I'm done with my GDToys Sesshomaru's "customizing." I might rework his bangs someday, in the not too far away future. I suck at styling my own hair, so it's no surprise I would suck at tiny headed 1:6 action figure's bangs. However, for now, I am super happy with him. There are many things that could be improved, but my shaky hands are not something that will be improving, ever! Lol! DX

My current cell phone's camera hates me, and I struggle with it as well as setting lights. These are terrible, there's so much noise. The other older than dust phone's camera, seems to want to make everything look washed out. However, this one adds so much noise and sh1t, for no reason. It's frustrating. I won't be getting a new camera. I want to, but I don't want to waste money when I know I suck at taking photos anyway...

Regardless of the suckyness, I am super happy with my customized Sessho! I felt like Sephy was my most beautiful 1:6 figure I owned, but this one is a very close second. Too bad I can't do it justice, painting wise, as well as photography wise. I suck! T___T;; I added a comparison, because a friend wanted to see the progress from the GDToys prototype, to the in-box factory paint apps, to my struggle to re-style his bangs. A one inch hair straightener might be too small for a human, but too freaking large for a 1:6 head sculpt's bangs! >.<;;

Nesta quinta-feira, 04 de janeiro, com concentração marcada para às 19h, a Unidos da Tijuca realizará seu primeiro ensaio de rua do ano na Via D1, no Santo Cristo, rua atrás da sua quadra de ensaios localizada na Avenida Francisco Bicalho nº 47. O ensaio inicia às 21 horas.

Participam do treino, comissão de frente, casais de mestre-sala e porta-bandeira, todos os componentes das alas e carros alegóricos, o intérprete Ito Melodia e o Carro de Som do Pavão, bateria Pura Cadência do Mestre Casagrande, a rainha Lexa e demais segmentos, todos liderados pela equipe de Harmonia do diretor Fernando Costa.

My GDToys 97005 (Sesshomaru) Son Of The Demon Dog Repaint, so far. I am pretty happy with him, I just need to restyle his bangs, and then I'll be done with him (for now). I suck at tiny things, my hands are definitely getting shakier with old freaking age! I already had a terrible shaky hand, but holey freaking heck hole, it's like I put my hands on a full speed blender, instead of steadying them on a flat steady table!

My older than dust cellphone died, and my "current" phone's battery was drained, so I took these with an even older phone, and they are obviously museum quality photos. However, I am super excited to finally complete this, so I wanted to take photos as I ruined the doming process, as usual! It took just a few hours over the course of three days, to repaint him and only with acrylic paints, so no sealing in between layers, which is why I love acrylics. I didn't want to go too hyperplastic with him, because the head sculpt is not, and Sesshomaru is not hyper-realistic either. I wanted his demon markings to look a bit textured, kind of like birth marks or tattoos, rather than paint or make up. I am in love with this head, I hope I can get a second one. I feel he would make a gorgeous Alucard (Castlevania). I missed my chance when he first released to get one parted out, so I am hoping I'll be able to get a second head sculpt at a not too exaggerated price. I kind of sorely regret not trying harder to get a loose HS, now that I' think about it more seriously.

I just need to fix his bangs... those are going to be a pain in the gut-hole! DX

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Migration Brewing has partnered up with Silver City Brewing of Bremerton, WA to produce a big west coast IPA named I-5 Vibes. The two breweries got together in April to make this draft-only product and will be celebrating the new release at John’s Market Beaverton (3700 SW Hall Blvd, Beaverton, OR 97005) on Friday 5.12 from 4-7pm. The event is open to the public. The beer is a limited draft offering and will be available at choice beer bars throughout the Pacific Northwest and at all Migration pubs.

“We’ve always enjoyed the Silver City team and the amazing hop forward beers they’ve put out over the years. It was a fun opportunity for our brewers to work together with some newer advanced hop products like Incognito and Salvo in a 7.7% abv IPA,” said Mike Branes, Co-Founder and Head Brewer at Migration Brewing.

With a lean grist bill made up of 2-Row and Pilsner malts, the two breweries showcased what they enjoy the most - hops and more hops! Simcoe hops were used in the boil to lay down a firm bitterness that’s not overpowering, while aromas of zesty grapefruit, tropical papaya, and pine are coupled with a resinous dank quality. Once you sip it, the myriad layers of hops let you know it’s not messing around!
