la voiture.

Le 09 novembre 1970, Charles meurt et est inhumé aux côtés de sa petite Anne. Yvonne les rejoindra neuf ans plus tard, puis Elisabeth, la sœur aînée de la jeune fille, en 2013. Philippe, quant à lui, est décédé tout récemment, le 13 mars 2024, à 102 ans.

Du 3 au 10 décembre 2022, dans le cadre de la journée internationale des personnes handicapées, l’aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle est temporairement rebaptisé “Paris-Anne de Gaulle” pour sensibiliser à l’insertion des personnes en situation de handicap.

Comme quoi, même les vies vues comme plus modestes impactent aussi le cours du temps.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం : తేజోపూర్ణములైన సర్వములందు తేజ:కారణుడతడే. భౌతికత్వమును అంధకారమునకు అతీతుడైన అతడు అవ్యక్తుడు. జ్ఞానము, జ్ఞానవిషయము, జ్ఞానగమ్యము కూడా అతడే. అతడే ఎల్లరి హృదయములందు స్థితుడై యున్నాడు.

🌷. భాష్యము : సూర్యుడు,చంద్రుడు, నక్షత్రములు వంటి తేజోమయములైన వాని తేజమునకు పరమాత్ముడే (దేవదేవుడే) కారణు. ఆధ్యాత్మికజగమునందు సూర్యుడు లేదా చంద్రుని అవసరము లేదనియు. దేవదేవుని తేజము అచ్చట విస్తరించియుండుటయే అందులకు కారణమనియు వేదవాజ్మయమున తెలుపబడినది. కాని భగవానుని తేజమైన ఆ బ్రహ్మజ్యోతి ఈ భౌతికజగమునందు మహాతత్త్వముచే (భౌతికాంశములు) కప్పుబడుట వలన ఇచ్చట వెలుగు కొరకు సూర్యుడు, చంద్రుడు, విద్యుత్తు మనకు అవసరములగుచున్నవి. ఇటువంటివి ఆధ్యాత్మికజగత్తున ఏమాత్రము అవసరముండవు.

భగవానుని ప్రకాశమానమైన కాంతి చేతనే సర్వమును ప్రకాశింపజేయబడు��ున్నదని వేదములందు స్పష్టముగా తెలుపబడినది. దీనిని బట్టి అతడు భౌతికజగత్తు నందు స్థితిని కలిగిలేదని స్పష్టమగుచున్నది. ఆధ్యాత్మిక ఆకాశమున అత్యంతదూరములో దివ్యధామమునందు అతడు స్థితుడై యున్నాడు. ఈ విషయమును వేదములు సైతము నిర్ధారించియున్నవి. “ఆదిత్యవర్ణం తమస: పరస్తాత్ (శ్వేతాశ్వతరోపనిషత్తు 3.8) అనగా సూర్యుని వలె నిత్యకాంతిమంతుడైన భగవానుడు ఈ భౌతికజగత్తు అంధకారమునకు ఆవల నున్నాడు”. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

18. jyotiṣām api taj jyotis tamasaḥ param ucyate jñānaṁ jñeyaṁ jñāna-gamyaṁ hṛdi sarvasya viṣṭhitam

🌷 Translation : He is the source of light in all luminous objects. He is beyond the darkness of matter and is unmanifested. He is knowledge, He is the object of knowledge, and He is the goal of knowledge. He is situated in everyone’s heart.

🌹 Purport : The Supersoul, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the source of light in all luminous objects like the sun, moon and stars. In the Vedic literature we find that in the spiritual kingdom there is no need of sun or moon, because the effulgence of the Supreme Lord is there. In the material world that brahma-jyotir, the Lord’s spiritual effulgence, is covered by the mahat-tattva, the material elements; therefore in this material world we require the assistance of sun, moon, electricity, etc., for light.

But in the spiritual world there is no need of such things. It is clearly stated in the Vedic literature that because of His luminous effulgence, everything is illuminated. It is clear, therefore, that His situation is not in the material world. He is situated in the spiritual world, which is far, far away in the spiritual sky. That is also confirmed in the Vedic literature. Āditya-varṇaṁ tamasaḥ parastāt (Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad 3.8). He is just like the sun, eternally luminous, but He is far, far beyond the darkness of this material world. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

శంఖచూడుడిట్లు పలికెను - ఓ సేనాపతీ! ఈనాడు యుద్ధనిపుణులగు వీరులందరు యుద్దమునకు కావలసిన ఏర్పట్లనన్నిటినీ సంసిద్ధము చేసుకొని బయలుదేరెదరుగాక! (11)దైత్యుల యొక్క, శూరలగు దానవులయొక్క, మరియు బలవంతులగు కంకులయొక్క ఎనభై ఆరుపటాలములు సైన్యము ఆయుధములను సిద్ధముచేసుకొని నిర్భయముగా వెంటనే బయలుదేరవలెను (12). కోటి సైన్యముతో సమమగు పరాక్రమముగల అసురుల సేనలు ఏబది గలవు. దేవపక్షపాతియగు శంభునితో యుద్దము కొరకై ఆ సేనలు బయలుదేరును గాక! (13) ధౌమ్రుల వంద సేనలు నా ఆజ్ఞచే సన్నద్ధులై శంభునితో యుద్దము కొరకు వెంటనే బయలుదేరవలెను (14). కాలకేయులు, మౌర్యులు, మరియు కాలకులు నా ఆజ్ఞచే సన్నద్ధులై రుద్రునితో యుద్ధము కొరకు బయలుదేరెదరు గాక! (15).

సనత్కుమారుడిట్లు పలికెను - అసురులకు, దానవులకు ప్రభువు, మహాబలశాలియగు శంఖచూడుడు ఇట్లు ఆజ్ఞాపించి వేలాది పటాలముల మహాసైన్యముతో చుట్టు వారబడిన వాడై బయలు దేరెను (16). ఆతని సేనాపతి యుద్ధకళలో నిపుణుడు, మహాదథి, మహావీరుడు, యుద్ధములో రథికులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడు (17). మూడు లక్షల అక్షౌహిణీల సేనతో గూడియున్న ఆ సేనాపతి మంగళకరమగు పూజాదులను చేసి శిబిరము బయటకు వచ్చెను. యుద్ధములో శత్రు వీరులకాతడు భయమును గొల్పు చుండెను (18).ఆతడు శ్రేష్ఠమగు రత్నములతో అద్భుతముగా నిర్మింపబడిన విమానము నధిష్ఠించి, పెద్దలందరికీ నమస్కరించిన తరువాత, యుద్ధము కొరకు బయలుదేరెను (19).

Let the fifty families of Asuras, having the heroism and prowess of a crore set out to fight with Śiva, the partisan of the gods.

At my bidding, let the hundred armed families of Dhaumras speedily set out to fight with Śiva.

At my behest, let the Kālakeyas Mauryas, Dauhṛdas and the Kālakas set out ready for the fight with Śiva.

Sanatkumāra said:—

After ordering thus, the powerful lord of Asuras and the Emperor of the Dānavas set out surrounded by thousands of warriors and great armies.

1 7. His general was an expert in the science and technique of warfare. He was the best of charioteers a great hero and skilled in warfare.

He had three hundred thousand Akṣauhiṇī[2] armies. He performed the rites of auspicious beginning and came out of the camp. He was terrible to the watching heroes.

Mounting on an aerial chariot of exquisite build and inlaid with gems, and making obeisance to the elders and preceptors he set out for the battle.

కానీ అది ఎప్పుడు జరుగుతుందో ఎవరికీ తెలియదు. ఒడ్డున గులకరాళ్ళను సేకరించడం కొనసాగించాలి. మొత్తానికి గొప్ప సంఘటన అవుతుంది. మీరు ఒక గులకరాయిని సేకరించినప్పుడు, అది ఒక గులకరాయి. గులకరాళ్లన్నీ కలిస్తే ఒక్కసారిగా వజ్రాలు. అదే జీవితం యొక్క అద్భుతం. ఎప్పుడూ ఏదో గొప్పదనం కోసం ఎదురుచూస్తూ ఉన్నదాన్ని చూడలేని వాళ్లు ప్రపంచంలో చాలా మంది ఉన్నారు. ఇది జరగదు. ఇది చిన్న విషయాల ద్వారా మాత్రమే జరుగుతుంది: మీ అల్పాహారం తినడం, నడవడం, స్నానం చేయడం, స్నేహితుడితో మాట్లాడటం, ఒంటరిగా ఆకాశం వైపు చూస్తూ కూర్చోవడం లేదా ఏమీ చేయకుండా మీ మంచం మీద పడుకోవడం. ఈ చిన్న విషయాలతోనే జీవితం ఏర్పడింది. అవి జీవితానికి ముఖ్యమైనవి.
